Absolute shower of a company !

Absolute shower of a company ! Be aware! All TV ‘s are graded , not new ! Whom grades them ?? Also when it was eventually delivered it came without a stand or user manuals etc . The delivery driver called the office when he was with me whom assured me they would send me the tv stand . Turns out this was only so I would accept the delivery . Beware ! Untrustworthy , unreliable . On chasing the stand they basically told me to go away . Clearly breached our secondary verbal contract . Advise you all to go to curry’s or similar and buy new to avoid this company .

That is exactly what we sell Graded ex demo TV for a Discount. That is why there is a discount on the product.

This item was clearly sold as the TV only and you have not read what you purchased.

Never answer the phone but will contact you when you IMMEDIATELY when leave a poor review

This company has not picked up the phone or replied to voice mails all day.

They did however email me privately to ask me to change my review and post a reply on Trustpilot within this time.

VERY BAD COMPANY STAY AWAY

Sold me faulty tvs claiming no5hing wrong with them. Yet their employees acknowledged faults.
Replacement was sent with hole in the screen.
I delivered tv back to them on my own cost. They deducted from refund over £300 for usage charge and delivery. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Be very careful with this seller!

Be very careful with this seller! For more than a year we are waiting for the return of money.
We bought a TV in them. Get trash with a broken screen. After a long discussion, they offered to return their purchase. As a result, no TV, no money!!!

PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. We want to warn people against using this company - avoid at all costs. We have been through a 6 week nightmare with them. We ordered a television but chose to cancel within 14 days as per Consumer Distance Selling Act (decision based on 2 failed delivery promises, obstructive customer service and reading reviews on Trust Pilot) and whilst they acknowledged our cancellation via email we have had to wait a further 4 weeks for the refund...but that was after many emails, phone calls and threats of legal action. What ever business model they work to in order to be able to offer discounted products it does not work for the customer. I’m relieved to say we had a full refund transferred straight into our account today (their cheque bounced).
We should have checked Trust Pilot before parting with our hard earned cash as it’s clear they are a disreputable company.

Waiting over 2 months for phone

Have had a phone paid for and waiting for delivery for over 2 months now first they said phone was damaged so upgrading it but that never happened totally untrustworthy have asked for a full refund will see what happens They claim to have sent a phone out but nothing said to me will be starting small claims if nothing turns up not confident of getting phone or refund without going to court. 18/07/18 Well looks like I will have to go to court no phone no refund totally untrustworthy.

23 days still without a refund

I ordered a TV on 2nd July but immediately had a change of heart. I cancelled the order within half an hour. I paid by bank transfer but have been told it will take them up to 14 days to refund me. My order is 20799 and I wasn't concerned until I looked on trust pilot and seeing all the negative reviews. I have been emailing repeatedly with no success. I have phoned a number of times but I just get told someone will call me back, they never do. They have had my money over 3 weeks and still haven't refunded me despite the order being cancelled within 30 minutes. They've not called me back when promised and emails are getting me nowhere. I fail to see what the delay is, it isn't like there is a dispute of goods sold etc, it's a basic fund is all that's needed. I note they invest a lot of time on trust pilot. Please can my refund be processed.

Our system shows that order was cancelled off on the 13th, the refund is being processed and will be with you by the 27th as stated in Consumer Law (14 days). I will have a chase of the accounts team to get an update given to you today, please keep an eye out on your emails as we will be in touch.

Warning Do not trust this Shambolic company

Warning, I would advise everyone do not use this company.
I have never in 25 years of trading met a company so inept in everything they say and do.
I ordered a TV on Friday 22nd June. It was in stock according to their website but i'm still waiting for it. Their so called customer service is a joke, you can never get to actually talk to them. When and if you get through on the phone to reception you are told they "cannot transfer calls to customer service" Have you ever heard of a reception not being able to transfer a call to another department. They tell you they will get someone from customer service to call you back but they never ever do.
If you are lucky you get an email 2 or 3 days later giving you some crap unhelpful response.
So 2 weeks after i ordered the TV I've been told it will arrive today (i'm not holding my breath) and if someone is not here to help the driver with the TV they will not deliver it. I have had many, many TV's delivered over the years to fit for my customers and not once ever; have i been told if someone is not there to "help the driver" they will not off load it.
So in short don't trust this shambolic company.

If I could rate the service as zero

If I could rate the service as zero, I would. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Feels more like being actually robbed.
We ordered a Samsung HD tv in April. The delivery was the first “error”, when an attempt was made to deliver it a day early, but we were away. It took nearly two weeks to sort that out. Then the delivery arrived on 22nd May a day before we were going away for a long weekend, so we didn’t have time to check the product after delivery. We left it in its box and when we returned, I started to set it up, only to find
1. Some items missing from the pack and more seriously
2. A line of pixels, vertically illuminated on the screen.
So I phoned and phoned and phoned only to conclude that their “customer service call centre” is just a shielding device to keep us at bay until their 14 day deadline is expired.
I phoned from 30th May to 12th June. Every day I was told the same thing: I’ll make sure someone phoned you back either within one hour or before the end of the day. Total rubbish.
Then as I started to send emails, as did my partner, we started to get replies, with a request to take a video of the problem and email it to them.
But then I checked av reviews and this site, only to find that HUNDREDS of people have been done. Yes.
There is a “terms and conditions” on the dc Digital tv site which “must” be read before you decide to buy. How many people do that? Your product is graded - returned to another shop, passed on to dc Digital tv for resale and could be damaged. Would you buy a damaged tv?
So you are “instructed” to open your delivered product and check that it works before you sign for an accepted delivery. Not a word said by the delivery driver. He just wanted to vamoose to get to the next delivery address.
And then to top it all,
1. if you do decide that you want the product returned for refund, you are told that you must pay for this delivery by courier.
2. Numerous reports on av reviews state that a product returned to dc Digital was claimed by them to have been damaged in transit while being returned, so they will not honour the claim for refund.
I consulted Trading Standards about this and they were the ones who pointed out the “terms and conditions” and agreed with me that this is a dodgy company and they wondered why Trading Standards who enforce the law in Dorset are allowing this.
We have had over £700 taken from us by this company. I have no idea how they get away with this level of scullduggery.

I sent an enquiry which could have been managed much better

I sent an enquiry which was responded to quickly asking for more information to which I immediately replied. They didn't respond to my query which was "Can I collect as I would be in the area". Eventually got through on the phone after umpteen goes to be told collection was not possible. They could have told me this on the first email dialogue. Given the many other bad reviews this sounds like a risk to deal with these people. Such a shame as the offer looks good perhaps too good to be true. Be wary !

Not a good experience

Product not delivered.

No customer service at all.

No reply to emails.

Very hard work I made a big mistake here just hope I get my money back

Hi Matt,

As per my recent phone-call with you. You had only emailed in yesterday to request a cancellation and we do state emails can take up to 48 hours to be replied to during busier periods. I received your call back from my receptionist and called to reassure you that the order will be cancelled and that note stating it will be delivered was just automatic. I understand you felt like you were being ignored, but your first email was less than 24 hours ago.

Cancellation process (Fully refunded)

The review based on the cancellation process, no goods were received.

The reason why I am using trust pilot is basically the only way you get those people to deal with your enquiry.

30/06/2018 ordered tv , order number 20433

2/07/2018 paid with bank transfer

2/7/2018 note added estimate delivery date 11th July.

5/7/2018 cancellation request via email and phone call/call (answered by receptionist), took my request as a message.

After the review was published:

5/7/2018 14:55 email received,
"Thank you for this information, your order will now be cancelled off our system for a full refund. Thanks,"

Waiting for the refund, now.

5/7/2018 16:39 No refund received yet, an email was sent to them.

5/7/2018 17:40 no response, no refund.

06/7/2018 10:17 an email received from Dcdigital tv stating:
"Hello, a note has just been added to your order:
Your order has now been passed down to the accounts team to process your refund.
This can take up to 14 days to be refunded"

06/7/2018 11:22 logged into my account on Dcdigital tv, the previous new note added, and the refund still NOT received through the bank.

06/7/2018 15:35 the refund still NOT received, not sure why it takes up to 14 days considering it is only bank transfer!! No explanation has been given.

06/7/2018 17:21 tried to give them a call, but voice message says, customer service available Monday to Friday 11am-4pm , this is can't be right for a company that its income is completely relying on sales!!!

Now, let's be serious, of The refund has not been received by Monday, the option to contact and complain to (Trading standards Poole) is on the table, it will be the very first thing on Monday. Once that done, I will be contacting Poole news website/Facebook page and the Bournemouth echo paper, and even your local MP if required.

09/7/2018 09:45 no communication from Dcdigital, no refund.

09/7/2018 12:46 an email received from Dcdigital, that if you paid by a bank transfer, you will be getting the refund in a cheque sent to the billing address. (!!)

(Anyone who is reading the reviews on trustpilot may have noticed that on other customers reviews, Dcdigital has actually responded saying that the customers were refunded through a bank transfer)

09/7/2018 14:05 an email received from Dcdigital stating: "We do explain in our T&C's that we will refund by cheque anyone who pays by bank transfer please keep an eye out in the post for your cheque"

(I go back to Dcdigital, terms and conditions for returning goods and refunds as follows:
"(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We will make reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, in any event you will not incur any fee as a result of the reimbursement."
So not sure who to believe, Dcdigital or its t&cs?!)

10/7/2018 12:09 email received from Dcdigital stating:
"I can see your request of the refund has been already passed down to my Accounts Team on the 6th July.
If payment has been made by bank transfer, a refund will be processed and sent via cheque to the billing details on the order. It may take up to 14 days.
We will send you an email when the cheque will be posted"

11/7/2018 12:00 no cheque received, or confirmation of issuing the cheque. Not sure what is hard about writing a cheque!!!
One week to before I claim my money through the court. Looking forward to this.

Check what they have sent me today!!
They even misspelled my name!!! Remember, the order was cancelled on the 6th July.

12/7/2018 15:57 the company website has changed to buytvdirect.co.uk , spoke to them on the phone, they said it is maintenance, told them doesn't matter if the company name changed, when this get taken to court, the owners name will be included as his name was on the bank account which had the money transferred to in the first place.

For the first time, I call and got someone answering the phone straight away, and the lady was professional, shortly after that
I received 2 phone calls from Mathew, one of the directors, apologized for the inconvenience, promised a refund before the end of the day, and that's what happened. Fully refunded+ £10* towards the cost of calls.
*I never requested extra money for the inconvenience.

I have sent money across and received…

I have sent money across and received nothing to date despite emails, calls, messages. I needed a phone asap but these poeple just keep saying look out for the tracking order and none is sent. I have asked for my money back and am still waiting to hear back from them.
My order no is 20247. I have nothing in my spam folder! so the comment below is not true. My phone got stolen and I needed the phone asap for work. In response to my email being incorrect is not right. I have communicated from my work and personal emails. You have NOT sent me any tracking no at all at either of my email addresses. I have been told I cant get a refund as the phone is out for delivery for Friday. I have still not received a tracking number. I have asked for my money back but have been told that if I dont want to keep the phone, I have to return it and wait for 14 days to get my money back!! I will keep you all posted on the outcome and look forward to seeing what I receive and what kind of condition the phone is in and hope it is blue, unlocked and in good condition as stated in their ad. I have changed the review rating as the phone has arrived its in good condition, have yet to get a sim for it but its black not blue!

Horrible experience - Faulty TV

The only reason of the one star is that i cant give zero stars. Horrible company , no communication whatsoever over the phone , late/inadequate communication via emails. All their products are Graded A, which i didnt know when i bought (they state it in small letters). These Graded products are most of the times faulty products that have been returned and exchanged. To start with the TV had no power cable in the box. But the main fault of the TV i received were clouds of lights coming from the bottom of the TV , which were really obvious in a dark room. They wanted me to have the Tv returned to them within 14 days otherwise they wouldnt refund. Consumer rights state clearly 14 days to notify for the return and 14 days after that to return. They encourage bank transfer payments so you have less rights as a consumer. They were trying to persuade me that those clouds were the TV design!!!! Overall horrible. At the end i gave up contacting them and i dealt directly with Samsung because i felt it wouldnt take me anywhere. Strongly advice to avoid DC Digital TV unless you want to risk receiving a faulty product and getting stuck with it. To my opinion its not worth the time and the hassle for 40-50£ difference.

I ordered a Samsung TV from this Company which arrived a week later with THREE key parts missing. After many many calls and emails, they eventually sent ONE of parts out two weeks later.... which didn’t work. They now do not answer either their phones or emails.
Five weeks after first receiving the delivery, I am left with a television that is no more than an ornament and am having to take legal action against these people in order to get my money back.

Your reply below, equally bemuses and amazes me. You have chosen to ignore the fact that;
1) the TV supplied does not work,
2) you ignore my requests to collect the faulty goods,
3) you ignore my requests to return the monies owed to me,
4) you fail to answer your telephone,
5) you fail to respond to emails,
6) as a result of the five points above, legal action has been instigated against your Company,
7) you have four equally dissatisfied customers who have posted very similar accounts within the last few days on this site only.

However you have chosen to simply focus on a TV stand!
If the missing TV stand was my only concern, then I would have simply gone out and bought one myself and put this whole very unpleasant experience behind me.
Caveat emptor as my old law tutor would say.

Genuinely the worst customer service…

Genuinely the worst customer service i’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter. So that people know what they are getting into: when you phone into Dc digital, they essentially have a receptionist that passes messages to ‘customer services’ to phone customers back. The problem is, they rarely seem to do so.

I ordered a Samsung s9 plus on Monday 25th June. Payment method was via debit / credit card for which someone phones from dc digital to take payment the following day. 72 hours later, payment had still not been taken. I placed at least 3 phonecalls to resolve but to no avail. The number is only available between 11 and 4, and of course, 1-2 is a lunch break when phones are again switched to automated message.

The following day and 4 phone calls later I was eventually phoned by customer services who took card details and said they would put payment through. I also requested a confirmation email to be sent. I Have checked today and still have nothing. Phoned in and message was left with receptionist, still not heard back. I’ve Not even had acknowledgement that payment has been put through, let alone details of any delivery that is allegedly supposed to be with me on Friday (as I was told by customer services)

Just really very poor service from beginning to end. I’d request a refund but technically my money hasn’t been taken yet%!

I note that dc digital have time to check trustpilot but dont have time to phone to say that payment had been declined and resolve that problem.

The notion that my card was declined may indeed have been an issue, but i suspect that is likely to be the result of customer services noting the number down incorrectly (on one phonecall i did get) rather than funds not being available. I know this because i used the same card to source a phone from one of your competitors without issue a day later.

The notion that you emailed me about this is absolute nonsense. I have checked my account including spam and junk folders. There is no such email.

I shall be sharing ny experience on social media.

Unfortunately your card was declined. We emailed and added a note to your order. We asked you to contact your bank.
Our stock moves very quickly due to pricing. The stock had to be released for other customers. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Order elsewhere!!

I purchased 2 TV's on 27 April 2018 and on first account all seemed good I was provided with a delivery date for about 10 days after order which is okay. Delivery date came and went with no TV. I received an email to advise that the TV's would be delivered in around another 7 days and again this date came and went. I then received an email to say that the TV's have been damaged in transit and I should select 2 new TV's or refund. I opted for 2 different TV's. Low and behold a few days later one TV was delivered but it was the one that I originally ordered, driver had no knowledge that any TV had been damaged in transit as he delivers them. TV i got had incorrect stand and incorrect remote which took them another 2 weeks to rectify and by rectify i mean they sent me another incorrect remote and incorrect stand. I then called up to be told stands and remotes are not always included and I must source my own so i could not use the TV for this period and it was unable to stand up. The TV i was told was damaged was still being sold on their website with plenty in stock. I was sent a cheque which bounced and finally today I have received a refund by bank transfer. I have waited to post this review in case they decided not to refund me. Please do not shop with this company and buy a TV from elsewhere.
