Great service and helpful staff
Very happy with the service received from CDA staff from the initial phone call to the lovely engineer who came to fix the wine cooler! There was a long wait of about 1 month due to theirs and our availability but all was sorted within the warranty period.

Disappointed with delay, and lack of contact from repairer totally. However engineer that arrived was great and fixed our 6 month old oven in twenty minutes, even showed up with the correct part without looking at it 1st.
Exemplary Service.
The service was exemplary. Darren called when he was 50 minutes away. He was super, completed the work very quickly being very polite and pleasant.
Also assisted me by correcting the gas rings!
The complete service from my initial contact to arrange the visit to Darren's visit was excellent.
Our oven stopped working
Our oven stopped working, called the helpline... very helpful, thank you, first appointment we weren't available so rearranged to a date we would be in, got a text the day before stating the engineer would be with us between 8am and 1pm which they were, I say they as there was two engineers, Aaron and Graham both very nice and chatty, soon had the oven out, replaced the faulty part and the oven back in, great job great blokes, an easy no problem process from start to finish.

Fixed but not
Engineer came replaced a circuit board and check that it was working from a different wall socket to which the machine was to be plugged into. Her checked the congruency of that socket and not the socket it was to be plugged into long term. It subsequently stopped again as soon as an electrical load was put on it and blew the ring main circuit breaker. It’s still not fixed.

Heating element went on my oven rung Cda customer service,as it was still under warranty, spoke to a nice polite lady who arranged for someone to come out and repair it, and they did just that in no time oven back up and running again, 5 star service

1 year old fridge freezer broken and nowhere to store my medication, also smoking smell.
Not at all impressed.
My fridge freezer that I purchased just over 1 year ago, totally stopped working, over £80 of food in the bin that I could hardly afford to bin, having to wait over a week for the chap to attend, fridge is also giving off a smoky smell, I am unable to store milk, food, nothing, also unable to sleep with the loud banging. If a part is needed, guess another long wait with no food or drink....More importantly, due to my age and health, I have no way of cooling my medication, and that is seriously affecting my health....CDA couldn't care less.
When I first phoned to report it, the girl on the phone stated, "we will give you a call when we have an appointment ", I had to force the issue to get an appointment.
My Dr thinks it is disgusting, that I am going without my medication, food and drink, because of the absolutely appalling and disgusting service by CDA and their dreadful customer service. Zero stars from me - and I shall be updating. I have now lodged a formal complaint.

Appalling Aftersales and Customer Service
Our 6 year-old wine fridge stopped cooling. As it was out of warranty, I paid a pretty large fee and arranged for an engineer to come and diagnose the issue in the 17th April. Nice guy and seemed very knowledgable and he said he knew the problem and it needed to be re-gassed however, he could not do this as his re-gas rig broke 2 1/2 months earlier and CDA HO had still not replaced it. He said he’d send a note back to HO, stating it needed to be re-gassed and they’d arrange a follow-up visit. Another company - We Repair - by text a couple of days later and arranged to visit in the 20/4. On the morning of the visit the engineer called and I asked if he had the gas system. Sorry we don’t regas, says he! Just says on the job “not cooling”. I cancelled the visit and called CDA and explained how enthralled I was with their brilliant CS and could they arrange for one on their engineers to come and regas the fridge. 5th May was the earliest. It gets better and better. So another morning off work and CDA call me at 09.10 today to say sorry, but the engineer had called in sick so would I like to cancel the service and get a refund! I said no, what I want is a really urgent appointment, with a CDA engineer who has the regas rig and can fix the fridge and what are they going to do to compensate me for the time off and inconvenience. They’ve agreed a 50% refund. Well I await their visit (from the original CDA engineer!) on Friday and I’ll update this review. But right now, they deserve 0 stars.

So the engineer arrived at 0920 and said he has another regass machine. Comes in - doesn’t have overshoes or removes his boots - and chops off the pipe to attach the machine. He then chops the end off a threadlok bottle, which spits out product straight on the back of the sofa. I get a wet cloth and it won’t come off. “The office will sort that out” he says. He the proceeds to try to regass the fridge.
At 09.32 he says “oh… I’ve got a meeting” and sets the machine running, joins the meeting and disappears… for 27mins! The machine runs for about 10 mins then stops with a tone. He comes back, fiddles with the machine, huffing and puffing and it’s starting and stopping and buzzing and he says - telling this - “what does that mean?!” So he
messes around a bit more, turns the fridge on and says “Sorry, but it’s come back saying it’s got a leak, so that’s that matey; can’t repair that”. He said he’ll send a photo of the stain, tell them it can’t be fixed and they’ll sort it out. And off he went with another apology. So after 3 call outs, they send the original engineer with a regass machine which he clearly doesn’t know how to
use and he condemns it. Brilliant. Guess who I’m calling….
