Assistive Bathing Five Star
We needed a new shower and I thought an assisted shower would be great for my husband who had two strokes last year. I searched online and selected three companies, assistive Bathing were by far the best. Billy visited us first and brought samples with him, which really helped us choose Assistive Bathing. Alan the surveyor came three weeks later. He did a really good job and explained everything that would happen next to us. We got a call from the office to say the fitting would be carried out at the end of September beginning of October as they were so busy, unless we were available in five days time! We snapped that up. Steve the fitter turned up on the first day and worked really hard. He was very friendly and chatty, which my husband loved! Salome in the office kept in touch during the visit to make sure things were going okay. Steve came back on the second day and completed the installation! He gave us a demonstration and suggested we leave using the shower for one day. I used it two days later and my husband the following day. He used the fold down seat and we found it very useful. Sharon telephoned us from the office to make sure we were happy with everything, which we are and can thoroughly recommend Assistive Bathing.

What a wonderful experience from start to completion. Surveyors measured and explained everything that would happen on the start date it was done with military action. Young Alex who looked after me was friendly courteous and explained everything. He worked so hard all day he even hoovered in the bathroom. I will recommend his service to all. Thank you. After the first visit, I was looking forward to the installation of the bath & shower which started on Mon 20th July. It is now all finished and Jack the installer was amazing from start to finish. He listened to what I needed, and considered all aspects of the job, was very aware of everything. His workmanship is excellent & everything was done to the highest standard. He went above and beyond.

Everything was explained and followed…
Everything was explained and followed up at each step.installation was straightforward clean and tidy. All the rubbish was collected after the installation within a couple of days and support at each stage. Overall I now have a fabulous bathroom.

Bathroom worries washed away !
Having a new bathroom installed is daunting to say the least, however everyone at Assistive Bathing was so helpful and the job was completed within 5 days.
Our thanks go out to Sandra in the Admin team, Craig who helped us whilst doing the survey so everything was suitable and ordered and the electrician who worked out the wiring nightmare in our house ! Our heartfelt thanks goes to Corey whose hard work on his own during the installation, (especially in the hot weather) deserves a special mention.
Those mentioned all helped to ensure that this job was completed quickly. End result - we love our new bathroom !

First class service from original enquiry to completion by superb fitter Warren Jones. Staff kept in regular contact throughout the process and were always helpful and polite. Our fitter Warren was prompt, polite and a first class fitter. Nothing was too much trouble for Warren and everything was done to ensure we, as the customers were happy through each stage of the fitting of our walk-in bath and shower. We Would highly recommend Assistive Bathing and "Warren The Welsh Wizard" in particular. The whole project has been completed using top standard products.

Warren the 'Welsh Wizard'
Warren the 'Welsh Wizard' - amazing!
Unfortunately, the day before install was due to start, my husband was admitted to hospital and very unwell. Warren ensured that any issues he came across were explained to me and dealt with quickly, without any fuss and he worked to find a solution for everything. Nothing was too much trouble for Warren and this really helped me at a very distressing time, nevermind the upheaval of having a new bathroom fitted.
Wonderful sense of humour and some amazing stories of how tea with milk and half a sugar can help with certain 'thirsty work' jobs! A true asset to Assistive Bathing - when things go wrong, Warren the 'Welsh Wizard' is able to sort! Warren's standard of work is second to none - the joinery and finishes were amazing. Thanks Warren - you are a star!

Not to give false offers
All the staff are polite, but too many middle men. Paying up front on a premium price 50% initially and the rest on delivery does not sit well, there is no guarantee of the work being done, you have to take their word. £12500 on a very small bathroom 1730x1875, a shower with hand rail and seat, wash basin unit, toilet, extractor, panel walling and flooring. Nor do you get a complete breakdown, which you should.
The advertising is misleading and probably against trading standards, eg 20% sale discount, when there is none on the goods/installation.
The 20% discount applied is for the vat for a qualifying disability and therefore no sale.
Prior to my installation the bath, electric shower, hand wash basin plus pedastal and tiles were all removed, also some pipework, which needed sorting out as a mix of lead, copper and plastic. This was advised by email but not acknowledged. Something on the list the installers didn't have to do. It's sad it did not include painting the door or door frame as it doesn't look finished. The shower leaked the 1st time it was used, has now been done. Therefore cannot justify more stars.

Excellent experience with this company
From start to finish everything went without a hitch. Appointments were agreed & adhered to. The adviser who came out offered good advice, without being pushy & I was happy to sign up with this company. Craig, the technical surveyor, did a thorough job of checking everything was in order. Warren, the fitter, arrived at 7.50 am & started by covering the carpeted stairs with a roll of heavy duty protective plastic. The goods were delivered at 9.00 am & by 9.10 the old bath was outside. The electrician arrived at 9.40 & both he & Warren worked without a break until they had finished the job. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Excellent new Walk in Shower
I am very happy I decided to get a new Walk in Shower in place of the Bath. The job was completed on time with the minimum of fuss. The Installer / Plumber Warren was a true master of his trade with excellent workmanship throughout, I couldn't be happier with the job he has done. The customer service from initial survey through to job completion after the rubbish removal cannot be faulted either. I would definitely recommend Assistive Bathing to fit a Walk in Shower!
