Very convenient.

The meal choices are varied, easy to prepare and delicious. Gives me a chance to cook different cuisines without making a big investment in spices and other ingredients. I have been using the meals for several years and they really come in handy especially before a trip. Great not to have lots of food left that will go bad while we are away. Handy on our return also, knowing I can fix dinner without having to run to the store. Occasionally in the winter, we live in a snowy mountain area, my delivery is delayed or does not come. It’s my only complaint and not really Dinnerly’s fault.

Gluten free family who like many choices

Many good options to choose from with some repeating recipes but they don't repeat too often which is nice! Love that there are gluten free options! Do wish if there is a pasta recipe to have the option of substituting the pasta for gluten free option kind of like how you get to choose meat and how much!

Ok at times

At times the ingredients are missing or wrong- whoever packages the box sometimes places heavy objects on top of smaller items that will open via delivery

It’s fine

First package was late, second was missing an item, third was missing a recipe sheet. Just always something it seems like…food is good though

Customer Service is Nonexistent

I have been a Dinnerly customer for years and it helps a lot with meal prep for my family of five.

However, it seems like the company has scrapped any type of customer service. Our meal kit was *not delivered* one week and the tracking information confirmed it. I reached out to customer service. No reply. Replied to the ticket created. No reply. Created ANOTHER ticket. Still no reply. It has now been 10 days, and I have yet to hear back, which is more than enough time for customer service to respond.

I cancelled my service because if I have issues in the future, it seems like it will be impossible to get any assistance.

We were stuck making the same dinners…

We were stuck making the same dinners every week. Dinnerly has allowed us to change things up and the kids love it. It's even gotten me to eat vegetables for the first time. We've had a few minor problems but the customer service has taken care of things. Highly recommend!

The meals don’t always show up on the…

The meals don’t always show up on the scheduled day and once back in August I think it was I didn’t receive my shipment at all. Tried to contact the company for a refund and had such difficulty I gave up. The meals are tasty and easy to prepare, but seem repetitious regarding ingredients. Way too much pasta and flour tortillas.

The meals have mostly been good

The meals have mostly been good. But 2 weeks ago, my box never came and this past week, I got a box but it was not what I ordered and I could not eat it as I’m gluten free and vegetarian. Both meals had beef in it. I reached out to customer service and was told I would get a $12 credit and that is just unacceptable to me as I paid over $50 for the order. I have reached out again to no response.

I feel like there isn’t any oversight…

I feel like there isn’t any oversight on whoever is packing boxes. My last box came missing a meal and the remaining two meals weren’t what I ordered. I feel the deliveries are a good value when I get everything I order. But the success rate on these boxes is less than other programs I’ve used.

Good food but comes with some issues

It has had a lot of issues hopefully those are being resolved but I’m haven’t seen enough to rate any higher as of now. I like the food though.

I have enjoyed my meals, but get cincerned.

I have enjoyed my meals. However I am concerned how many mistakes have been made over the past months. Again this week I was supposed to get ground turkey, but got ground chicken. Couldn't even leave a review on line. If things don't start improving, I may have to look elsewhere.

Good food when you get what you ordered

I have ordered in the past and had ingredient issues so I took a break for a while to give some time for issues to possibly be fixed. I recently started ordering again and a few orders were successful and then my last order was missing ingredients. I ordered 3 separate meals. One meal was the butternut squash ravioli with spinach. The butternut squash ravioli was not in the order so that meal was not possible. One of my other meals was also missing ingredients. Luckily I was able to look at some things I had in the pantry and had some things available that fit the recipe to substitute with. I then went on the app to report the missing items. After I reported the issue I was extremely disappointed. I was credited a total of $4. I was charged and paid for 2 servings of a meal and that meal was missing and was not reimbursed for what I was charged. It is discouraging that these issues are still happening. I also found when I unpacked the box that the ice pack that was in the box was entirely melted and room temperature. I unpacked the box within 10 minutes of it being delivered and the day it was delivered the weather was only 50 degrees with wind and cloudy.

Not the best, but not bad

We've are a household of two adults that have been doing dinner boxes for a year now, and we get a box delivered on a weekly basis. We have tried different companies and always ended up circling back to Dinnerly because of a couple of things: less packaging, and easy to use app.
Sadly, we have encountered a lot of recurring issues, that even though have always been resolved in time and manner, is getting annoying and left us disappointed more than once:
Boxes arrived one day late for a whole month, with one of those times food being completely spoiled and box full of bugs; a lot of missing items, damaged ingredients, and protein quality (chicken and beef cuts) is usually bad so I end up having to go to the store to replace those items at least 2 out of 4 boxes.
All being said, I don't think we will part ways with the service since the support has always taken care of our issues, and the amount of work they save me by not having to meal plan and shop is worth the minor inconveniences.

I was sent several boxes with missing…

I was sent several boxes with missing items. This last box was sent with my name on it but it was someone else’s order of stuff we don’t eat. And this last mistake I was charged for a box that I had skipped. After last week I have skipped any future boxes.
