The quality of all the products are exactly what you pay for. They are long enough and made of great fabric that will not wear out. American Tall is also great with returns and exchanges if soemthing does not fit right. It is my go to store for pants and long sleeve shirts!

Updating my post, since I was finally able to get in touch with someone. I’ve received my order and the dress is absolutely perfect!

Can’t advise on the quality of their clothes because I still haven’t received the items i paid for. I received an email over 10 days ago that my items have shipped, but it’s still showing the carrier is waiting to pick up the package. So it looks like they just created a label and it’s still sitting there. It’s impossible to talk or email with someone at this company and it’s looking like I am going to have to dispute the charge on my credit card. Super disappointed, as I was really excited to try their clothes.

As a 6'6" woman, finding clothes that actually fit—and look good—has always been nearly impossible. Sleeves too short, pants hitting mid-calf, waistlines in the wrong place… I’ve dealt with it all. Then I found American Tall over four years ago, and it’s been a total game-changer.

Non-existent customer service. I ordered items, paid for expedited delivery, received a notification that the label was create, then... nothing. I reached out via email and chat and... nothing.

The AI bot couldn't provide an update and I was never connected with a person during the hours they are meant to be staffed. I am still awaiting an email response to the message sent 4 days ago. What's most frustrating is that I ordered these items for a very important occasion. That day will come and go before I hear from these scammers. I would have spent my money elsewhere had I known this is what I'd encounter.

Amazingly, I came across this site and it looks like they're doing a fine job of responding to the complaints here! Maybe I'll finally hear back from them.

This was my first experience with this company and is guaranteed to be my last.

A Very Disappointed Customer

I would give a 0 but that’s not an option. I ordered on May 3rd & paid for expedited shipping & it’s never arrived. No customer service except a robot you text with. Supposed to get back with me in 1 - 2 business days. On top of that, they say it was delivered but when I track it, it says label created awaiting package.

I am a 6'1, 150lb, 42 year-old woman, for all of my life I have struggled to find clothing that fits my body. I have very long arms and legs and as a previous athlete and now mom of 4, my body has gone through many different stages. I first found American Tall during the fall 2023 and decided to order just one long sleeve shirt and sweat pants. I was SHOCKED! The extra long sleeves were almost too long and the pants went over my feet, and I wasn't swimming in them, they were fitted and cute! I was sold! For the first time in my life I had clothes that felt like they were made for my, tall, skinny, body. Since then I have ordered many shirts, pants, rompers, dresses, sweaters, socks, workout clothes, it has become the only place I buy clothes from. I have ordered a couple things that didn't fit the way I wanted them too, and I was able to easily return them and order new items. They frequently have deals and discounts which is wonderful, I just took advantage of a 25% off deal and my new outfits will be coming in a few days! This company is amazing all the way from the business/customer service to the products themselves. I am so glad I found them and can't wait to buy clothes for my kids. None of my children will have to spend years wearing clothes that don't fit their tall bodies, like I did. Thank you so much American Tall!!!

I am so glad I found American Tall. I have searched for years for clothes that look nice and fit well. I have a few pieces from them now and I have been very satisfied with quality for all of them besides one and the team was happy to hear my feedback to improve on that specific design in the future.

I ordered some shirts after triple checking whether there would be any issues with customs. They had highlighted on multiple pages that the deliveries in North America are not subject to any additional fees, only potentially some local tax. Lo and behold, the parcel arrives in us and the price for customs is more than 200% of the price I paid.
I tried contacting customer service- online chat was useless and they don’t even have anybody monitor it. I sent an email as well- no reply. I’ve reached out to my CC company and arranged for a refund. I suggest steer away from this scam.

Update 05/15/25:
They replied to my email stating that they can reship it or issue a refund. Could be because I refused the delivery, or because my CC company has begun the process of dispute. Either way, I suggest avoiding until they sort out their customer service and duties.
Update 6/18/25:
I finally received all of my money back. Nadia has been helping me out through the whole process (which was lengthy and complicated, apparently due to the fact that I started the dispute through my CC provider and the fact that they carry out their transactions through Shopify).
I’ve decided to change my rating as it definitely is a legit website, and I believe that it was a one-off accident due to the current political climate. I’m not sure if I will risk buying stuff from them again, potentially one they have things figured out.

I absolutely love being able to order all different kinds of pants that are actually long enough! It's truly amazing! So many options and I have loved everything I've ordered--pajamas, sweats, lounge pants, jeans, slacks, shirts...
American Tall's shipping process is smooth and quick (even though I live in Asia!), and I have had a great experience with multiple orders this year.

I placed order 3 weeks ago and nothing tried contacting and very difficult no telephone only automated response. I think I have been scammed!!!

They provide clothes that actually fit us tall men. The ones that 6”5 or better!! I just need to get my orders faster. 2 weeks is to long

Ordered from them on 04/28/25. Contacted them on 05/06/25 after not seeing any movement on my order. They said they were behind. Contacted them again on 05/12/25 asking for a refund after seeing that a shipping label had been created on 05/06/25 and not seeing anything change. I was told the order was filled and they couldn't provide a refund. POOR Customer Service not offering any type of alternative solution and just suggested I go through the process of returning the items when I get them in no defined timeframe (maybe next week, maybe next month). I needed one of the items by 05/15/25 for an event. Ordered in more than enough time for the item to arrive.

Very tall person grateful for AT. Spend a lot of money here and was very happy with the results. Sometimes I didn’t like the website or customer support was taking there time but i am there to buy clothes lol
Wish refund system was a bit overworked

I am a 6'2 girl and I have not found a better clothing company for fitting me properly. American Tall delivers fantastic quality clothes made perfectly for all tall girls. Their styles are up to date and make me feel confident when I wear them out. Thank you, American Tall! <3

American Tall changed my life!!! As a tall (6'6") woman, I have always struggles with finding clothes that fit me. I found some other tall companies, but the clothes were either SOOO expensive, or they weren't comfortable. When I found American Tall, I felt seen and understood. I was able to buy clothes that actually fit and were extremely comfortable. I became an ambassador for this company because I don't want other tall people to feel the way I did before American Tall. I want to help them find this brand and feel comfortable and confident in what they are wearing. THANK YOU SO MUCH AMERICAN TALL!!!

I have been ordering with American Tall for a few years now. I bought multiple items and as someone that is 6'9, I am thrilled that i can actually buy jackets from them that are not just sport or ski jackets. Some had details that were not for me but return options were easy enough. A forever customer and looking forward to more orders in the future.

I have 8 pairs of pants from American Tall and I’m in love with each of them. I even have 3 matching pajama sets that touch the floor and I’m 5’9!! That just the Tall length.. not even the extra tall .

The slacks and trousers have amazing stretch! Without any gapping due to the waistband .

The jeans are amazzzzing!!! I have 3 pairs! They are long, are real demon and even have stretch as well! You legit cannot go wrong. Even if you have to take in the waist depending on your body type…this brand has changed the game for me and my wardrobe !!

Mixed experience. The website is a nightmare to navigate- especially on a mobile device. Initiating & submitting returns-ditto.
But the clothes are definitely cut for talls and some of the styles are super cute. However there seems to be quite a jump between sizes (L vs. XL) A recommendation is to style clothing in such a way that alterations don’t involve pockets or can be accomplished with simple straight seams. Color palette (shell pink, midnight, slate blue) are beautiful.
The maxi jersey dress with pockets was a “final sale”, perfect for an attractive lounge-at-home super comfy yet feminine option-BUT the garment had an obnoxious & strong odor that was impossible to remove (multiple washings) Unsure if odor was the result of dyes used or the fabric or the factory- but I had to throw it out.
Definitely positive to have clothing long enough and in the right proportion for a tall woman (165 lbs, 6 ‘). All in all, I’ll absolutely give them another try. Especially now that I’ve narrowed in on their sizes and expected fit for my body.

Very poor customer service. Only a bit that did not recognize the order number. I was charged and had a confirmation of my order which I did not receive. When I contacted them to clarify the status of my order they just canceled it and said the product was sold out. I looked and it is still available online at a higher price point.

I may have dodged a bullet, since then my family has reported that their clothes were poorly made from cheap fabric.
