Customer Service

I have not tried the products yet, however customer service has far exceeded my standards for a company. I called 3 separate times to not only confirm my order, but to make some adjustments. Scotty is who I talked to each time, he was patient and knowledgeable. It’s customer service like this that make calling easy and pleasant. Thank you again.

Best seafood in the DMV and probably…

Best seafood in the DMV and probably beyond! I have ordered from them multiple times. The seafood platters have been a big hit for parties. The seafood was very fresh and flavorful. The crab balls are my favorite but everything is so delicious.

IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I LITERALLY…

IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I LITERALLY WOULD!!!! I Am A food critic I came here November 12th, 2024 The service was okay but the food was HORRIBLE!!! I asked for a 5 piece jumbo STUFFED shrimp, I was told that the jumbo shrimp can and WILL be stuffed before I paid for my food, however when I received my food, the shrimp was NOT BATTERED, just thrown in the fryer, and was NOT stuffed at all!! 0/10 absolutely not.

I purchased crabs for my 25th wedding…

I purchased crabs for my 25th wedding anniversary and the crew at Cameron's amazed me by going above and beyond to make a 25 jointed crab fest that brought all the necessary nice memories of our marriage. I strongly recommend them as your to go place when life depends on it.

Consistently Amazing Blue Crabs!!!

I have ordered crabs from Cameron’s Seafood for years!! As a native Marylander now living in Chicago, I can count on them to consistently bring me a taste of home! The crabs are deliciously seasoned and warm up well. The packaging is always secure and my crabs arrive fresh!

Of all my years of ordering I’ve only had one issue and Scotty reached out to me directly and went above and beyond to resolve my issue in 30 minutes! I cannot recommend them enough!

Rockville’s Cameron Seafood Is the Best in Town!

A couple months ago, I experienced a bad situation at Cameron’s Rockville store. I am here today to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to the Owner. He was apologetic, understanding and very professional. He assured me that Camerons does not conduct business in that manner. I have not visited Camerons since the incident but after my conversation with the owner, I will gladly return. I will spread the word to my friends and family to please visit the Rockville Camerons for delicious food and great service!
I appreciate the prompt resolution and your ability to connect with me (the customer) on a personal level. Again, thanks for taking the time to respond.

Three days late? - Half-bushel of crabs.

I've ordered Crabs from Cameron's many times in the past, without incident. I decided to order a half-bushel for a Saturday Birthday gathering. I ordered a half-bushel of blue-crabs for Friday, Nov. 1st. delivery. Friday came and went and I could see that they were at the UPS Facility in Portland, on Oct. 31st. They spent the next 32 hrs. in the Portland UPS facility, before being shipped to my town early on Nov. 2nd. Did they deliver on the 2nd? Nope, they're currently aging/rotting at the UPS facility until, what I presume, will be a Monday, 11/4, delivery. I've had food-poisoning from bad crabs before (not Cameron's), so I clearly won't be eating these, assuming they arrive on Monday. There is another company I use, on occasion, so I'll use them exclusively, from now on.

I'm so sorry that your order was delayed by UPS. I can appreciate how disappointing this must have been for you and your guests considering it was intended to be served for a birthday dinner.

I can assure you that we did all in our power to have the order delivered on the scheduled date but we have to put our trust in UPS to deliver our packages on time and in this case they’ve let us both down.

Unfortunately, when a weekday delivery shipped with the Next Day or 2-Day service is delayed they do not automatically upgrade it for Saturday delivery since they charge extra for this service. By the time it became clear that the order would not make it in time it was too late to request an upgrade.

As I mentioned in our email conversation, I did go ahead and issue you a full refund for the order and we'll also be sure to file an official complaint with UPS about the mishandling of your delivery.

Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused by this delay. I hope you'll consider giving us another shot in the future as this type of incident is definitely not something we see happen very often.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any further questions or concerns.

Texas-size delicious crabs 🦀 😋

Our order for steamed crabs arrived in Texas earlier today and exceeded expectations! Everything I ordered was delicious

Everything I ordered was delicious! That fresh caught tuna was AMAZING. The crab soup just melted in my mouth. It was so creamy and buttery. The shrimp were seasoned to perfection. I can hardly wait to place my next order!

Terrible Crab Cakes Full of Sugar

The crab cakes was full of sugar. If you are a Marylander you know crab cakes are not supposed to be sweet as honey. I am a diabetic, so if you are a diabetic please don't eat these. I called the manager to let them know and the manager did not care! He did not apologize that they were too sweet, he said that is the way he fix them and he was not changing his recipe. The people who work there are all Hispanic and may not understand crab cakes are not sweet. Marylanders understand that crab cakes are not sweet. Marylanders are use to old bay on crab cakes not sugar. I wasted my money because I could not eat them, and the manager, did not offer me anything else to replace them. No customer service skills, he needs retraining. Even the cashier, a young girl understood and had the sense to apologize. He is going to lose customers with that kind of attitude. I need to file something in the courts against Cameron's Rockville store, to let him know this is a serious situation. He could kill someone and he would not care with the stank attitude. People please go to another Cameron's. Go somewhere that cares about their customers, do not waste your time or money.

Best crabs in the world

I ordered a bushel of crabs from Cameron's to cater my wedding. I left Baltimore over 20 years ago and have been dreaming of bluefin crab ever since. I was so worried about shipping crabs from Baltimore to Oregon, but I'm certainly not marking such a beautiful occasion with Dungeness crabs! I ordered from Cameron's and not only did the crabs arrive fresh and on time, but Scotty sent me a personalized message thanking me. Never in my life have I been treated so well as a customer and the crabs were everything I dreamed of. Thank you, Cameron's seafood.

Excellent soups

I'm a fan of the crabcakes but this time I decided to try the soup sampler with the intention of giving my neighbor a container. Maybe next time! I started with the gumbo and I finished that in 2 servings as a main dish. It was excellent and I will be buying the gumbo again. I placed the other 2 containers in the freezer. I can't wait to try them.

Unbelievable Seafood Company

In a world where we question the reliability and quality of everything and everyone around us. Cameron Seafood has proven to be the absolute best experience I've ever had. As a resident all my life in Belair Md and now i live in Chapel Hill NC, I rely on Cameron seafood for all my seafood needs. I am now placing my 4 order with them without hesitation. I love the quality, shipping, selection, pricing and customer service.
Cameron Seafood: I speak for the entire state of North Carolina when I say JOB WELL DONE!!!
I'm still blown away that I can get quality MD seafood 450 mile away and still feel I'm sitting in the back yard of my Belair Md home!!!!!!!!!

Do Right!

This is my second time ordering crabs from here. First time Great! Second time my male crabs were not big at all. Disappointed for what I paid. Living in the South you be looking for Great Crabs. I can’t tell other people to order if mine isn’t right. Saundra Pack

Cameron's Seafood got the order wrong…near-non-existent customer service to fix problems

Cameron's Seafood got the order wrong back in July 2024 when we ordered half a bushel of seasoned premium blue crab plus a dozen unseasoned for family members who didn't want the seasoning. Finally got them on the phone to get our refund today (TWO months later after a very frustrating effort to reach them almost weekly). Here's the problems we've been having with Cameron's Seafood for the last TWO months on this order back in July that only got resolved today. The problem --> We also ordered 2 rolls of brown paper to lay down to protect the table. We paid higher air shipping to get it to us in Hawaii where we held family reunion. The rolls of brown paper and the dozen unseasoned were missing which created a mess at our end. We called and all they offer was 8 dollars refund for the paper and $80 dollar credit for the missing crab - no refund - store credit. We've been trying for TWO months to get an order completed with them using the credit. Extremely poor / unresponsible customer service in handling customer issues. Phone calls weren't returned. Finally got through after TWO months of trying to reach them by phone. Emails to them were answered with email answer "will be happy to help -- just call us" ... which we've tried to do for TWO months about every other week. Finally reached the person... his name starts with the letter S but won't mention his full name out of respect for his privacy. After a short frustrating conversation with him about the issues, he finally offered the $80 dollars as a refund -- which is what they should have done from the beginning which tells me they were hoping that we would just drop it. I would have dropped it except for the very frustrating two months trying to reach them and resolve this. I've ordered from them about 3 times in the past. They should NOT get positive reviews just because they delivered what they were paid to deliver. A company shines when something doesn't go right and they resolve it quickly and painlessly. They didn't resolve it quickly or easily or ... they can't?? But we have to rethink using them in the future. Please know - If they get the order right, they are ok but if you run into problems there will be a BIG difference between what they promise as resolution via email exchanges and what you actually get as a resolution -- and when. I sense they only have one person working customer relations and that person probably won't respond until they sense you're getting frustrated. I think they hope you will just give up. So bottomline - pray they get your order right because their ability to resolve problems quickly is poor because I think they only have one person handling customer issues.

I can appreciate how frustrating this whole ordeal must have been for you. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and I'm afraid we fell short this time :( This is definitely not the kind of experience we want for our customers.

Typically when there is an issue with an order we try to offer several options to our customers to resolve their issue whether it be a reship, credit or a refund so I do apologize if the option of a refund was not mentioned to you when you first contacted us.

I tried my best to guide you through the credit redemption process via email with screenshots showing where to enter the credit code and where to enter the coupon code. When that was still unsuccessful, I figured the easiest way would be for you to call and have one of my colleagues take your order over the phone instead but clearly that did not go as expected.

I'll be sure to speak with management about what happened to you and how we can improve our process going forward to prevent this from happening again.

I will also go ahead and process a full refund for the order for the inconvenience.

We deeply value your business and I hope you will consider giving us another shot in the future.

The food is outstanding! Food is full full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We had the large crab cakes, shrimps the most delicious food I've eaten.
The staff are amazing, great customer service and great personality.

I was born and raised on the East Coast…

I was born and raised on the East Coast especially around the Chesapeake Bay area. So knowing blue crabs so well and how delicious they really are you long for them, especially when you're so far away from them. But you never forget that taste. I've lived in Michigan for 35 years and I never forgot that taste of the blue crab but I found it again with Cameron's seafood. I can't say enough about this company especially about Scotty. What a gentleman . I placed my first order over the phone and things didn't work out the way I thought they would have. So I figured well let me give him a call what do I got to lose. I talked to the gentleman Scotty who absolutely is amazing. I explained him my problem with the order I had received, Scotty words to me were no problem we're going to make this right. And boy did he. Not only is the seafood excellent amazing but so is the customer service. My family and I used to order from a place called The Crab place. But since I've ordered from Cameron's I'll never order from another place again. The blue crabs are on point and Scotty's customer service and personality is all heart and that's what makes Cameron's such an amazing place for seafood.
