Still waiting for a refund after being told I would get the transfer into my account on 21st June. Still no refund as of 20th July. They have had my funds since 29th May no goods or refund.

Whilst i eventually received the phone…
Whilst I eventually received the phone I ordered, the process was horrendous. Repeatedly I did not receive the follow-up phone calls I had been faithfully promised - in fact they never called me back ever.
Their customer services hung up on me at least four times and my calls went entirely unanswered.
I was exceptionally polite, but at the same time very determined to get answers about when I'll receive the correct phone - and refund for the return postage of the incorrect model they first issued to me. On many phone calls I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager as it wasn't fair to leave the customer services in a position where they could not give any service. I had to start to refuse their offers that they would phone back, because they never did.
So, would I buy from them again? No. The stress was unnecessary and their treatment of me, as their customer was shameful.

If I could rate this 'company' at 0 stars I would. 'Shambolic' doesn't even begin to describe their service.
First of all, the tv we ordered was nearly 3 weeks late, we were constantly emailed with new time updates, with no good reason as to why it was delayed. The day it was due to arrive, I had booked a day off work, for which I'm not paid, to then be told at the 11th hour (after having called and emailed that day 9 times to confirm the time as no one would answer) that the tv wouldn't be dispatched as they 'weren't happy with the quality of the item.' This company is an absolute nightmare - you can only call between 11am and 4pm (in between which they have a TWO HOUR BREAK - they appear to do no damn work so what they need two hours for I'll never know), you get no response via email, and every person you talk to on the phone says "I'll pass your details on to our customer service team and they will get back to you." There's no customer service number and no one from their team has ever called me - probably because it doesn't exist and they don't know what customer service is.

Refund nightmare, if only I had of known who they are
Very similar experiences when it comes to getting a refund. Ordered and cancelled on the same day, the 26th June, sent across bank details same day then apparently policy had changed, so no refund via bank details but by cheque. Apparently never received my bank details, even though they can't use them for refund anyways, guess what, it's the 16th July and still no refund, way past 14 days. So now progressing with small claims court procedures advised by a friend who is a solicitor, so unnecessary but it's what you have to do to get your money back...keep you posted.

Well to add to the saga, guess what, still no cheque even though apparently from DC,s reply below it's been sent out, wonder when it was sent..hmm..
23rd today, still no cheque? Seriously, anyone thinking of going near this company, take it from me, stay well away, so dodgey it's unbelievable.
24th July, finally received cheque in the post, with bated breathe I deposited it and surprisingly it cleared with no issues a few days later. Never again..

Seems that the company has changed it's name to 'BuyTvDirect' - I was going to buy from the company but after reading the reviews and seeing a name change I'm very wary of this. Decided to pay the extra and buy from a proper retailer. I'd suggest people do the same.
I have bought a Tv
I have bought a Tv and the tv has several failures. It doesn’t connect to the network, it doesn’t connect to Bluetooth, one of the remote controls isn’t functioning,... Just after a few hours of receiving it, I’ve contacted the company, by email, for a reimbursement. They didn’t reply to my email, so I kept sending emails and calling them. The person who answers the calls always says that we are going to be contacted to arranje a collection and a reimbursement, but the only email that I’ve had from them was to provide pictures with the fail. I’ve provided pictures, but then they didn’t replied to that.
I’m tired of them not being efficient solving this situation, it’s been 2 weeks already. They aren’t complying with their terms and conditions.

This has been the worst company ever that i have had to deal with. I can actually cry, on 6 June 18 i purchased a samsung s9 plus mobile in Grade New which in their terms is like new and you get all the accessories with it. I made a BACS tranafer of £539.99 because i was offered a further 50% discount. I had 14 days to return the phone. I received my phone on 13 June 18 and when i came from work at 6pm i opened the package to only learn there was no accessories in the box, the phone was in poor condition had scratches on screen and a black stain on the back, i was so disappointed that i didn't even turn the device on and without a charger that would not have been possible any way. I packed the phone and following day 14 june 18 first thing in the morning at approx 8:30am i went to post office and paid £7.30 special delivery postage to return the mobile. On 15 june 18 i logged on royal mail.website to find they received the device as it was signed for. After waiting few days and chasing a response on 18 June 18 i get a email from the company stating and accusing me of using the mobile and entering my account information and due to this they will deduct £50 from my refund payment of £539.99. I was so shocked to learn this as i never turned the device on and if i had no intension of keeping it why would i be so stupid to turn the device On and enter my account information and then not delete and send the phone back?. They said they check all their devices and do factory settings on them Before they post them out, well either they forgot to do this with my device or they are making a excuses to take my money off me and still not provide evidence to me and told me they have sold the mobile to.someone else and will not provide me with evidence and when they received the device it was in perfect condition but apparantly because i used it in the space of 13 june 18 after 6pm to 8am on 14 june 18 and left my so called account details, they will deduct £50 from my full refund. Out of curosity i checked their website terms & conditions and No where on the website does it state if you use a device, they will deduct £50 and no matrix to show this. I then sent several emails to their customer service and i stopped receiving replies, when i called the agents would be rude, argue back and unhelpful and would give me conflicting information. I sent them pictures of the device to show the condition it came in as it was not Grade New, empty box no accessories and up until now they have not told me why i did not receive a Grade New device and why they didn't send me accessories. i requested them to provide me with evidence of what account information they found on the device and up until this day i have been fobbed off and not received any evidence. Then i was told i will receive my refund via cheque within 14 days and still nothing was received. Then i rang to be told they no longer issue refunds by cheque and instead will refund me £489.99 (539.99 - £50.00) by BACS transfer. However, they still sent me a cheque for £489.99. They asked me for my bank details and i gave them via emails. I was then told when i get my refund cheque they will send the evidence to me and i can challenge it. Then on 7 july 18 finally i got my partial refund cheque of £489.99. On 9 july 18 i deposited the cheque at my bank as i desperately needed the money. Then on 13 July 18 i find the cheque bounced and returned unpaid by their bank. They cancelled the cheque and my bank returned their cheque to me. I can actually cry, as they are punishing me so much,causing me so much stress and grief and i desperately need my full refund us well as the postage i paid £7.30. I dare ring them as their agents are so rude, argumentative and call me a liar. No one listens, i get fobbed off, no one replies properly via emails. I am suffering since 06 June 18, i wish i never purchased from them. I didn't want to leave a negative feedback but i have had enough. im suffering emotionally because of them, i did everything they asked me and now they are not refunding me my money and are deducting £50 for no reason and are not refunding the postage to me. I have no choice but to take further action against them and take this matter to the small claims court, if they don't refund me my money. It is not fair how they treat the customers. worst experience ever, had they refunded me my full money and on time i was honestly gonna leave them good feedback but their agents tell me to do what i want. I would like the directors to take this matter serious and refund me my full money £589.99 plus postage cost as item was not described as it was and on thier website in their terms and conditions it states they will refund postage up to £9.99 so i ask for my £7.30 us well. I will keep everyone posted as what happens next and if i get taken seriously or not and if in the next 7 days i get my refund or not. I can't believe it, its mid july 18 and I'm still waiting for my refund and i don't have the energy or time to ring and speak to their agents who give me grief and are rude. If i get my full refund, i will remove my negative review about them and honestly leave positive feedback.

Oh dear, I've just discovered I've entered a £1,440.00 lucky dip.
Oh dear, I've just discovered that buying a returned/ex-display TV is a lucky dip and DC aren't interested in this unsatisfied customer.
75" TV wasn't that much cheaper than a brand new one but had a badly scratched screen that DC showed no interest in seeing and just told me I had to expect it as returns & ex-displays are their business.
Okay, £1,440.00 lesson learned, I promise I won't do it again.
I won't bother trying any further contact with you as I have better things to do with my life than listening to you trying to justify selling me a defective TV.
Thank you for your reply. However it came over as being a little aggressive. If you don't like to be criticised you should negate it by doing everything reasonable within your power to ensure the TV reaches the customer in the same condition it was graded in. Also your valuation of a brand new, unmarked, guaranteed, UE75MU7000 TV makes me think you've been looking in Harrods shop window. You need to check out the web not the 'stores'. I checked the web and can confirm I made a saving of around £150.00. Let this be an end to it as I have no further interest in you or the TVs you sell.

Bought a TV from them. When it arrived, there was a black mark in the middle of the screen so emailed them about returning. Apparently that was 'acceptable' and therefore didn't warrant a swap. I then had to send it back (nearly £40 with insurance) and although they refunded the TV cost, they ignored my emails about refunding the return costs due to faulty goods. No-one was ever around to pick up the calls and when they did answer and promised a callback...none came! Would NEVER recommend this company. Opening a case with Trading Standards.

Poor experience receiving refund
Please read on to learn more about my experience with DCDigitalTv.co.uk
They have been the most frustrating company to deal with. I had issues getting a refund from them for an order that was cancelled before it had even been shipped.
On 21st june they accepted my cancellation request for an order from 14th June that hadnt shipped and advised via email that they would provide a refund within 14 days via bank transfer.
No refund was received by 5th July so I attempted to contact via phone and email. On the rare occasion I got through on the phone I was only able to speak to reception. They will not pass calls onto the relevant department but advised they would ask someone to call me back. No call back received.
When I emailed I received automated response saying a reply would be expected in 24-48 hours. Follow up emails to my requests would then apologize and advise that a cheque would be posted.
I continued to question them why no update was received on why my refund was over the agreed 14days and not via the agreed bank transfer method. No replies would be received to these questions.
Further calls to reception (twice a day) uncovered that they would only provide refund by cheque but they did not confirm when this would be sent. I continued to push for a bank transfer (as is my right as this was the original method of payment) but an email from their finance team advised that their bank advised them against this.
In order to resolve the matter I sent a 'letter in advance of small claims' (template can be found on 'which' uk site) and posted updates of my experience on Trustpilot in an effort to gain their attention as no conformation of bank transfer or cheque being posted was received and the case was now 7 days over the agreed 14 day refund period.
This appeared to work as I received a call on 12th july from a senior person in the company. I'll not go into detail of what was discussed on the call as it was heated at times and not a pleasant experience.
They started by saying they had done nothing wrong and that the refund was processed within 14 days, and a cheque had been posted 2 days ago. I pointed out that no confirmation had been provided, that even if it had been posted 2days ago that it was still outside the 14 day period, and that the method was not the same as that used for payment. The person only then apologised and advised that this had been an administrative error on their part and to look out for the cheque in the post.
Within the hour a follow up email was received from the company apoloisiapo again and confirming that a bank transfer was on its way.
I'm relieved that this ordeal is now over but thought it necessary to share my experience. I hope that this is an isolated incident.
Please learn from my experience and do your research before committing to buy. If you do chose to purchase from them then be cautious about using the bank transfer option.

I have now seen other reviews suggesting we report this company to watchdog. That's what I plan to do and I encourage others to do so too.
My experience (short version);
-I purchased an unlocked phone but received a locked one.
-I contacted them to return it but they told me to take it to get unlocked myself and they will refund the cost (seemed reasonable).
-Once it was unlocked, it became clear the phone was faulty.
-I contacted them immediately and they said they would not provide a refund as it must have been tampered with when I got it unlocked!
-After a hard slog, they agreed to a refund and I returned the phone.
-That was over 2 months ago and I still don't have my refund.
- I have been chasing them constantly receiving only sporadic replies from different people who do not read the previous thread of emails.
-They don't answer the phone or call back.
- I've been around in circles about 3 times with someone going back on their word saying they won't refund, then someone else saying they will. Yet still nothing.
- Needless to say, I'm exhausted
Update:
They now point blank refuse to provide a refund.
They will not provide evidence to justify their accusation that the phone was 'tampered' with and they will not respond to :
- the fact they breach the 'sales of goods act' in sending me a locked as opposed to unlocked phone
- the fact that the phone was taken to be unlocked as a result of their explicit instructions
- the fact they had already agreed to a refund several times
Its taken me multiple attempts to post this review as they try to bring it down by any means necessary, so bear in mind that there are likely more negative experience than you can see on Trust pilot.
Avoid the distress and do NOT use DC Digital or report them if you have so we can stop this from happening.

Facts: I placed an order on a Samsung Galaxy S9 plus midnight black and paid £539.99 on the 23rd of May 2018. I never got any confirmation email for over 5 days so i decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund on the 29th of May 2018.
I filled the form and send proof of payment and i was told it will take up to 14days then i decided to wait.
On the 4th of June i got an email from DC Digital saying my order is now completed and estimated delivery date is 12/06/18. I was confused because i ask for a refund and i was told to wait for 14days, so i decided to wait and see where this was going.
Then on the 12/06/18 i got an email for DC Digital saying you have now fully be refunded with a Cheque number 101703. I was very happy then when i checked my account balance there was no refund whatsoever. I was angry and called customer service but all they said is i will get a call back which i never did. I decided to email and i got a reply from Marco saying i should send my account details so they can have it processed for me.
On the 18/06/2018 i sent my account details and again i was told it will take no more than 14days. Again i waited, then on the 7/07/2018 i got another email saying i have been fully refunded with cheque number 101867. I check my account and again no refund.
This is not right and fair. DC Digital doesn't want to refund me my hard earned money for an order i cancelled before shipping, that is a product i never saw. This has been very frustrating and hard for me, its been almost 2months since i asked for a refund and still nothing at all but just playing games with me. I didn't know businesses acted like this in the UK.
I won't advise anyone to Order from this site or do so at your own risk.
