Okay, so I totally had/have no idea what I'm doing. I joined their discord (they also have support chat on their website), and within a couple of minutes I had a community moderator was helping me. Since I needed help with protected account info, they contacted a staff member who jumped on within seconds. Sent me a PM and walked me through a newb tutorial. The level of patience and professionalism these people had with me. 10/10! As for the server, it's somehow running smoother than my singleplayer game. Idk how it works but damn I'm sooo glad I went with this provider. Seems like good pricing too, when compared to others. And on top of that the customer service was just phenomenal. Keep doing what you guys are doing.

The Admin personally got in a call on Discord with me and helped troubleshoot and issue for over an hour. You can't get better customer service in this market. Remarkably great Host along with the 1G Discord community to help you every step of the way.

Could not recommend this place more! Server was live minutes after payment, have had almost zero downtime, no noticeable lag due to servers, staff is quick to reply on the discord. I don't see myself using another server host.

The best cloud service provider I've worked with! 1G hosts a Valheim server for me and some friends. Server runs super fast and delivers great value for money, but what sets 1G apart is the very active discord community where users can get instant support, and the team is constantly updating us on solutions to issues caused by an early access game. Since we started using them, 1G has rolled out some awesomely convenient features like automated backups, 1-click mod installation, and more.

Don't waste time and money using anyone else.

I found 1GServerHost on a few Reddit threads when I was looking for a host for our Valheim server. I've had experience with other companies in the past for other games and while it just worked, I didn't feel totally supported. I often had to delve deep into old forum posts, or awful clunky knowledge bases to find answers to my woes. I'm not very tech savvy, so easy to use is paramount to me. Anyway, I wanted to give 1GServerHost a go for Valheim. I was blown away by the friendly customer support in Discord, and the ease of use. I've had no issues going on 2-3 weeks now, and being part of their Discord I can see how much they love and care for the user experience by building features to make cumbersome tasks far easier to do. Additionally, their support always seem "on", and friendly. For folks who just want something to work, and work well, don't pass up this company!

Decent Valheim host, no real issues. Playing on a server with 5 or 6 other people & minimal lag.

Best Valheim server I've used. I've never experienced any lag whatsoever, and the control panel is so user friendly anyone could use it!

I'm happy with the services at 1GServerHost, currently have a server hosted with them for Valheim. The admins /mods are quickly available to provide support where it is needed.

Rented a server from 1G and their service and performance is excellent.
You can customize the server for better performance if you wish, with full options for RAM, CPU speed and NVMe drives.
They also have a discord where you can ask questions and read guides on how to do things.

I never used a better server host =)

Now the facts:
Excited to try Valheim with family/friends, did some server research and saw a post on reddit from (perhaps the owner of) 1gserverhost, and took a look. Opened up a chat and asked about the server locations that were listed on the site but that *weren't* supported by Valheim. He answered they were already used up, but to try NY. Also tried to upsell me on options if I wanted fastest performance. I said I thought the default should work for 3-4 players and no lag, and he pushed me toward discord without answering. Then I said I'd rather understand if that would be ok first before joining discord. He agreed they should work. A bit weird to me, but ok.

I decide to buy a 10-slot plan, and about 10 to 15 minutes later logged on not only to discord but also my control panel that they sent me immediately via email. The control panel showed nothing about Valheim under game services. So I asked in Discord.

I captured a screen of what I was seeing (now 30 min later) with no game under my profile, and they finally said it looks like a Pre-order instead of a live server, that's why it wasn't showing. Now very confused, I went back to Chat (same guy, also the same picture on Reddit).

I sent a screenshot of my control panel and mentioned that the guys on discord said my order may have been a pre-order and then back at Chat he said, "Where did you hear that?" and I said Discord... and he said no that my service was already and had been live.

And here's where it gets interesting. He asked, "Do you want to see evidence?" I said, "I'd like to see my game in the control panel and be able to play it."

Then he launched into defense mode, that they had 3500+ customers with no problem, great server tech and that the issue was on my end.

I said in one paragraph that blaming the customer for a problem they are experiencing isn't great service.

He said that we have nothing to apologize for as it couldn't be from there end. And I said, how about apologizing for the bad experience I'm having -- now made worse by this agent (supported by screenshots).

There was more but I copy/pasted it to the discord people as a warning that this is what I'm hearing in chat, and was immediately removed from the Discord without warning. Then when I mentioned it in Chat (presumably could be the same guy) he said you were removed because you can't insite drama [yes, spelling]. I said, you really have no clue about good customer service, and that the word was incite. He said thanks for the grammar check, your refund was posted and to have a great day.

The above is a bit condensed -- because as I was screenshotting the chat, he shut it down -- but I simply could not believe that due to not seeing their game, they put it back on me, banned me from the discord, and refused to take any accountability. This is just the entry level of this company (and could be the owner doing double-duty as chat rep)...

Crappy customer service is representative of leadership ethics & style, which bleeds down to how likely it will be reliable to you as a customer. Despite anything they may say, that was my experience (supported by pics) and it shouldn't have been so blatantly invalidated. Which brings the question, what else are they ignoring? You can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig. Stay away from this oinker.
