Poor Customer Service & Manipulated Costing

One word to say, STAY AWAY. Its a BIG NO!!
Carl, failed to address concerns adequately and even provided misleading information regarding server activity.
Increased monthly charges without prior notification, which can lead to unexpected expenses, lack of transparency.
Despite being charged for services, receive limited server resources. This can affect the performance and reliability of hosted games, leading to a suboptimal gaming experience.

Bad customer service - Increased rates without telling anyone

They've repeatedly increased monthly billing without any notification. I've opened tickets about this and received terrible customer service from Carl-- he doesn't address what I'm pointing out and lied about my server being active for the last year when it wasn't being used at all despite getting charged without any receipts or notifications.

Steer clear of this hosting company unless you don't care how much you pay for limited sever resources and no customer support.

Not a fake review like they claim... UPDATE: Closed Ticket without Response

They say their reviews are targeted by fake entries, but...

Recently Palworld updated and caused dedicated servers to not work unless you add Steam DLLs to the palworld dll directory. Easy enough, I was going to add files through file browser they have.

Doesn't work. I'm like hmm alright. Downloaded WinSCP and tried to FTP. FTP connection successful. But apparently they don't let you upload any files to the filesystem I'm supposed to have access to (access denied).

Alright, I'm a patient man. Their support site says 15 minutes is a usual timeline for a ticket. I submit a ticket for help. Nobody responds, and they still haven't responded.

Yeah... not recommended. I transferred my server to another provider and zero issues. These guys are far from only one providing "unlimited" RAM and storage. Do your research and go with someone else. Since they feel like reviews are fake and promote other providers, I won't name who I transferred to. Stay away though. Stay informed gamers.

UPDATE: They closed my ticket without ever responding. Just to let everyone know :)

renting a gaming server

Some friends and I decided to rent a gaming server for Palworld, this company has excellent customer service and support. We had some questions and immediately got a response, they walked us through everything for the setup and even followed up later to ensure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend 1gserverhost.com if you want a private server for gaming.

Incredible Service and quality. Incredible people.

This is the single best server hosting company i have ever had the pleasure of using.
The people running it are amazing, they worked all day to ensure my server was running as well as possible and met every one of my needs.
The server quality is of the highest tier. Any issues i have are either a result of Palworlds "Experimental server systems" or my own internet.

I could not recommend this service enough. If you need a server, 1GS is the best choice hands down.

Totally fraud site

Ik was geschokt door dat soort gedrag... zei dat ik me moest verontschuldigen en ik zei hem dat ik je alleen maar wenste heeft mij sneller geholpen. Nu heeft Carl, de beweerde eigenaar van het bedrijf, mij geblokkeerd en mij zonder restitutie achtergelaten. Vermijd dit bedrijf alstublieft.

Disappointing Experience with Carl

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the behavior of Carl. My recent interactions with them have left me with a negative impression of the website and its management.

Firstly, the lack of professionalism displayed by Carl is unacceptable. I reached out with a concern about a technical issue on the website, expecting a prompt and courteous response. Instead, I was met with rudeness and dismissive remarks. It is disheartening to encounter such a disrespectful attitude from someone who represents the website.

Furthermore, the website owner's apparent indifference towards user concerns reflects poorly on the overall customer service of the platform. It is evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them, which is disappointing for users like myself who rely on a positive online experience.

Additionally, the unresponsiveness and unwillingness to address issues raised a serious red flag for me. A website owner should be actively engaged in addressing user concerns and improving the overall user experience.

When it comes to game servers then this company probably takes the cake. I have been in the industry for years so I have a pretty decent overview of what's going on and 1GServerHost is at the top of the list. Their customer service is also second to none and I am a very happy customer. Many thanks

Best host in both Hardware and support. Carl is a beast.

I had tried almost all of the hosts on the market for the games i host. And as soon as the servers started to pop off player wise. None of the previous hosts had stable lag free servers. I had basically given up.

Then i found 1G. They were a bit pricey but you also get hardware that no other host on the market have. Always top of the line stuff. And the support is out of this world. If there is a real issue with the servers you have , they dont quit until you are 100 % happy with the outcome.

If you want to host a server / Community and want everything to run PERFECT. This is the place! No other server host of this kind gets close.

Hands-on help from the owner.

I've been a client of 1G for exactly a year now. I have had ups and downs, mostly ups, and the downs being due to a lack of my own patience and understanding.

This isn't a large corporation with endless labor, it's mostly Carl and whoever else is behind the scenes. If given the chance Carl always will show up and play ball. We just spent several hours today troubleshooting a unique game/server issue.

I cannot say enough how outstanding the performance here is and that you get what you pay for. Running a large community on a heavily processed game, it's hard to find another host that can provide the right hardware and not some large corp trying to sell you slots.

I give Carl and 1G 10/10.

10/10 Would use again, Amazing Customer Support.

The customer support was amazing, they answered my call super late and helped me recover an old world. Would return to use their services every time after how I was treated. 10/10. The server hosting is fast and offered across the country for great connection.

Best Customer Service and Server Managment I have received to date on server renting/management!

When I first swapped over from G-Portal to 1G it was a super easy! The cost is low but it's not a red flag at all. Yes, the server I rented did have a few complications at first but that was all but a learning experience for both myself and 1GServerHost. The overall customer service I was provided was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend their servers. They truly care about their customers and shows.

My experience was incredible

My experience was incredible. Service was awesome. Shout out to 8bit and Carl in the discord, they helped me on numerous occasions as it was my first time with server space. The turn around time on tickets for anything they couldn't handle was usually within an hour or two.

I will be back for sure, Fantastic.
