Placed an order…. It never landed. Been trying to get a refund going on two weeks now. I’ve emailed several times with no response back. It's a shame they would lose a customer over $40 bucks.

They claimed they issued a refund but its been a week and still nothing. Stay far far away from this company. If they are willing to scam someone of $40 dollars it will happen with higher ticket items.

Ordered a couple weeks ago

Ordered a couple weeks ago. Delivery was fast but I probably didn't receive what I ordered from them. I ordered the mhrb hidden valley chunks and what I received is shredded but they don't sell it shredded on their website. So I don't know for sure if they gave me different stuff but can't get any contact with them. I mailed them once and try to call them multiple times. That's why I only giving them 3 stars because service isn't great.

Update: still no contact whatsoever. The product i received was also low quality, had a bad yield. To bad, really hoped I had found a good supplier of mimosa hostilis.

Responsive and reputable seller.

I ordered some seeds and from the first step to the last I was kept inform daily of the progress. They used a high quality delivery company and packaged the product with upmost care. It arrived very quickly and even with some free tea. Will buy again!

The hidden valley mhrb is the one: A++ but the quantities offered are a bit off

The hidden valley mhrb is consistently awesome in its yield and rich pigments. I have tried lots of other vendors, and nothing else has come close to their Hidden Valley MHRB. It’s top shelf.

The product is 5 stars. The only reason I knocked a star off is this: they only offer MHRB in 200g or 1kg packages. 200g is $80 and 1kg is $200. 200g at $80 is double the price of the $200 kg and a little too small for me to buy at such an inflated rate. They really need to offer 500g. I’m not the only person I know who has bitched about this. Offering 500g at $125 would have me buying a lot more often.

Jeg vil gerne give en stor tak til Walking Herbs for deres fantastiske kundeservice! For nylig havde jeg en lille uheldig situation med en forsendelse, hvor postfirmaet havde gjort min pakke væk. Walking Herbs sendte mig en ny pakke uden problemer, og jeg er virkelig taknemmelig for deres hurtige og effektive respons. Tidligere har jeg også prøvet nogle nye varer hos dem, som jeg desværre var utilfreds med. I den forbindelse sendte de mig en ny pakke og refunderede beløbet, hvilket viser, hvor dedikerede de er til deres kunder. Jeg er meget tilfreds med deres service og vil helt sikkert handle hos dem igen!

Attentive customer service turns bad experience into 5 star experience

I had ordered MHRB from this vendor about a year prior and was pleased with the quality, quickness of shipping and response time from the vendor.

I ordered again, but at the time of my order they only had “medium quality” MHRB in stock. I bought 1kg. Extraction of this dye is time consuming, and I was upset to find that the ‘medium quality’ was practically non-producing.

This is why they get 5 stars. I messaged René on Friday with my complaint. On Saturday, she responded, immediately suggesting a replacement. The replacement arrived on Wednesday and I was very pleased to find that it was their Hidden Valley variety, their most premium offering (if you’re looking around, get this—1.5% back and truly exceptional quality). The Hidden Valley mimosa is absolutely awesome and I will be ordering again.

Wakingherbs.com has very successfully turned a negative experience into an overwhelmingly positive one and has found a loyal customer in the process. Can’t beat that!

Waste of time. Avoid!

I sent Wakingherbs an email in 'June 24' enquiring about a product I was keen to buy. I also asked them why when I add a product to the basket it will say "spend £26.71" more to get free shipping, then when I add that amount, it will say I have to spend £97 more for free shipping? This appears to be a scam.

Customer service rep Rene initially replied to my email saying they will look into it, then never got back to me. I sent them two more reminder emails over time. In 'July' Rene told me that they "lost track" of their emails and would get back to me next week. It's now 'September' and still no reply.

Additionally their site is plagued with technical issues when converting to different currencies and languages. Checkout always ends up in Dutch despite making the order in English. It's annoying and ends up being a big waste of time.

I will not be purchasing from Wakingherbs, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else does either. Their website is very poor and their customer service never answer queries.

Update 04.09.24: Wakingherbs Rene emailed me saying they did not respond to my 3 emails for over 4 months because they were busy! They also said "Regarding the free shipping, it applies to the UK for orders over $150". Note that they quoted USD not GBP! Nowhere on their website does it state this. Also when I checked their website again today, with 'nothing in my basket', it states I need to spend an odd number of £26.71 for free shipping. (It has been saying that for over 4 months, nothing has changed). When I added products worth £30, it states that "shipping is free"! Obviously the information Rene is giving me is not accurate nor true.

On top of that, they still didn't answer my question about the product. This website is a joke. Avoid!

17.02.26 Update in response to Majo:

It has taking you nearly '2 years' to respond to my review and complaint which is ridiculous. The last response I received from you was that you had notified your tech team about the website issues. However, I can see from your website 17.02.26 that you still have the same technical issues. You also don't have the product I was interested in buying in stock. Nothing has changed and nothing has been resolved.

Since posting my review, I have sourced my product from a great, reliable company with excellent customer service, and I am not interested in reaching out to your company to help you improve your terrible customer service.
