Received a broken pizza oven and was pretty much told to go away and stop complaining when I reported the damage

STOP!!!!! I so wish I had come on here before ordering my pizza oven... where do I start I will just point the facts out rather than write a long story.
Owner called Ben.
Ben has terrible communication skills. All over email. ( If he comes back to you)
Pizza oven did not arrive on the two delivery times
Ben lies
Pizza oven arrived and was completely the wrong order.
It was a complete waste of time and I can back up my review with evidence.
Please please please do not make the same mistake i did. If you’ve placed an order ask for a refund ASAP you may have to threaten him with legal action. You can find out his registered address is an accountant so call them if need be but do not deal with this company/one man band!!!

You really have been warned!

Please be very aware this company cares nothing about its customers once it has your money. You can not contact.them and after service is atrocious. I purchased a thousand pounds oven which turned up the wrong colour and damaged. I have emailed them and they agreed a pot of paint and some tools. Ha ha ha. They will not respond to any form of communication. One of my worst online experiences.

I bought a pizza oven two years ago and stored it in an internal garage until we could have it installed. It was almost a year before we did due to having to pay for a crane to lift it over the house and then when the oven had only been outside less than nine months we noticed blistering of the cork/ rubber coating. I had been given a small tub of extra coating as it said minor cracks could be repaired but on further inspection the concrete was coming off in large chunks. In one place it has crumbled back to the soft insulation. As the oven is over a year old this company says it won’t honour any warranty and basically has fobbed me off without any offer of help. After complaining about this they pointed me in the direction of a company selling coatings so I could pay to get it redone and advised I remove all of the cork and use something else. My oven is clearly not fit for purpose as it has deteriorated so fast outside that it must have been faulty to begin with. I suggest anyone buying a pizza oven should think very carefully about using a company that does not stand by the product it sells. Save your money and go elsewhere. You have been warned!

Is the worst company ever ... I’m sure some people have had no problems with them or should I say Ben Walker who is the Md and the only director. You only know if someone isn't ok when something goes wrong, we all make mistakes. Ben Walker has no customer service at all, and I mean at all. Just received our pizza oven, absolutely delighted with it.
From beginning to end we have had excellent service from this company, would definitely recommend

Really disappointed in the service we received from Ben. We purchased an oven plus the brick base.
They stated 6 weeks for delivery and after that date sailed past, we chased every week (just to be ignored) and finally, after requesting a refund, thinking we'd been ripped off, they replied to our email but it was still another 3 (very quiet weeks) when out of nowhere the oven showed up (lucky we happened to just be returning home).
The base came as 3 pieces of wall with no installation instructions. It was hard to conceive how a 500kg oven would safely sit on top. As per the company's very loose guidance, we hired an engine hoist to locate the oven. Having installed a solid concrete floor, we built the brick base using mortor to hold it together. As we lowered the oven onto the base, on of the side walls crumbled and fell down and the oven crashed to the floor - luckily missing our feet, legs & arms.
We requested a refund for the base and were sent a very rude, dismissive email basically saying user error, no refunds!
The oven is great, service diabolical, base an absolute joke. Don't expect any support or help. If you can live with that, take a chance, but please do not purchase the base unless you have a death wish.

I placed the order several weeks before I wanted it to be delivered and after a little confusion regards ordering from the web site or eBay shop, mainly of my own making, my order was confirmed as was the date of delivery. I was a little concerned about some of the reviews but in the end it arrived on time, complete and undamaged. As you can see from these reviews the main observation made by many is communications and I would say that there is some element of truth to this from my experience. However Ben always replied in the end, sometime sooner that others, but I did always get a reply. If the communications could be improved then I would expect customers would receive a better overall experience and the rating reviews would improve. But "speak as you find" and I found as I have mentioned, I got what I ordered, at a good price and received delivery when promised.
On the matter of cracks appearing the manual does indeed clearly state that you need to "cure" the oven and that they will appear after curing; also that they can and should be repaired using fireproof cement and weather proof paint. Its sort of obvious to me that this would occur and that if you do have cracks, don't repair them, let it get wet over winter then of course water will penetrate the cracks, freezings, expand and make them worse. Google any home built pizza oven projects and you'll see the same thing....a bit of care and attention is all.

This has to be THE worst company ever to have to deal with and I have suggested Ben, who I have found out is the owner on these reviews, which makes it so much worse as being an owner should know how to deal with customers, go on a customer service course as his emails to me regarding a faulty oven that for the money we paid is substandard. The cracks over it, the grout falling out, the bricks inside crumbling. The cheeky emails I got from him were truly shocking and I have never been spoken to like that in all my life when I have had an issue with something I have bought. Accusing me of lying, of making up emails. I had no option but to get an appointment with Trading Standards and CAB.

Had pizza oven 6 months all cement and insulation fell out of pizza oven due to weather looks a complete mess and is ruined contacted ben the owner multiple times by email no answer or correspondence so now having to take legal action against the company .avoid this company and use somebody else

My husband ordered a pizza oven from this company, at first the communication from Ben was great as the stand we ordered was not in stock so he looked at alternatives.
We ordered an Aubergine colour and what came can only be described as hot pink. No instructions, no cover which we had ordered.
When emailing Ben to raise our concerns no reply, send photo of the pizza oven, no reply. Then we chased it up again only to be responded with that they are not in control of the colours from the manufacturer, Maybe they need to have the colours on their website as it clearly is not the colour we had in mind.
We asked about exchanges, no reply, we asked about the cover, replied with we sold out on Sunday, well surely one should have been sent to us.
Deeply deeply unsatisfied with this company and will not be recommending to anyone or order again from this company.
It's like they don't care once they have your money.

I bought top of the range stone deluxe outdoor pizza oven from this ebay website.

6-9 months after purchase, the mortar and cement and tiles are become loose and blown on one side of the dome.

My model pizza oven no longer features on his website and there have been previous complaints from other ebay buyers about the tiles and mortar falling out.

I contacted Ben at the woodfired pizza oven company and received short shrift saying page 7 of the user guide says it is advisable to cover the pizza oven in a blanket and tarp during wet periods.

I pointed out that this is only advisable and does not state that by not doing so the warranty becomes null and void!

Needless to say, I do not accept that an outdoor pizza oven has to be covered in a blanket and tarp when not used and am now forced to take legal redress and court judgement to recover the cost of the oven (I only asked for the pizza oven to be replaced as it was only 9 months old and not fit for purpose).

I have never made a complaint like this before and been forced to take legal redress and it is a shame that the Seller, Ben should understand that he and his company needs to be absolutely clear what negates the warranty of a product.

Beautiful oven. Arrived as requested on a date to coincide with a birthday. It was slightly damaged during transit, but we were sufficiently compensated and Ben was very helpful, responsive and a delight to deal with.

Pleased with what we've got. The support gave us some pointers while assembling, but truth be told then the instructions were clear enough.

High quality technology, fast dispatch and delivery. We are happy.

Very easy to use, lots of instructions too but honestly everything is self-explanatory so you most probably won't even need it.

I like the oven much but the shipping was too long.

They went great lengths to assure that the shipping wouldn't get damaged. The oven itself is just amazing and it's pure joy to cook with it.

Fast shipping + despatch. My oven was here in no time and it's really awesome! Thank you.
