I absolutely love Doxy.me as an alternative to other HIPAA protected platforms for counseling. It is so easy to use and the best part is the closeup of the camera on the subject persons and not seeing the other person as a sixth of the picture. Extra space is just a distraction and impractical when conversation is taking place. And - the fact that it's free is more than wonderful and generous on the part of Doxy.me. I just love it! Really easy to use, mostly with no glitches. Reliability is important, and I've found Doxy to be pretty reliable. Also like the choice of video, or voice only.

I have used doxy.me for 3 years, and am grateful for the high quality of the service. The audio and visuals are consistently clear. I have used doxy.pro as well, and found it a very good platform for including many people in a meeting. I highly recommend doxy.me.

I can always rely on Doxy.me. I have never been unable to do a visit. It is also easy to use for providers and patients. The pricing is good as well. Great product.

As a therapist new to private practice, I was looking for a HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform that would be easy for both clients and me to navigate. There are not any "bells and whistles" on the free version, which was perfect for me just starting out. I appreciate the consistent connectivity and security for clients.

I have utilized Doxy me for more than 3 years. It consistently provides a secure method to meet with patients, transfer documents, collect payment. Although there are other features that I do not currently utilize, those aforementioned have served me well. In a word, Doxy me is reliable.

I've used Doxy for a while now and I've noticed it has become increasingly unusable. When I first signed up it worked decently and there weren't alot of other stable telehealth platforms around at the time but Doxy has just gotten worse and worse and nowadays
there are better options available. I've had frequent disconnections, video quality degrading and other issues.
I've since tried out VSee, Talkspace and Hipaalink and of those 3, Hipaalink performed the best. Unless major improvements are made, I'm done with Doxy and sticking with Hipaalink.

I've used many telehealth apps on my phone. Even with multiple practices. This is by far the worst. I have perfect 5G signal and I keep getting messages that the connection has dropped. Horrible!!! I've tried it 3 different times.

Garbage. I will avoid any providers who push doxy.me as a medium for appointments. Absolute waste of precious time, with immediate physical consequences for the patient when the appointment could not take place because doxy.me was taking a dump.

Secretly sucked information off my computer and transmitted it without my knowledge or consent- location, browser operating system etc.

Horrible just horrible. Where do I start! I have been using Doxy since March 2020. For the last 6 plus months it’s been a total failure. Lag time, blurry picture, slow motion talk, the volume is uncontrollable, clients can’t sign on.Plus, enough with the politics. I don’t want to hear politics in every facet of my life. I have clients who are Russian, ok? Enough.
I have now been on Zoom full time. $150 a year is worth it to me.

In early 2020 my therapist decided to use telehealth exclusively. She decided to use Doxy.me. Most of the time in 2020 and early 2021 there were few problems. Now the connections are terrible. She usually sees me and most often hears me but I cannot see or hear her. I NEVER have this problem with Skype, Duo, Updoc or Zoom. My connection is 230Mbps with 1080p camera. I think she is using a notebook computer. She says she has no problem with other clients. Doxy.me troubleshooting says sound and video are working fine.
I really dislike that there is no way to contact Doxy.me
as a patient. My patience is wearing thin.

Without fail, every time I have tried to connect to the mobile version from my phone, it will disconnect me immediately after finalizing the connection. Only usable from my home PC.

Thanks guys, I always like unpaid time off just to have a 15min conversation on my home PC that could have happened OVER THE PHONE VS A VIDEO CALL.

This is the most crackpot anxiety-inducing software "solution" I've ever seen. 2 different providers I use use this software. Compression is terrible, lag is bad, resolution is bad, and the WORST... if you switch applications at all.... totally crashes the call. This is 2021. If you claim to be a medical provider software...be BETTER. Flickering red / green reception indicator is useless, goes from green / full to red / 1 bar on a repeating pattern, regardless of being stationary. No way to load the comments / chat box again once a provider has sent a message, because all there is at the bottom is the usual microphone mute - end call - settings buttons. HORRIBLE experience always. Cerebral (great company) uses this software. It's my only complaint. Other than going to Doxy's website, ALL they have is a chat bot, not even an email address to contact them with. So I'm more than happy to leave a review on here. Maybe they'll see this.
