Animal Microchips is the leading provider of microchips in the UK. We supply chips to implanters, vets and owners. Our chips are high quality, ensuring you always have the tools to do your job. We also have a secure, DEFRA compliant database, where we store pet owner details. If an animal is lost or stolen, chips are scanned and microchip databases are contacted to reunite the pet. Breeders will chip an animal but this is not registering your pet. It is a legal requirement to keep your details up to date as a pet owner.

Very Professional Service....
I phoned Animal Microchips for some guidance as I had been informed by a third party that I had registered my pet's microchip with a fraudulent company who were not DEFRA compliant and was scammed out of £21, I spoke to Ryan who was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, he gave me some great advice and registered my pets microchip hassle free whilst on the call, he was very reassuring! Great service totally recommend them!

Not ideal for peace of mind
The microchip does not show up as registered in my account despite being told otherwise. - Still not resolved.
Experienced long wait times on email to receive a chip certificate with completely incorrect details. Would appreciate someone getting in contact with me.
Only bonus is they are friendly on the phone.

I was transferring one of my dogs chips…
I was transferring one of my dogs chips from another company. Animal Microchips made that process so easy.
I have recently moved house so duly changed my address for my older dog who is registered here, when I tried to change my address for my other dog registered with a different company I found that I had to pay a minimum of £10 a year! I didn't choose that company and was totally unaware that I could have changed it over when I had her chipped, and the details to have the option to change were so far embedded in their website that I missed it. Animal Microchips were extremely helpful in resolving this for me. One happy customer

Incorrect transfer of keepership!
Had our pup 18 months. When we got him we registered his chip, which was easy enough.
However, I've now had emails saying his keepership has been transferred!? WHAT!!??
Very worried now about who my pup is seemingly registered to as he's still with me and always will be!

Our puppy was advertised as chipped and…
Our puppy was advertised as chipped and ready to register only to find out it’s a further £24 to register. This is complete nonsense and a dishonest way to offer chipping. Out of spite I will be going to the vet to get a different chip or chip removal.
This is not the way to offer services. While it isn’t directly the companies fault they know this is dishonest.
Change your methods!!

While some databases impose charges for microchips, Animal Microchips distinguishes itself by providing its microchips completely free of charge, with no additional postage costs. Additionally, while pricing ranges may differ among databases to register a pet, it's crucial to acknowledge that various pricing structures offer distinct benefits to pet owners.
By charging a fee for pet registration, a DEFRA-compliant microchip database can ensure sustainable and high-quality services for pet owners and contribute to the responsible management of re-unification, pet identification and keepership records.

We got our new puppy flo-rida and we needed to change the microchip over i spoke to a lovely lady on the phone and she changed it over for us,she was really quick and very helpful!!!
