Diseased Plants and Lack of Compensation
Unfortunately after spending £59 on plants which (excitingly arrived before the estimated date) my delighted anticipation soon changed to dismay and disbelief when I opened the large box to see them.
Out of 5 large assorted Lavatea, two were completely infested with disease and had barely any leaves. On Googling, I discovered it to be 'Holyhock Rust' - highly contagious amongst the Mallow family.
The other 3 Lavatera, while initially looking healthy, are already showing signs of it on their lower leaves.
I have sent numerous emails and photographs over the past week - but don't feel I am getting anywhere with Direct Plants. As they supply Debenhams and are an 'award winning nursery' I falsely trusted them.
I do not know how these plants passed safety inspections, let alone got packed and sent out as a first order to a new customer.
£60 is a lot of money to me and there are some nurseries I've had excellent Plants from. I wish I had spent my time and money at one of those instead.
Disgraceful.

Their plants are great
Their plants were competitively priced. My tree was delivered super fast and it was bigger and fuller than what I thought, which was a nice surprise and looked very healthy. Direct Plants will be my 'go to' plant shop from now on.

Really pleased with my purchase from Direct Plants. I ordered 5 Cherry Laurels. They were delivered quickly and well packaged. They look really healthy sturdy plants.

Good just a tad late due to stormy weather
Good, healthy plants -boxed well and good delivery when it arrived, just a bitnof confusion as scheduled friday and not delivered (storm Amy so maybe thats why) i messaged the customer services and got a reply and prodecta were delivered on the tuesday. Will use again 👍
