Your service people have always been…
Your service people have always been good. I don’t like the company’s procedures. I have repeatedly asked for a paper receipt and have been told you’re only going by text. The email receipt doesn’t even list the amount charged! I’m looking into other companies particularly since your rates may be increasing.

This was the fourth repeat visit to…
This was the fourth repeat visit to deliver plug in flying bug traps. Again the technician showed up without the items (3total). Please read my service file.
I have been a premium customer and as part of my calls to service center they reviewed my billing rate and changed it $129/ month. With this last technician visit set up manager at our local service center after asking for a credit. He instead changed my service to a lower level for $119. I do not understand how hard it is to deliver plug in bug traps.

Great Customer Service
Customer service is very responsive and the technicians are easy to communicate with on the day of service, even if you're not at home when they arrive. We've had a real problem with wasp nests in our eves and while other pest control companies knocked them down, Aptive has been able to treat so that they do not immediately come back and just rebuild their nests.

The guy doing the application did a great job, however, he couldn't spray the far side of the house where we are finding a few mico ants.
I have talked to my neighbor and there is no problem with him spraying that side of the house.

Most of your people I would give 5 stars to. This last one, not so much. She said she treated for spiders and ants but I have old spider webs as well as new all over yard and outdoor furniture. Additionally, I used your text to inform you that this service should have been rescheduled as you came a week prior and yet you didn't reschedule appointment so I was charged and didn't get great service---this time.

Miguel is the absolute best! Always communicates and listens to what is going on in the yard. We live in a high pest area and he always solves our problems!! We also have a dog and he is great with him and careful with the gates. Highly recommend. 8/6/25

CARELESS - POISONED OUR PUP
Our dog was poisoned because of this company's negligence.
We trusted Aptive Environmental to safely handle rodent control at our home. Instead, their technician left Selontra poison directly on the ground, even after I personally showed him where the secure traps are.
Later that same day, our sweet boy Gus found it... and our nightmare began.
We rushed him to the ER. He's endured days of agonizing treatment. He could've died. The emotional toll this has taken on our family--especially our kids--is something we'll never forget.
We provided photos, vet records, and even confirmation from the ASPCA Poison Control Unit showing exactly what Gus ingested--and still, Active Environmental refuses to take responsibility. No apology. No accountability. Nothing.
If you have pets or children, please do not let this company near your home. We are heartbroken, and we're sharing our story to protect others from going through what we did.

Honestly I think communication was a real factor. From start up to finish the communication has been off. We agreed on one service and received different as well as pricing. In the end we decided to cancel our services with this company after our first month due to misrepresenting what we were offered to what was actually received.
