I ordered two boxes of six Umrah Mubarak cupcakes from Cake Inn MK, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.

When I arrived to collect my order, I waited around 15 minutes to be served, only to be given one box. When I asked about the second box, I was told that only one set had been made, despite my order clearly being for two. I was then asked to come back 15–20 minutes later to collect the second box.

When I finally received the order, the quality of both boxes was unacceptable. The toppers had been cut extremely unevenly and were bumpy and rippled rather than smooth and presentable. They looked poorly finished and not suitable for the occasion.

I raised my concerns at the time, but by then I had already been waiting and it was getting very late, so I had no choice but to leave with the cupcakes as they were.

I have photographs showing the condition of both boxes. Ive emailed and requested a full refund because the quality was simply not acceptable for something I had specifically paid for.

Very disappointed with both the service and the quality of the cupcakes.

I messed up the datevif the event and I didnt notice until 2pm on the day of the event and the cake was due to be delivered at 5.30. They took it all in their stride and despite being very busy, they still delivered an amazing cake for me to celebrate my last meeting as leader in charge of a rainbow unit! It was a lovely cake too.

Amazing experience, great customer service from Amnah and athe cakes are freshly baked. Delicious 😌

Collection time was 11.30. Arrived 11.25 and got my order 11.45(I was only waiting person in the shop)
Also cake was weird shape, cream wasn't mixed properly, could see white icing sugar in the chocolate cream. Sadly can't add picture of the cake.

For several years I have been buying cakes from your shop and have always been satisfied with the quality of your products. Unfortunately, my experience on this occasion was very disappointing.

I purchased several dessert slices: a pistachio cake, a chocolate cake, and a dessert in a cup from your location at 84 Oundle Road, Woodston, Peterborough, PE2 9PJ.

As soon as I entered the shop, I noticed a very strong smell of detergent. The smell was also present in the area where the desserts were displayed, which is very unpleasant in a place that sells food products.

Unfortunately, when I got home and tasted the desserts, they also had a strong detergent taste. As a result, I was unable to eat them.

I hope management will investigate the storage conditions and the use of cleaning products to ensure that situations like this do not happen again in the future. Thank you.

Ordered a red velvet heart shaped cake for my daughter’s 16th it was perfect, moist cake and pretty design. All ready for collection at date and time agreed and the cake maker phoned to check colour for personalisation which was great attention to detail. Thanks

From the recomendation to ordering a cake it straight forward. Cake was exellent soft and fresh.

We wanted the cake for the 25th and told them about 5 times to confirm everything. When we went to collect it, they said it wasn’t available. We had also checked the spelling 6 times because previously they had written “Daina” instead of “Dania.”

They still weren’t able to provide the cake for today, even though we had lots of guests coming over. The behaviour was disgusting and the owner was not polite at all.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Shockingly rude, completely unprofessional, and utterly unacceptable.

Avoid this place at all costs.

I love it sooo much for my birthday

I have been a regular customer at cake inn Northampton for a few years. And it has always been great.
However last Sunday I bought Chocolate sundae cup for my 11 year old niece. Sadly the cream was completely off. It was too late to call the branch so I messaged via Facebook link. I heard nothing back so I visited the branch today. It was unbelievable. The lack of customer service....non existent. I was made to feel like I was a liar. I had no receipt as I was not given one. But I have it on my transactions. There was a lot of to and fro...lots of questions...wheres your proof? Why did you wait a week to complain.
I have to be honest though they reluctantly refunded me...only after asking though...it wasn't about the money. Its actually a health and safety issue..especially when young and vulnerable are involved.
There was no apology whatsoever.
I will not be returning to Cake Inn.

Cake inn in Bedford .apart from the cake side .nothing wrong with the cake .was all good,.
We brought helium balloons from there ,soon as we got home in 10 mins the helium balloons deflated .we went bk and told the lady .she was not happy and thought we did something to them .only had em in the back seat .disappoint was she then gave us another and said to us once u step out of our shop its responsibly.she was not happy .as customer we felt we were in the wrong .we went bk home the balloons got deflated again .cut the long story short .we wont be coming bk ere again as we were treated so wrong .we also had family over for birthday .we then ended up buying it from elsewhere. . The cake was fine but i wont be coming in there again .u need to check your balloon for helium must have a bad barch .it was also my very first time going in there . Her communication with us as a customer was really bad she was very adamant. As customers as us r right

Commercial road branch. Cake wasn't fresh. Old fruits. Owner not happy to take accountability for the cream. Had to agree to disagree. Offered 10 percent refund- still haven't gotten it.

Cake Inn Milton Keynes. Avoid. I ordered a birthday cake with a 2 hour delivery window. The delivery was delayed by nearly 1 hour and the cake arrived damaged. I sent 3 emails to Cake Inn with my complaint - nobody even bothered to get back to me.

Visited the new Cake Inn in Watford today, very friendly staff, fast efficient service, would definitely use again.

I ordered a vegan chocolate cake (from Cake Inn, Oundle Road, Peterborough) for my daughter's 40th birthday. The cake was ordered on the 14th October for collection on the 15th.
I picked it up at the time I'd arranged and took it straight to the restaurant. It looked amazing with pale chocolate cream around it and lots of fresh fruit on top.
Here endeth the happy part. The cake was dry, stodgy and dense and the chocolate cream was completely tasteless. I was embarrassed to serve it to the guests and hugely disappointed for my daughter as it was a surprise. It is possibly the worst vegan cake I've ever had and it was not cheap..... I'm pretty sure I could have bought a shop made vegan cake for less than the £22 this cost.
I definitely will not be buying another cake from Cake Inn and will make sure none of my friends or family do either!

The chocolate cake cup tasted awful, it had a old/expired taste that was very strong. Like it was left for weeks. I am unhappy with the taste.
