Vodafone does not understand customer service
I moved home. The previous owners were on copper cable with home phone & internet but Vodafone would not connect me to the copper cable - even though it was still live & just needed a new number.
They said we had to go fibre & it would take about 5 weeks (Sept 20th).
Man came a few days later & sprayed lawn showing where new cable was to go - this has since washed away !
I then had email saying we would be connected 16th October - 8 weeks after we signed up!
Vodafone Taunton knew I was desperate to have an Internet connection and a landline phone - but did not suggest any solution.
I myself found out about Mobile Hotspots & got connected via WiFi at cost of £100+.
Vodafone Taunton do not know what is going on - no help at all with progress or timescale.
I still have no Phone or Internet landline connection.
I could easily have gone on to the copper cable and transferred to fibre later. - not to do so is a stupid & unhelpful policy.
NO STARS FROM ME FOR VODAFONE !

You've mentioned about initially joining on a copper cable, but due to Open Reach retiring the copper lines in 2025, we're unable to put a new customer onto a copper line. In addition to this, the activation date is dependent on engineer availability in your local area, so you will have been given the earliest possible date.
With that being said, we do acknowledge and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Ongoing poor signal…
Signed up to a 2yr deal but the network coverage in Taunton is so poor
Only get one bar signal for calls which often drop and no 4G let alone 5!!!!
And no it’s not my phone - got much better signal with O2

Amazing experience
Visited the Taunton store Vodafone today and was served by a lovely lady called Courtney. She was very helpful transferred all of our data and saved us a lot of money on our mobiles and our broadband would highly recommend to anyone looking to change provider.

Very poor. Got it very wrong
Called in on Sunday to get a sim replacement for my phone the day my father died. I asked to please get it right as I need to call family and I was told the sim would work 2 hours later! It didn’t work, the shop never registered it so it was a complete disaster! I couldn’t even do it online because the new sim wasn’t registered by the shop staff

why is ur phone signal and internet…
why is ur phone signal and internet coverage so bad in taunton especially in the town centre was it non-assistance in 2024 would of thought ur campany would of sorted this out with what u charge for ur mobile phone a mouth, so when will ur company sort this out
