Tuckers is a traditional butcher, established in 1984 in Penclawdd on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The business originally supplied the local community with fresh meat, frozen goods and groceries from the shop and through a home delivery service. We couple traditional butchery practices with modern cutting styles to produce high quality cuts of Gower meat suitable for any menu. Our meat is sourced as livestock from farms on Gower and surrounding areas and carry out all our butchery from carcass form, providing full traceability from farm to your door.

I DID RING & COMPLAIN TO YOU, A FEW DAYS AFTER MY ORDER ARRIVED, YOU SHOULD ASK THE PEOPLE I COMPLAINED TO, THEY KNOW EXACTLY HOW DISGUSTED I WAS, I CANT REMEMBER THE EXACT DATE, YES, I EXPECT FRESH MEAT & NOT A FROZEN TURKEY CROWN, IT SOUNDS AS IF YOU DONT WANT TRADE/CUSTOMERS?

We know that you’ve made good use of our free local delivery service. During these very difficult times, when small independent businesses need all of the help and support that they can get, reviews like this can be damaging, unhelpful and come across as quite spiteful.

Always lovely meat
Always lovely meat. However last order the gammon was not up to standard. I phoned the shop. I was told I'd have a refund. Still waiting.

Christmas Meat Order
We collected our turkey with trimmings and some beef skirt. It was a simple proceedure
The turkey was delightful, very tasty and superbly moist after brining.
The beef skirt made fabulous korean slowed cooked spiced beef for Christmas eve. Lovely quality well packed and reliably good as always.

Beautiful chicken and beef. We will definitely get meat from there again. I did ring to say thank you but couldn’t get a reply and then unfortunately forgot. I think we are all too quick to complain these days, so thank you.

Superb
Everything arrived as stated. The quality of the produce was absolutely superb. I can't recommend Tucker's enough. I would even consider moving to make them my "local" butcher.

Great Salt Marsh lamb…
The Salt Marsh lamb tasted very sweet and mild - beautiful Xmas treat for us. It was very well packaged and arrived when they said it would by courier. Could not fault the experience
