Staff that treat their customers with respect and made us feel valued, were highlights of renting a car for our short holiday in Christchurch.
The cleanliness of the car was in perfect condition and the staff member ensured we were aware of our obligations.

Great communication skills by all staff. Made you feel welcome and relaxed at all times. Very honest and took time to explain anything that you were unsure of. Will use this company again in the future.

We rented a KIA Carnival for 11 days in Perth and all aspects were excellent, such as counter staffs' friendliness, the specific car model we rented, the car conditions & performance as well as flawless pick-up & return procedure, except ACE need to improve on its instruction on the shuttle service of getting from the Airport to its office for collection.

After my recent experience with Ace Rental Cars - I will never use them again and I will tell everyone I know not to use them.
I was kept waiting for an hour and forty five minutes to pick up a car at Brisbane airport. This meant I was late for a conference I was presenting at. While I appreciate that the staff were under the pump due to several staff members calling in sick. The long wait time (standing in a queue outside in the hot sun) was not acknowledged until I brought it up. There are ways to deal with customers when things go wrong. This company does not care about retaining customers.
I was given a free tank of gas and an upgrade due to being kept waiting so long. This meant I had to wait longer for the car they gave me to be cleaned. I would rather have been given the car I originally ordered and got out of that lot.
Upon returning my car to the Gold Coast airport I asked for a refund as I returned the car with over half a tank of gas. I was told this would take place upon reconciliation. Of course, it didn't. I have sent five emails to this business, initially asking for feedback about the initial extremely poor customers service, then to chase up a refund. They haven't replied to any emails or calls.

We had a great experience at ACE, from we walked in until they sent us on our way nothing was too much trouble, paperwork, directions, does and don’ts , everything with a smile. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

The whole rental process was efficient & easy - from the online booking right through until collection of the car & drop-off after my trip. The car was neat & tidy, the staff friendly & helpful, and the shuttle bus made the experience at the airport less stressful. I will definitely book with Ace Rental Cars again.

Had a very smooth experience picking up a car in Christchurch and dropping it off in Queenstown, for a total duration of 3 weeks. Initially I was a little bit concerned about the car I got (MG), just because I'm not too sure about the reliability of that brand. However, the car performed quite well over the almost 2000Km we drove, mostly highways and also mountains. It was a very pleasant surprise.

Overall, the highlights for me where:
- Very good children car seats (basically brand new). Other rental companies (Snap Rentals) have very worn down car seats, so that was a great relief for me and my wife during our holidays.
- The whole process was very smooth, from picking up the car to dropping it off and a very convenient airport shuttle.

Lovely staff and very affordable car rentals, will definitely consider renting from them again. We forgot items in the car and they were very quick to find and return them. Special shout out to the friendly and helpful shuttle bus crew also.

Deposit not refunded and the communication ceased. They are rip off.

Dealt with two ladies at Melbourne . Denice the shuttle driver and Nadia in the office . They were both terrific , better service than I’ve received from “the big brand hire companies “

Renting the car went smooth, but after 1 month I am still waiting for the refund to be paid back, Company does not reply on e-mails.

Great staff, easy process and communication

All the staff members were friendly and helpful with all my need and questions. The pickup and drop off worked really uncomplicated, so I didn't have any issues with the rental at all. Everything was completely fine!

Easy and fast pick up from airport.. We tossed up the idea of getting a rental from airport instead of Ace but glad we didnt. Shuttle bus arrived within 3min
We were on our way in no time. Highly recommended.

Very happy, helpful and knowledgeable staff in Queenstown, Christchurch and on the phone calls that were had during the time we were there, as a few of our dates had to be altered and then a problem back in Australia meant we had to return early, therefore we had to cancel the rest of the hire and change the place the MV was to be returned too, all handled with ease, a smile and no fuss. Brilliant. Thank you
