Outstanding Job!

I've been scammed by companies on Facebook before, so I wasn't sure if I could trust this one. When I opened the box, I was surprised, it wasn't what I expected, it was better. This is an anniversary present and I'm sure the kids will love it. Thank you so much, Robert Fisher

Great company. Great talent.

Designed has done several watercolors of my parents. They have all turned out outstanding. Friends and family all remark how beautiful they look. They are very easy to work with, and are responsive to any changes I requested. I'm sure I'll have them do more as time goes by.

Love the Proof/Approval Process

The ease of ordering, coupled with customer service support. The care taken in the proof/approval process to insure that the customer will be beyond, BEYOND thrilled with what is delivered. THAT PART meant EVERYTHING to me. I ended up swapping out an image I initially submitted, for another one, thanks to the proof approval process. Their patience & understanding was invaluable to my getting a fabulous portrait of 'my Babydog'. Love BOTH canvases that I got! SO pleased & thankful! 💗🏆

Simply beautiful

So, so, so pleased! I sent a photo of my grandchildren to have made into a gift for their parents. The artwork is BETTER than the photo. I am in tears! It is absolutely perfect, reasonably priced, and sent from CA to FL without mishap, in secure packaging. 👍👍

I am still waiting on my picture

I am still waiting on my picture! I ordered it and heard nothing. I contacted them via email since they do not have a phone number to contact them. I received an email the next day saying they had sent the proof six days prior and I had not approved it. So I went through my everything in my email, it wasn’t there. I wonder why someone wouldn’t have contacted me since I had already paid $139.00 for the picture! So it took an act of congress to get the customer service rep to send the proof. She said if I didn’t get it the first time they couldn’t ensure I would receive the second time. This was around three days because they will only answer one email a day! So I sent an email back and said hmmm how do you think I’m going to approve the picture if you don’t email it! That was in September 20th. So I looked yesterday and it still says it’s unfulfilled, so no progress. I sent an email and ask for an update. The customer service rep responded that it would take a little while since I just approved the proof on the 20th. She didn’t give me any idea how long or when I might expect the picture. I can’t imagine a company that had no customer service you can contact by phone! I have had the worst response from their customer service. Having been in customer service I’m very disappointed in their response time and the content of their emails! This was suppose to be a gift, however I’m not expecting it in time.

This actually looked to good to be true…

This actually looked to good to be true but I wanted to try it. I sent in 2 pictures and requested the canvas style with no frame. When they arrived my husband and I both cried. They were BEAUTIFUL! One of the pictures is of my husbands mom & dad right before his dad got sick. These pictures are great quality. I can’t describe how happy we are with the outcome. We will be ordering more for us to keep.
Try it….you will not be disappointed!

Was looking for a unique wedding gift…

Was looking for a unique wedding gift idea to accompany a cash gift. Felt that a Designed By Memories portrait would be perfect. A watercolor canvas was created from one of the couple’s business trip photos where they got engaged. The folks at DBM tweaked the design to my request and also took care of my ordering oversight without any problems. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. I think this beautiful canvas will be a nice addition to the couple’s home.

LACK OF ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE

The product with creases (significant) and am attempting to flatten out. I emailed them beginning on September 5, 2023, with no response in their stated 24-48 hours. I then emailed them several more times, with no resolution and a comment “why do you keep emailing us” and still no solution offered. A real shame because the product is very nice but I cannot give as a gift because of the condition

Great product!

I love this company. They do beautiful work and they have great customer service. I highly recommend them for any art work. Your best photos will look a hundred times better after they do their magic!

NAH..............Just stay away. There are other companies that do the same thing better and more reliably.

When you have problems with your order, it will take forever to get a reply and it's usually very rude. And be ready for this: They'll blame everyone but themselves. ie: Your internet provider probably didn't process the email you sent. It's ALWAYS someone else. And approve a proof first? Right. NEVER saw a proof before they did finally send the order (which granted, was nice) And they'll repeatedly ask you for your order #, which you've already provided a minimum of five times but they keep acting like it's a brand new request. I'd stay away. I just wish WE could respond to other reviews to let people know they're not crazy and to let Designed By Memories know that they ARE crazy. All these five star reviews saying how great the customer service and/or communication is, are TOTALLY fake. And their responses, saying their customer service rep wasn't rude at all is total BS. Anyone that's had to deal with them KNOWS they're awful, no matter WHAT the company responds with.

UPDATE: I started with fb messenger. My very first attempt to reach you was met with "Calm down!" And you can try to explain away all the excuses, but if you look at most of your reviews, they are the same. Excuses and rude reps. I hadn't corresponded with your company for quite some time and then randomly got a fb messenger post "We're turning this over to our legal department". Ummmmmmmm.......ok. I paid for a picture. I got the picture. End of story. What's the legal department threat supposed to be for?? But go for it. I actually have an attorney on retainer, so happy to join the fight. Make all the excuses you want, but the reviews speak for themselves.

I do want to state that we are hosted on Shopify and it is notorious for getting emails blocked by email service providers such as Yahoo, Microsoft, and Comcast. We never stated that your internet provider was an issue, it is the EMAIL service provider. The ones mentioned above have very strict filters that block out emails with attachments in them (we attach proofs to our emails) since it could potentially be spam. So it is a very real issue and it's why we tell customers to add us to their contact list or whitelist us in a different way to ensure all emails are received.

And yes, we do ask for your order #. If we do it repeated, it's because you keep sending us new emails and not replying to the current email thread. Our support ticket system marks each email thread as a singular support ticket, so when you email us with a new email (new headline/subject/body), then our system will mark it as a complete new ticket without any prior information.

Also, in YOUR specific case, you went from contacting us via email to then contacting us via Facebook Messenger. We have 2 different teams handling emails and our social media, so that's why they asked for your order number those separate times.

Finally, none of the 5 star reviews here are fake. Trustpilot is very strict about fake reviews and will delete any that are deemed fake or fabricated. These are all real customers (including the low star reviews). Hence why we like to address all of the reviews with lower ratings than we'd like.

Lies on reviews and 45 days late and ships from China not usa.

The prints are not trimmed on the back and, poorly made with over sized wood frames, took 60 days to get to me.

I'm a ecommerce business owner since 2016 and iv never seen this type of service unless it was drop shippjng from china or a scammy business.

Iv been flagged but I'm not the only customer that has left bad reviews on here.

Charge backs, they threaten you and with legal team.
I have emails..lol

Amazon don't even do this.

Once you order and scan the trackers and qr codes you'll know the truth 😉.
That's of you get the item o. Time for any event of gift you got this for.

Thank you for your review but I can 100% say that you're spreading misinformation.

First of all, we are 100% located in the US and all of our items ship from the US as well. We ship out of California, Kentucky, Georgia, and Texas. Not a single one of our items ship from China.

We have facts and real tracking numbers to back this up.

In regards to your experience with us, we did run into a supply issue temporarily but we are now all caught up and shipping orders out as usual. This is literally the first time we ever ran into a supply issue within the past 3 years of being in business. This is bound to happen to a business that's growing as quickly as ours and is just part of doing business.

If there was an error with your order and it still hasn't been sent, then it is most likely because you never respond to our customer support rep who asked you for your information.

We also cannot proceed with your order if you file a chargeback before the item ships since the funds are being held by your bank/financial institution and we would essentially be sending you the product for free. So we wait until the chargeback is fully resolved before proceeding.

We also cannot process a refund for you if you've filed a chargeback, since once again, your funds will be held by your bank and we will not have access to it. This is why you filing a chargeback put a halt on your order if you did so before your order was sent.

Anyway, I do understand your disappointment, but please refrain from spreading false information and next time you should simply ask for a refund/cancellation instead of filing a chargeback since we cannot refund you once a chargeback has been filed.

I love this product!

I love this product! It takes a favorite pic and creates a watercolor style painting that you can't wait to put on a wall! Also, when one pic didn't turn out as expected, their customer service was gracious enough to send another with changes I requested! Highly recommend this company and the lovely pieces they create!!

The portrait is absolutely stunning

The portrait is absolutely stunning! I opted for the larger canvas watercolors with the floating frame. I could not be more pleased. It even made my wife tear up when she saw it.

The order went smooth

The order went smooth, thee 1st proof took way longer the expected. I asked at that time if the shadow on my sons neck could be removed they asked me to send the photo with a circle around the area of concern, which I did. I attempted to email them 3 times and then received the picture with the shadow still there. Maybe they will stand by there promise and send one without the shadow. Had they let me know I would have used a different photo

No delivery or timing of delivery

I placed an order for a metal name sign on 7/22/23 and I have not received the order nor have any dates on receiving it. I have received communication from customer service but no real time frame of when I will actually receive the item. It feels like they just keep dragging you along which I find to be terrible customer service and makes me question if they are even a legit company. Looking to get my money back at this point.
