Tuckers is a traditional butcher, established in 1984 in Penclawdd on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The business originally supplied the local community with fresh meat, frozen goods and groceries from the shop and through a home delivery service. We couple traditional butchery practices with modern cutting styles to produce high quality cuts of Gower meat suitable for any menu. Our meat is sourced as livestock from farms on Gower and surrounding areas and carry out all our butchery from carcass form, providing full traceability from farm to your door.

Delicious welsh lamb!
Very pleased with the quality of the meat, there were good communications keeping me aware of when the delivery would take place. Upon arrival, Some packs were slightly smaller than the sizes listed on the website, but others were slightly larger, so overall I was quite happy with the contents. This is my second delivery from Tuckers and I will be back for more delicious welsh lamb in the future. Thank you.

Easy on line orders with free local delivery
Easy on line orders and if out of stock will ring you to see if you want an alternative.order from here once a month wouldn’t buy meat ,poultry anywhere else excellent service ,just waiting for the Xmas list .

Gower lamb 😋 🐑 🏴
Gower lamb 😋 we bought some while on holiday in the mumbles and have since bought it on line. Beautiful. Leaves very little fat in the pan, doesn’t leave a lamby smell in the house and tastes delicious. Delivered on time wrapped up with ice and a furry wrapper (?). Highly recommended and will buy again.

Absolutely outstanding quality of food
Absolutely outstanding quality of food. Compare this meat to super market meat and you can see the difference. When you cook the meat from tuckers it DOES NOT shrink unlike rip off super market meat. I'm also all for supporting welsh farmers which is where all of the meat i buy is sourced from. Free delivery to my door, easy to use Web site to order. I bulk buy once a month, will never go back to super market meat again.
