This company is a SCAM . They've collected money from accounts they have been paid from . We have yet to have received a single cent. You can NEVER get a hold of anyone . They pull the "cheque is in the mail. STAY AWAY from this company.

When you make the news the public is very nervous about getting involved. Recent publication of their unwillingness to return money accidental sent to them for a service never performed, does not illicit confidence in the integrity for which they do their job. As I am presently working with Trustpilot for possible fraud activity, who shows a relationship with that company also,I am concerned all around now. Will not use or recommend Dixon Commercial going forward for the time being.,
Avoid these guys at all costs
These guys are complete scam artists and their Rep- Wylie - is a bare faced liar- they tried to collect a 5 year old invoice (that I paid when due) from a Plumbing company that had already fired them, and then this guy threatened me that he would escalate if I didn't "settle"
We hired dixon
We hired dixon, paid the over $1000 fee to join
Sent in almost $ 20 000.00 in bad debts to collect for our company. They have collected on several of our accounts, at 40% 3rd stage, they really didn't do anything at the 10% 2nd stage.
We have only recieved 1 payment, they said one of our cheques was returned and has been reissued along with other payments. The old " The cheque is in the mail"
We have to now have our corporate lawyers go after them to get our money.
Ironic a collection company who doesn't pay.
Stay away from this company, read e everything in full, especially the 3 rd stage terms.

Completely rude and unprofessional
Completely rude and unprofessional, especially Danielle Macwhirter. My account was closed and she was very upset, No one contacted me and they continued taking my payments. This should NOT be legal! She asked me not to yell at her when I wasnt yelling lol unlike her I remained calm but that must be how they justify ending calls by playing victim. Companies like this should be ashamed of the lack of service they provide and unwillingness to help not to mention the lack of professionalism. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS, companies have employees write them to fool the public!
These people will promise you the moon.
These people will promise you that they will get your money. They won't. They "guarantee" they will get your money. They won't. They exist on the money you pay them to do the work. Don't be fooled. They were told by my debtors lawyer to "cease and desist" and they did. When I asked about the guarantee they laughed. By the time I realized this was all BS it was too late to sue the debtor.
Extremely bad client service - do not sign up!
Extremely bad client service. They get you with the sales pitch and then when it's time to collect the money they have collected that is OWED you, you have to wait almost a year. There is no one to talk to in the customer service end and if you do actually get someone to respond to you it is through email and it's a bunch of nonsense that is not helpful to your inquiry.

This company is very attentive right up until you sign and pay for your membership. After that is virtually impossible to get ahold of the person in charge of you accounts. No updates or case reviews are provided and when you question their work practices the individuals can become quite rude and have a patent response of you should log something with our complaints department. Worst customer service experience ever !!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
As I read through reviews from others, I can see that history keeps repeating and many others are going through the same problems with Dixon as we experienced. The company I work for got scammed into signing up for Dixon's so-called "membership". Once they had our $875.00, the communication steadily declined. When we called Reception, we were told that they can't help us and they are not able to connect us with customer service or the collections department. We were told to email both of these departments which we did. Usually, we wouldn't receive a response to our requests/questions or it took at least one month to get an email back from them. They collected $241.57 from one of our customers, and we received $76.51 of that money. We were told another customer of ours paid them $549.39, but when we got our statement it says the customer paid us directly and now they are telling us we owe them $219.76 to which they have now added interest and that amount has increased to $347.00, yet we have never received any money from this customer of ours. We have paid a total of $920.00 to Dixon for their horrible service. I have worked with other collection agencies who worked harder for us and communicated better and we had not paid them any money for their services. My advice is DO NOT deal with this company EVER.
SCAM
After seeing these reviews - it seems to be the same over and over. I paid them over 800 to retrieve money from a deadbeat client. They claim they chased the client but cant prove it to me. After a few months they sent me an invoice for $715.06 stating they couldn't claim money from client so I have to pay for their time What the heck!!! I have had numerous emails, phone calls with staff. they are very rude and unethical to deal with- I could go on for ever but just stay away from this company BIGGEST SCAM EXER
A PAID RECIEPT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
This company is completely out of line. I have been going back and forth with a company we used that has some kind of messed up accounting service. At one point they had threatened to take us to court ... but then apologized because their bookkeeper made a mistake I then asked for a balance, and they said I was paid and received a PAID statement .... then 6 months later said there was another error, and I owed another 1400$ ... NOT HOW THIS WORKS ... I said i would not pay it given the circumstances. Dixon got involved and started communications with a lovely reasonable human I then got a call after providing a paid receipt from a different Dixon employee that had a really "special" attitude and condescending demeanor basically telling me because I refuse to hand over even more money to a company that can't do their books I am uneducated and many more things ... see u in court Dixon I paid the bill I have the email from the company stating that it was paid WITH the receipt. I have since had to provide screen shots of my bank account. Dixon is shady and awful and should have some investigation into their practices..
DO NOT RETAIN THIS COMPANY
If giving 0 stars was possible, we'd choose that option. Dixon's collections services are horrific, and frankly unethical. We retained them to collect on a fairly insignificant debt, and they have been worse to deal with than the client who defaulted. The latest fiasco in attempting closure is that they claim the debt has been paid to them via credit card, but they retain the funds for 30 days to ensure it clears (that's not how credit cards work, but apparently they don't know this). DIXON is now overdue paying us and nobody will respond to any emails, nor is there a way to contact anyone personally via phone. We are looking forward to the media coverage to come, though. If you're looking for a collections service, AVOID DIXON.

Does anyone know how to collect monies that Dixon Commercial collect on your behalf. They have collected about 15K for me and I am unable to get their customer service or accountant to send any of this money to me. How do you collect money from a collection agency?
I think I will need to take them to court.
This company is a fraud
This company is a fraud. My construction contractor did a bad job in my backyard as a result I held the last payment until he fixes his mistakes and damages to my property. He sent it to Dixon commercial and added more expenses to a phony contract that he had submitted to them. I’ve the original contracts, list of payments and copies of the checks and provided all to them and telling that the damages will be fixed, the cost of doing will be deducted from the final payment, he will be then be paid. They’re still harassing me by calling me. This company should not be operating and be shut down. All of them are unprofessional, Danielle and Emma.

This company is a scam..!!! Beware!!! It is like dealing with a devil. If they cannot collect, they will bounce back at you and collect fees for the services even though you never collected a penny... Beware and please spread the word!

This is a very skectchy company and unethical beyond words. Their collection methods violate the BUSINESS PRACTICES AND CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT of BC and their staff members are abusive and rude. I received calls from this horrible firm after the amount in dispute was paid to the company. Of course we are filing a formal complaint about this company but know if you hire them, what you are getting - a possible provincial complaint that could get your company into trouble due to Dixon's bad business practices. BEWARE.

Never paid a dime of what they collected.
Charged us a fee to sign up, collected money and wouldn't pay us out. One of the accounts we had put into collections with them contacted us directly to pay shortly after we submitted them and they billed us a fee for the collected money. Told us they were holding our money they collected until we paid them for that one account. We paid and they never sent us our money.
They also called us to try and sign us on as a customer while we were ALREADY a customer.
