I recently hired Zoa Energy Solution for the construction of my house, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! Bilal Ahmad, who oversaw the project, was absolutely outstanding. He managed every aspect of the construction with great professionalism, ensuring that all the work was done to the highest standards. From the initial planning stages to the final touches, Bilal was always available to answer questions and made sure everything stayed on track. The result is a beautifully built home that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Zoa Energy Solution for any construction needs, and a special thanks to Bilal for his excellent work!

I don't usually write reviews but this…

I don't usually write reviews but this company absolute deserves one. From the office team who handled my booking to the engineers who came out every single person was professional, polite and genuinely helpful. I had wall insulation done as well as a full boiler upgrade. The workers arrived on time, worked quietly and carefully and left the place spotless. It's not often you get both technical excellence and such fantastic customer service these days.

Awful

Awful! Damaged our property leaving holes in our air vents. Installed a boiler that isn't gas safe. Do not use this company.

Cowboy Company

I used ZOA Energy Solutions under the EC04 Government Grant Scheme for a new boiler, loft insulation and Extractor fan.

By looking at their company website they appear to be VERY professional in what they do, but unfortunately they are just a bunch of cowboys. I would STRONGLY advise anyone to AVOID using this company at any cost! which I can NOT STRESS ENOUGH!

ZOA Energy Solutions professionalism and accountability is beyond frustrating, if you're looking for more stress than it's worth then be my guest. It's unbelievable how people have even rated them with 5 stars!

I truly believe 4/5* rating is done under false accounts or done by family/friends. (easily done)... it's not rocket science (LOL).

You are strongly advised to read the negative reviews rather than postive, as they look too good to be true. 🤣

By using ZOA Energy Solutions you'll end up paying a lot more to rectify the damages caused & having it fixed at your own cost.

I am not going to get into too many details since my experience and frustration was very similar to the other's who have rated them with only 1 star.

Anyone who doesn't have knowledge on consumer rights they are strongly advised to seek help from Trading Standards who are the local authority departments, that enforce consumer protection legislation.

You can call their helpline or contact their local Trading Standards Officers who may investigate on your behalf.

Avoid, more stress than it’s worth!

Used Zoa via a government grant for a new boiler and loft insulation last year. When they arrived I honestly thought they looked like a bunch of cowboys and I immediately had doubts. They had no respect for my house and walked on my cream carpets with no shoe covering or anything to protect my carpet until after they’ve made a mess and left black stains.
They removed the thermal heating unit and left a massive dent in my wall which they didn’t tell me about.
They carried out work without informing me about all of the changes they were making and it wasn’t until later that I noticed they had installed a hideous black water pipe on the outside of my house. They told me it would be a small pipe and it wouldn’t be noticeable. I was so upset as it ruined the look of the front of my house which faced the road.
My whole house was an absolute mess by the time they had left and it took me at least 2 days to clean up after them. They used my vacuum to hoover up some of the dust but ended up clogging my filter and breaking my vacuum so that was an additional cost to me.
In the evening after dinner I noticed there was a leak under my sink so I contacted the manager. They reluctantly returned the next day to fix it and then advised me that it was not their fault and I should contact a plumber if it happened again! I pointed out to them that I did not have a leak prior to them messing around with the pipes when they installed the new boiler!!
The whole experience was so stressful for me. I have had to hire a local plumber and was told I was moments away from a major leak under my sink because they did not put the pipes back together properly. They had pointed out a number of errors that have been made. The plumber found a second leak when they removed the thermal heating unit and did not close off the exposed gas pipes, which has left water stains on my ceiling. They removed the flute from the kitchen wall but did not fill the hole in the wall properly, the plumber could poke his finger through. I asked the plumber to remove the black water pipe and transfer it to the inside wall instead, they were surprised that Zoa didn’t do this to start with which would have been less work for them and would mean they didn’t need to drill through the exterior wall! This has cost me additional expenses considering it shouldn’t have as it was done via a grant. All they care about is doing the work as quickly as possible rather than properly, taking photos as evidence of the completed work, and then being able to claim the monies back.
I have raised a complaint but surprise surprise I have had no response.
I would advise anyone not to use Zoa.

Ramazan and his team an excellent team…

Ramazan and his team an excellent team they replaced my back boiler with a new boiler . They worked constantly cleared up all their mess and left it very tidy. I definitely would recommend these gentlemen to carry out first class work

Badly fitted loft insulation

Had a new boiler fitted which was needed but lost a cupboard because boiler was much longer than the original, so had to purchase a new one and pay to get fitted.!! The main reason for only two stars was the loft insulation, not only did they not fit the insulation correctly, but left mounds of insulation in loft, it was absolutely appalling ! Yet again it has cost me a lot of money to get this rectified !!! Would not reccommend

Boiler installation and insulation

The boys did a good job, however it’s too early to write a review. I feel I’m being pressure to write a review immediately after installation.
The fact that the company insisted for beneficiary to be present while the work is going on is poor. The house was so cold for an 87 yrs old to stay indoors while all doors are open in the month of March when the weather is still very cold.

Process long and very intrusive

Process long and very intrusive to secure funding. Having a stranger ask for access to UC account and taking video of private information was uncomfortable. First fitting date was cancelled at short notice.
The lads on the day though, worked hard and were very thorough.

Edited to add: the lads themselves were great, professional, clean and knowledgable, 5* workers. Some of the processes they are bound by though because of the funding scheme are quite frankly, ridiculous. Endless photos and videos to prove that the coordinates of the job match the photo location in the original property assessment. It felt like the funders put more emphasis on getting this evidence than allowing the team to work through the job, literally constant evidencing of the work they were doing.
I’m editing the review now because the company put pressure on the lads to get the review (and photograph it!!) before they left which feels like they’re trying to force positive reviews.
Like I said, absolutely no reflection on the 5* boots on the ground, but the administrative processes are shocking
