Its a scam. They take money and dont even call a debtor.

Scam will not give direct info we paid for there services now they repeatedly call saying we owe them and refuse to say what they are doing on the file we sent them to collect on samantha seems to be accounts receivable with noone to anwser to she is very rude and will talk inappropriately for 45 mins but as soon as the conversation is directed to a serious question like why is the account billed out she shuts down and avoids respectful communication at all costs my wife spoke up as we were recording the conversation with call being on speakerphone and samantha stated amy the adults are talking she uses rude and gaslighting techniques to escalate emotions freely yet points out the frustration when the same techniques are used towards her please stay clear as any number provided through canada for there company is directed to the same receptionist and in my cases no matter what department or person I ask to speak to I'm always directed to samantha even without clarifying who I would like to speak to I am automatically transfered to samantha !!!!

Dixon’s are dogwater, they’re on same level as Harry & Sons. Never on time, always late, and coming up with an excuse as to not be on site when needed. As of now, they’re not going to be here until 21:00 tonight. They were meant to be here at 15:00.

We have been working with Dixon Commercial Investigators for a few years now and are very pleased with their services and high success rate. Their diligence and perseverance have paid off on several of our delinquent accounts both domestic and in the USA.

This is a scam as scam could possibly be. There is nothing that this company will do for you to recover your money. They are in the business to collect massive membership fees and then do NOTHING! You are better chase your debtors yourself and even if you are unable to recover the money, you won't be on the hook for never-ending upselling that they push you to suck up even more money out of you, and give you back nothing.

I decided to try a collection agency after stressing myself out trying to chase my customers. I have received sales calls from Dixon Commercial Investigators in the past, and decided to try it out. Its literally like having another employee working for you. I am very happy with my decision.

Pleased with the over all service, only issue I had was resolved and explained. They did make good on the Guarantee that they offer. It states that they will recover ten times what it costs you, It did take about 9 months.

Whatever you do, do NOT, I repeat, do NOT do business with this company. Our experience with them was horrendous.

Not a single penny was collected by them, no proof of working the files ever provided, employees have extremely demeaning tone when you ask for any kind of supporting documentation for the work they say they did. Nor do they provide "coupons until they do collect" as per their contract.

And then the owners make fake 5 star reviews...just look at the names...what a joke.

I signed up with Dixon about 5 years ago. Success has been decent. They collected about half of what I submitted in a few months. Pretty good overall. Then last week, I randomly received a check in the mail. I haven't submitted anything new in quite some time so I was confused at first. But it turns out it was one of the original files I submitted. After 5 years, they were still working on it, and still recovered.

Working with this company to collect on my past due accounts was a wonderful experience... I would recommend this company

Do NOT deal with them. Every bad review is true imo. We have same horrible experience with them and deeply regret ever selecting them.

Leave a true review of your experience and u will be threatened with legal action for "slanderous" review. You will be treated worst than any debtor while you are a paying customer (even on accounts they never collected on). They will try to say you breached the contract for reasons not listed on the contract. And omg, the tone, even after giving S.C. (hope you reading this) a chance to refresh n reset, poor girl cannot do it. I fear therapy is needed for alot of their employees on daily basis.

I have paid $864.00 to open an account. I have customers that did not pay, which includes a judgment in the amount of $86.000.00 + interest which would be around $97,000.00, to make a very long story short... a while later they informed me that it is useless and that they went after the guy and had no chance of collecting the entire amount, after a back and forth for 2 weeks, I offered a settlement at $25,000.00 lump sum, in the end, Dixon Commercial convinced me to accept $22,500.00, to which I finally said yes, thinking that $22,500.00 minus they advertised fee of 10% would come to approximately $20,000.00 in my pocket, better than nothing but not even close to $97,000.00. At that point they received my payment from the person that owed me, ... They kept my payment in their office for almost 2 and half months, from Dec 31 2021 till March 04 2022, 20 phone calls later and a lot of runaround on my behalf from every single one of their employees (let's not forget that these people are supposed to be looking for my best interests, because I already paid them to set up an account and become their client), telling me all kinds of stories they finally sent my cheque, and Surprise Surprise, I have received a cheque from Dixon Commercial in the amount of just over 12,000.00 (See Attached Pic), these horrible people not only convinced me to accept a minimal amount as settlement, they also took from me almost 50% of the recovered funds, that on top of basically selling me off as their customer I would like to get in contact with any and all victims affected by this horrible company. Please contact me... I would like to file a class action lawsuit against Dixon Commercial Investigators

I found this company on line, like most people would. Wasn't sure who to get because this was my first time. Well people let me tell you, I can not believe what this company does. Slow as molasses on freezing cold January day to call you about anything. Don't return calls fast enough. You better remember who you talked to and their extension or else you're screwed. I can tell you honestly don't get them, trust their reviews. Been 8 months as of now and not much communication unless I call them. Extremely disappointed with them. Save your money!

Promise made in May 2022: Accounts listed over three hundred dollars are collected at only ten percent with guaranteed results. 1,011.35 was paid towards this service. I am not demanding a refund, as the service was not provided, following their guarantee. Further, I have recieved an invoice for the ammount of $6591.99, with no explaination, no one is reachable and still no service has been provided. Emails have been sent to inquire with no response. When I called on July 17, 2023, I was told to email customer service and there was no one there who could help me. I was repeatedly given the line that 'I am just the receptionist.' and that there apparently no one in management to take a call. The company is a complete scam.

If I could give them a negative star rating I surely would. They are horrible to deal with. They have zero customer service. I am sorry I ever signed up to deal with these incompetent people. Never again! My suggestion would be to do you own collecting as these people are useless and do not pay up what they owe.

In January 2022, I hired Dixon Commercial to collect about 18,000.00 in unpaid bills. It took about three months to decide on them and I did not do my due diligence.

They claimed they collected $4771.18, their fee which was supposed to be 10%, was $3,426.91 and they sent me a cheque for $1,344.27. On another trust statement, they collected $1840, collected $691.00, and sent me $1,149.00. In January of 2023, they collected $364.50 and claimed they sent me $328.05. here is the kicker and why you MUST stay away from this collector.

There were some people they couldn't collect from and the amount of that debt was $12,421.77. On their trust statement, they claimed that the debtors paid me directly. They didn't inform me of this and as a matter of fact, the people I spoke with indicated that they couldn't collect the funds. Dixon Commercial claimed on their trust account that the debtors paid me and invoiced me for $$5,003.71, saying that was what they would have charged me if they had collected the funds instead of me.

Every time someone paid me directly, I informed them, and they made the adjustment on my account, but they decided that because they could not collect the funds, they would claw back what they should pay me.

From what they collected they owed me about $6,000, but because the debtors "told them" they had paid, without providing evidence, or informing me, they subtracted the amount and since September of 2022, they have been claiming they have mailed me what was owed to me.

Apparently, they forget the postal code for my office except when they are looking for business as that is the only time I get mail from them.

They have "mail me" cheques about six times between September 2022 and April 2023, and none has successfully reached my office.

I now have creditors and need to find another collector, as if you hire Dixon Collection to collect your money, you can kiss it goodbye.

Not only are they generally incompetent, but many of the people working here are literally stupid.

Scammers that won't have anyone besides the person scamming reach out. Not even sure if it's a real company

DUPLICATE REVIEWS POSTED by DIXON

I got a call from Dixon yesterday telling me about the cost for their collection service > $1600 + tax paid upfront.

Canada's largest debt collection agency, MedCredit, only gets paid AFTER your money has been recovered and sent to you - at least for tenant-landlord issues.

I'm glad that I read dozens of reviews about Dixon, unfortunately from people who were scammed by them.

Then I read the Trust Pilot reviews that convinced me to never do business with Dixon - EVER.

Dixon's Google reviews are clearly duplicate reviews with some different words and sentences thrown in.

Here's an example of two clearly fraudulent Dixon Google reviews that are EXACTLY the same, "written" by allegedly two different people - I'm sure it was one person who wrote them - with the last few words changed and one different sentence added:

Really great and very amazing service I recommended to everyone. After dealing with many clients owing us money for way too long, we decided to give Dixon a go, and see how things went. And it has been great so far. Of course I would sooner get all of my money back, but most is better then none. It's really too good service.
