The internet is quite good for the price and the help is very good and fast

After having abysmal connection speeds for over a week, I eventually got through to customer services last Sunday at midday. I was informed that my service would be improved in 24-48 hours and I would receive a phone call to confirm when they had rectified the issue. It is now Wednesday 3pm. The internet is worse than it was, I have received no call and am currently on hold after my 8th attempt to get through to customer services since yesterday. This is a common occurrence with 6g.

6g internet took money out of my bank account without my say so.
I was trying to pay my bill and before I received a link, Somehow they took 3 payments.
6g then told me it would take 21 days for the money to go back into my account.
The fact that they took money out of a bank account without my say so.
I can't believe they are not sorting this out straight away,so I get my refund back asap.
If they can take money out of an account real quick, then they should be able to put the money back straight away.
Especially when they admitted it was their fault.
They should also process the refund asap instead of making the person who lost money through a mistake they made.
You would think they would want to sort it out asap.

Absolutely terrible providers and phoned so many times about the speeds was getting or the internet was down, phoned today to cancel my service to be told there is an exit fee of £360, Take me to court cause there is no way on this earth I'm paying that for an exit fee. I asked which calling centre are you based he replied burnley no way was I speaking to someone on burnley not with his accent he stated where is your proof 🤔 honestly stay well away from this service

I was just checking to see if they were still in business and I'm surprised that they are. I managed eventually to get them to cancel my contract as the internet was off more than it was on and The receiver device they put on the roof fell off. When I did manage to win the fight and get them to cancel my contract, I had no internet at all for the remaining time before I switched. Two tin cans and a piece of string would be more reliable. Just to add as a follow up to your reply. Everything was as I said above. There was hardly a day went by without a problem. When I said Ofcom have a rule that if a problem is not resolved in 30 days the customer has a right to cancel the contract but 6G said they don't follow those rules and refused to end my contract. I had to fight for longer to get the cancelation and from then until I started a contract with another provider you left me with no internet connection at all. I should have pressed for compensation but I was just glad to get a working connection elsewhere

Opus Broadband. Internet connection keeps dropping. Phoned several times. Gets reset and then drops again. Seems like a problem with a "transition" site. Completely fed up. Stopping me from working. Did not have any problems previously, but having to make so many calls - which take forever to get answered - has really made me lose faith with the company. Now looking at cancelling contract and going with an alternative supplier, even if it costs more money. Oh, and asked for call backs from someone a bit more senior to explain what has been going on and yet to receive any call. Not good service. It is a shame.
Edit 18/06/25:
So, almost three months after posting my review Opus reply. Seems about right for them. In the interim I have had all my equipment replaced and, thankfully, have only had a couple of breaks in service. However, I will not be renewing my contract as I still have no faith in their service. Not interested in any more conversations with them. Just want to see out my contract and leave.

Shit Internet last month 11 days no Internet. This month 13 days no Internet I left this morning they try to get money out from my account over 200 pounds that u not gona have penny???
6g opus service is very very bad no internet very slow internet.in my home last 4 days no internet service and I complaint lot of time but response all the time same answer no engineers.
And customer service take to much time to attend the phone I am. Waiting 30 40 minutes.
Very very shit service I recommend no body choose 6g
Worst internet provider ever. Never have internet. Ran them a few times never help waste of time and money
My advice stay well away from these lot
Would ran as fast and as far away from them as possible. Nothing but problems now they want £130 for me to cancel my contract. at least D Turpin wore a mask.
Great service and interaction with customer service
I have been with 6g for over a year now and I am impressed with the speeds I get and the coverage in the house. I have had a problem with my sky q box dropping out of connection constantly. 6g spoke to the sky engineer and within minutes the issue was identified and 6g tweaked my connection and the problem was solved. I have always found 6g tech support to be really helpful and I would recommend trying 6g especially if your limited to which internet speeds you can get at your house
