I had a few questions before our holiday. The staff were so friendly & helpful & went above and beyond to answer my questions.

First time booking a holiday property with Crabtree & Crabtree and found them to be excellent. Extremely quick and responsive to any queries, brilliant!

We went for a reputable company to book our holiday cottage as we knew that they would only have cottages decorated to the highest standard - we weren't disappointed. We had a couple of problems with the Wi-Fi and a broken hoover in the cottage when we arrived but a quick email to Crabtree and everything got resolved very efficiently. The cottage was just as described, well maintained and decorated to a high level

We stayed at Little Archer in Gullane for four nights and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The apartment was extremely welcoming and very clean. It was bigger than we imagined but perfect for a couple. Kirsty, the owner was on hand for any questions and it was right in the middle of the village with private parking and access to all the amenities. Thoroughly recommend Little Archer, thank you.

I stayed at Wren cottage in Bamburgh, owned by Bamburgh Castle. The lounge was covered in dog hair and the place smelt damp. I reported it, expecting it to be fixed. The cleaners came back in and removed most but not all of the dog hair but nothing was done about the smell. I went searching an found substantial green mould in the attached outbuilding. I suspect it was in the house too given the smell but the chimney's are boarded so you can't see. I emailed them most days, they just replied telling me I was imagining it, despite the photos of the green mould. Occasionally their emails were terse.
I've been trying to use local and smaller business but I'm going to stick with Airbnb and booking.com, they won't automatically protect their owners and will take serious complaints, seriously. Mould can be a hazard for your health! If the property you rent from Crabtree and Crabtree has no issues all will be fine, but is it worth the risk?

We have rented holiday lets with Crabtree about 14 times now. We keep on going back as the houses are good quality, well equipped and comfortable. Crabtree provide a good service and the booking process is easy. We like that they are responsive and helpful.

Easy to navigate website, showing really nice properties. Stable View was exactly as described. This is the second time staying at one of your properties and we would definitely use you again. I also spoke to a lady on the phone when I booked and she was super helpful

Very efficient and polite staff. We had an issue regarding the property we were originally going to stay at. We had to change accommodation about 2 months before we were due to go on holiday. The lovely staff offered to help us find an alternative property. I couldn't have asked for any more from them. Would definitely use again.
