Wickes - Dundee Avis 

We gave Jon a brief for our utility/bootroom which was not quite a kitchen, so something different for him. We had a clear idea of what we wanted but Jon brought it to life with his clever design thought process, in particular the bootroom lockers and how we could achieve the look we really wanted. Jon was super helpful and great to work with, Wickes is lucky to have him! I now can’t wait to see our room completed but the drawings Jon created are brilliant and have been great to refer to for us picking finishing touches and will be vital for us at build stage.

We were greeted by Jon when we went to look at kitchens. He showed us the various design options and explained the difference between the various worktops. When he visited our home he listened to all that we wanted in our new kitchen and also made suggestions re fittings that we hadn't thought about. Jon also suggested a slight alteration to the layout that will make a huge difference to our kitchen. It was amazing and will give us more storage space. We now hope the fitting matches the excellent design work and professionalism from Jon.

Consultant called 15 mins before the appt to confirm. The nearest wicks store is over half an hour away. When I replied she then asked if I needed catalogues. She could have called the day before or first thing that day instead of 15 minutes before. All in all poor service. If I had accepted she would have been 45 minutes late. Very unprofessional.

Jon was so helpful he did a great job of designing our bathroom if you are looking to buy a new kitchen or bathroom go to Jon at Wicks.

Thanks to Jon at wickes, Milton of Craigie, Dundee, we have the bathroom made specifically to our choice. He gave us design ideas and talked us through various options. We ended up with our final design and couldn’t be happier. Would definitely recommend Jon, and Wickes to all 🤗

As the Inverness branch had closed,as we have family in Dundee, had a look in the Dundee branch,as a result we ended up with a Wickes kitchen.As we are re furbishing a bungalow, Jon, the kitchen designer put together the kitchen we wanted, asked and explained everything in detail, helped with colours, worktops, it was brilliant. And had a lovely list and printout if what it would look like. We went away the most happy of customers but hadn't ordered as yet as we needed to verify contractors for the extension. Time has moved on, and we gave come back to Wickes but to change the colour of the kitchen, type and worktops, Jon did this with ease, and also explained various payment options. But we ended up buying it there and then, with option on order date upto 6 months . Out of all kitchen places we went to, Jon at the Wickes branch Dundee is the most outstanding through every detail and options, quality is fab, and the price is even more fab. Recommend to anyone for design choice and price.

My review is based on my service so far with Jon on the design team. If I could give 10 stars I would. He’s genuine and honest with the process and covers all basis. Jon has accommodated every bit of my craziness with the bathroom design and answered every question clearly and in a timely fashion. Excellent customer services from Wickes from Dundee. Jon our design consultant was fantastic, taking on board the way I wanted things to be but suggesting improvements (and he was right every time). Now waiting for the virtual reality visuals and looking forward to having a much more efficient and beautiful kitchen.

Recently bought bark clippings WICKES OWN BRAND poor quality really not fit for purpose. The bags contained mostly earth with a few bits of wood, some actually several inches long and sharp. Should young children be playing on my rather large area which is covered in bark chipping there is the potential of a nasty accident.

The receptionist: Ray helped reduce the stress of acquiring material that I needed and provided much needed advice.

All in all a pleasant experience.

Our 2 decade old toilet finally decided to call it quits, so we went to Wickes to find a replacement.

Stephen was a great help, helping us find the right dimensions to fit our bathroom, recommending flexi-pipes for our water line and waste pipe, and even giving us a toilet that was half off. Installing it only took us a day, great product and amazing service from the folks, thank you very much.

John Firman Dundee Wickes did a fantastic job designing our new bathroom. He listened to our needs and advised on layout. Lots of attention to detail and added storage.

The works was contracted to SR Facilities and Maintenance. Stuart and Kevin did an amazing job and went above and beyond helping out with a small delivery issue.

Would highly recommend.

I have to say usually the staff there are friendly but not today. I went in to buy paintbrushes as I needed new ones to continue the project I started 2 weeks ago (I got everything i needed from wickes and had a great in store service) today however the man on the till was walking up and down between the tills and I wasn't sure which till to go to so I asked politely and was answered "HERE" abruptly. So I went to pay and he again abruptly said "CARD PAYMENT?" Which i answered yes and proceeded to pay. He never uttered another word to me and handed me my receipt. So matching his attitude I took it and walked off. I have never done this before but surely as a customer you should be acknowledged and greeted by at least a hi or hello,
I greeted him with zero response. Do better next time rude man

Caitlin & Tony were exceptional. Wickes is lucky to have such a customer focused & helpfull employees.I urgently needed 3 door handles to complete a job (joiner visit tomorrow), I travelled 50 miles return to get them since my local store was out of stock and Dundee showed 3 available. None on display..delivery awaiting unloading from pallets. Caitlin asked manager Tony and he went out of his way to look for (& found) the required handles! Truly exceptional help and support...from both Caitlin and Tony
