Terrible Service - Avoid!
I had an absolutely awful experience with this company. There were issues right from the beginning.
1- I had booked an end-of-tenancy cleaning service at 10 am so my estate agent could complete the check-out report at 4.00 pm.
I received an email at 11 a.m. saying that cleaning had begun and was progressing well. However, this is false information, as my estate agent confirmed that the cleaning team only collected the keys at 1 p.m.
2—According to my check-out clerk, the cleaners arrived only at 4 p.m.

3—Despite my paying for a thorough cleaning, the cleaner left a lot of debris behind and didn’t clean properly. Many areas were still dirty, dirty clothes were left in the bin, drawers were not cleaned, and the list goes on.

4 - When I asked them to come back and reclean, they refused.

To make matters worse, they lost my parking permit ticket, causing more frustration. Ultimately, I had to hire another cleaner and pay an additional £160 to fix the mess they left behind. I definitely would not recommend this! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Following a recent change of events, our property management company discovered that the property had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard, despite WL claiming it was an end-of-tenancy clean. Several issues were identified, such as fingerprints, dirt in the cabinets, and an unclean fridge, just to name a few. Whilst we did a walkthrough after the cleaning, it was late at night, and we couldn't properly inspect the property. The next day, our property managers sent us photos showing the poor condition of the house. I've contacted WL multiple times within their 48-hour resolution window, but they have yet to provide a solution. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company - unless you want to end up paying twice by hiring another cleaning service after this one. Avoid.

Great experience. Had booked an end of tenancy cleaning at extremely short notice. They were not only able to match the rate but also got 2 fabulous cleaners in on a Sunday. UBI and his brother did a spectacular job. Level of detailing was second to none and haven't seen such dedication from 2 cleaners. Left very happy and would recommend the service

Would totally avoid this company.

I paid for an end of tenancy clean and was told they would arrive promptly at 10am. I arrived at my old flat at 9:45 to receive an email at 9:58 saying the cleaner would be an hour late. I paid £260 for a full clean including carpet cleaning... which they said they had done. I then had the checkout clerk confirm the carpets had not been cleaned, the washing machine was left dirty and their was significant dirt left in the toilet/bathroom. I had to get an emergency carpet cleaner in as the new tenant is due to move in soon which has cost me an extra £130. This company is totally unprofessional and will end up costing you even more money. Always go with the recommended cleaners via your agency - otherwise you will be putting money down the drain.

Exceptional service!! The booking process was really simple and easy to do.

We had 2 cleaners come to provide an end of tenancy clean, they left the house absolutely spotless. We let them into the house and left them to it, they could've cut corners but they didn't. Every item we paid to be deep cleaned was. Would highly recommend, and definately use again!

They sent two inexperienced cleaners. When they advised that they had finished I found the place half done. Seems they were anxious to get to another job! They stayed and finished the job to a reasonable standard but I would definitely not recommend them

It was a very bad experience that the area for end of tendency cleaning got all complaints from landlord.It was too disgusting and poor service that they provided and I asked for refund but got rejected. No any service guarantee at all. I will seek other legal way for the liability of misrepresentation of service.

We booked an end of tenancy clean and it was awful! The clean was not up to standard at all, complete the walk through and asked the 2 cleaners to re-cleans but really the whole flat needed redoing. The cleaners had also put all their equipment away in bin bags.
We have had our end of tenancy report from the landlord and they have stated this is not an end of tenancy clean and we now have to pay for another clean to take place. We tried contacting the company for a receipt of the clean and had to contact them numerous times over 4 days begging for a receipt. The customer service is awful. In addition, we were charged for a kitchen deep clean which did not take place and again have had to contact them many times to get a refund. They appear to be ignoring our calls. This company has now cost us double for our end of tenancy clean as it completely needs re-doing by another company that’s more capable. Shocking service! Please do not waste your morning and get scammed like we have.

Do NOT use this company. I paid £500 to WL Clean for a deep clean of a house I had just purchased. For that price I expected a really thorough, high quality clean. I popped out for a while and when I returned the two cleaners had left, despite me telling them I’d do a walk through with them when I got back. They worked only a fraction of the hours WL Clean estimated the job would take, the house was not cleaned to nearly a satisfactory standard, and they left my property completely unlocked! I took photos of the cobwebs everywhere, only partially wiped oven doors, smeary windows, etc. WL Clean acknowledged that it was not to their promised standard and offered a re-clean, but they could not offer that for 4 days. 6 days later suited me better, but then the cleaner didn’t show up at all. Car trouble apparently, so then I was offered a re-clean in another 6 days. I had people coming to stay before then, so I said I’d clean it myself and asked for a refund of only half the price. WL Clean refused, quoting their T&Cs at me, despite the fact they had clearly breached those T&Cs themselves. They should be reported to the trading standards body, as their re-clean pledge is disingenuous - they don’t offer it within 48 hours, only when they can, which is almost certainly going to be after you need it.

WL Clean we were very happy with the work they did for us friendly, trustworthy and reliable company. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to book with only a few days’ notice

The team worked non-stop & left the place immaculate, working beyond the agreed hours until THEY were happy the job was done properly (they were much fussier than me!!). Great work - thank you

Stay away from this company.
Hired them for an end of tenancy cleaning but the service was poorly done. Have been trying to contact them so a new visit can be scheduled (something they "offer" in case the work done is not satisfactory) without any luck. Keep being told that someone will contact me but still waiting after one week.
Don't go for cheap services in this matter... not worth risk losing your deposit.

I regret to say that my experience with this cleaning company was extremely unsatisfactory. Here are the specific issues:

- Quality of Service: The end-of-tenancy clean performed on the 10th of July 2024 at the property I was vacating failed to meet professional standards.
- Incomplete Work: Several areas were either not cleaned or cleaned inadequately, as evidenced by the end of tenancy independent inspection report and was not fit for purpose.
- Failure to Meet Contract Terms: The service did not meet the standards implied by their description of an 'end of tenancy clean', which should ensure a property is thoroughly cleaned for the conclusion of a tenancy. They did not comply with the statement of work they provided on their own invoice.
-Poor Value for Money: The quality of the cleaning did not justify the price charged (£320).
-Customer Service: When these issues were raised, the company was not understanding to our concerns and are unwilling to address the problems satisfactorily.
-Inflexible Policies: Their strict 48-hour inspection policy is unreasonable and does not align with standard practices or consumer rights.
-Refusal to Rectify: When offered the opportunity to return and address the issues, the company declined, citing their own policies rather than focusing on customer satisfaction.

I cannot recommend this service based on my experience. Potential customers should be aware of these issues before engaging this company for end-of-tenancy cleaning services. Presumably this will be a matter for the courts.

We hired WLC for an end of tenancy clean - seems simple right?

Day 1. The first cleaner turns up 30 mins late, having clearly been out all night. She had with her a handheld hoover about the size of a pint glass and 2 dusters.
Despite me emailing WLC 2 times in the week leading up to this clean to ensure we didn't need to provide any cleaning equipment. " No no ....we supply everything"...Remember this.

We left her to do the end of tenancy clean....

We came back 2 hours later expecting her to still be cleaning (its a 4 bed property), she had left - having barely touched a single room. She did leave a nice pile of rubbish on the stairs including her sandwich packaging.

I spent the next 2 days calling and being passed from 1 member of support staff to another, all the while I have had to pay my landlord to extend the time I was due to give the keys back. So far....i about £600 out of pocket.

If you have the misfortune of using this company, firstly - Im sorry i was too late in writing this, secondly - when you speak to one of the South African based staff - they will not be able to help you. They'll say sorry a lot though if that helps.

Moving on....

Following about a dozen calls a new cleaner was due to come in and finish the job, she came in 2 days after the initial booking.

Day 4.

The cleaner turns up without a hoover. though she had some cleaning spray which a suppose was an improvement from the hungover cleaner on day 1. She then spent 6 hours cleaning the property - without being able to hoover it, she didnt have oven cleaning equipment, so this wasn't done either. WLC advised the man with the hoover was on this way. He never turned up. Perhaps they only have one hoover across the team that they share.

Again, much like before - various attempts to talk to someone at WLC who was semi competent proved fruitless and I had to wait another 2 days for the next clean.

Day 6

The latest cleaner arrives....an hour late this time. She had a small hand luggage case with her....with no mop, another handheld hoover you would use for crumbs on a sofa....no oven cleaning equipment....

You get the picture.

I gave up at this point and ended up doing it myself along with my wife- i lost a significant amount of money - but the stress of having to deal with these morons was far greater than having to arrange a house move itself.

if you're reading this i hope its not too late for you....whatever you do, avoid like the plague - the worst service experience i've had.

I honestly would give zero stars if I could.
This is a scam, there’s no other way to put it.
Not only my place was left looking like no one actually cleaned it, but also HALF OF THE LIGHTS HAVE BEEN LEFT SWITCHED ON.
And, if that’s not bad enough, THEY LEFT A WINDOW OPEN which is not only a massive security issue, but also allowed birds to come in and POOP ALL OVER THE PLACE.
Cherry on top? The only piece of furniture that was there has been dragged against the NEWLY PAINTED wall and skirting board, leaving a mark.
These guys basically stole money from me and put my place (and the entire building) in danger and when I requested a refund they simply stopped replying.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t hire them!!!!

I recently hired “West London Clean”for a moving out cleaning service, and it was an utterly disappointing experience. The level of service provided was far below acceptable standards, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Firstly, the cleaner arrived over two and a half hours late, which threw off my entire moving schedule. Punctuality should be a basic expectation for any service, especially during the stressful process of moving out.

The customer service was extremely poor. Despite my multiple attempts to contact them, they promised to call back but never did. The cleaner told me that his partner just no show to our move out cleaning.

The attitude of the clean showed up was fine but the washing machine was poorly cleaned.

To make matters worse, when I tried to complain about the extreme lateness and the unprofessional cleaning of the washing machine, they simply said they would "improve their training." This response was dismissive and did nothing to address the immediate issues.

Overall, the lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and unprofessionalism displayed by “West London Clean” were astounding.

Moving is already a stressful process, and the inadequate cleaning service added unnecessary frustration. Save yourself the trouble and don’t use this company’s service.

This was one of the most awful experiences I’ve had with a “professional company”.
We booked for cleaners to come in and do an end of tenancy clean, they started off with not turning up and when we called they had not booked us in but had taken our money.
We then had 2 cleaners in the next day who did not understand anything we asked them to do (e.g. hoover under beds and furniture and clean skirting) and did not clean the house at all, have no idea what they were doing for 4 hours.
I ended up cleaning the entire house myself as they did not do anything, didn’t even clean the whole oven, just the racks.
Never book this company they have awful administration and organisation and should not be hired for any cleaning job.

The quality. I never found my house so clean after their cleansing service. From carpet, oven, toilets and floor, can't find anything to complaint. The staff are polite and cheerful too.
