Our experience with Dixon Commercial and Emerson has been nothing short of a nightmare. We paid $1,630.13 for their services, yet they failed to take any action or fulfill their contractual obligations. Despite multiple follow-ups, they have completely ignored our requests for a refund.
This company operates in bad faith, making false promises and misleading customers into paying for services they never intend to provide. Their lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication is appalling.
We are now in the process of filing formal complaints with consumer protection agencies in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia for deceptive trade practices. If you value your time and money, stay far away from this agency!

After signing the agreement, I found that the actual services did not align with what was promised.
Communication has been poor both over the phone and by email; I often feel like my questions go unanswered, and follow-ups are lacking. Instead of solving initial problems, I find myself facing even more issues. Until now, I could not cancel my contract or get a refund for my membership. I cannot recommend this company due to the lack of trust and support. Proceed with caution if you choose to work with them."
Dixon Commercial………buyer beware
I contacted Dixon Commercial to assist with monies owed to us. I filled out forms but did not sign. I changed my mind after reading reviews. Sales advised that it was fine if I didn’t want to proceed as I did not sign the contract. Yet they charged my Visa anyway and now ignoring my emails and phone calls. And they tried to defend their reviews????

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Dixon. I hired them to recover a debt, and instead of representing my interests as their client, they seemed more focused on accommodating the debtor’s narrative.
The debtor was clearly informed of my policies, including that canceling the service would still incur charges for the time and effort spent on their project (design time, meetings, and calls). I have proof of this, yet Dixon never consulted me for critical details during their negotiations.
Their lack of communication and one-sided approach resulted in an outcome that does not reflect the effort I hired them for. I expected them to act in my best interest, but instead, I feel they prioritized the debtor's claims, ultimately failing to recover what was rightfully owed.
I cannot recommend Dixon to anyone looking for professional and client-focused debt collection services. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere!
Just want membership fee
Same as others I have a JUDGEMENT and these guys sold me on their membership that they'd collect and take 10%..... they did nothing and come to find out they are not even reporting the debt unless we give them 40%.... lots of better collectors out there, go that way.

Save your money! They are all over you to collect your membership fees and then disappear after they get it! With how persistent they are on the sales end you expect that they will do the same to collect for you, but I couldn't even get reply emails to my requests for credit reports on possible clients, so how could I ever trust them to collect money for my company? Stay away!!!

This company is very unprofessional. I received a call from a lady and I explained to her about my Sons being sick and she told me they should stay in hospital and die.
I have never been so humiliated and asked her if she need proof and she said no and stated she will keep harassing me.

This was the biggest waste of money ever. Dixon promised you the world. There is nothing that this company will do for you to recover your money. They are in the business to collect massive membership fees and then do NOTHING! They have misleading advertisement “Accounts listed over three hundred dollars are collected at only ten percent with guaranteed results”. They do not try to collect for months until you are basically forced to go into 'phase 3', it's when they might put some effort, which I doubt, as they will get more commission. Not a single penny was collected by them, no proof of working the files ever provided, employees have extremely demeaning tone when you ask for any update or any kind of supporting documentation for the work. Before signing up with them, your phone will be flooded with calls and voicemails from their sales department with all fake promises and once you sign up and paid their membership fees, they never answer your call, never return the call even if you leave 100’s of voicemails. They say online portal has everything but believe me literally there is nothing, not even debtors name, how much they owe, what progress have been made so far, nothing. Whatever you do, do not do business with this company. We have horrible experience with them and deeply regret ever selecting them. If I could rate them negative that would have been more appropriate.

This was the biggest waste of money ever. Dixon promised you the world. I’ve spent close to half of what the outstanding bill was on Dixon “trying” to collect the debt with zero result, they say they can continue helping of course for a big fee but it’s definitely cheaper to cut your losses or just go to small claims court. If I could rate them 0 stars that would have been more appropriate.
Very unpleasant experience with Dixon
We had booked an appointment with a company to repair a refrigerator. After making the appointment, we realized that the company had received many negative reviews online, so we cancelled the appointment and booked with another appliance repair company that had been recommended. We subsequently received an invoice from the first company billing us for "Diagnose and Repair of Electric Appliance - Refrigerator". No diagnosis or repair was done. In fact, as we understand it, the charge was for a cancelled appointment. We asked the company to send us a corrected invoice reflecting what it was for, which we would pay. Instead of taking that simple step, the company referred the account to a collection agency. That agency contacted us, and we explained the situation to them. They agreed that we had a valid position, and that they would not pursue the case. Some months later, we received a threatening and erroneous email from another collection agency, Dixon Commercial Investigators. We provided that agency with the same information, but they were not interested in communicating with us, other than to send further threatening emails. They did not respond to emails or a phone call. We finally decided to pay the invoice rather than wasting any more time on the matter. Our experience with Dixon Commercial Investigators was very unpleasant and left us with the impression that they are an unethical company.

Won't stop harassing me! My ex-roommate who got escorted out of my home by RCMP due to physically scaring my mom was not allowed back into my home without RCMP there and left all his belongings and now wants the rent for the days he was not living there plus other ridiculous costs he feels I owe him. So he is using Dixon to try to get money back and in a Dixon letter it wrote if I don't reply then they will take me to court and over a year now with over 500 calls , they won't stop!!! I asked them to take me to court and she replied " NOOOOOO". Very unprofessional and just a horrible company!!

Be careful of the fine print in Dixon's contract
I was a client of Dixon Commercial. Our contract was over with them for 6 months and we tried to withdraw from them collecting on one of our debtors. They would not stop perusing the debt and eventually they managed to recovered only a small portion of it. By asking them to stop perusing the debtor in the fine print of the contract there is a clause and now we had to pay out what their percentage of the debt would have been if they collected all of it which they did not !!! Meaning not only did we lose the initial money to our client Dixon ended up charging us thousands of dollars and we recovered nothing . In fact the whole endeavor involving Dixon cost us. Please be very careful when engaging this company and read the fine print of the contract VERY carefully before you sign anything .

A girl named Stacey called with a debt I had forgot about. When she first called I was stressed. She calmed me down set up a very reasonable and doable payment plan and was even able to waive some interest for me. My debt was not sent collections and didn't effect my credit. I had to speak to Stacey a few different times always helpful and friendly.
