Doxy is very easy to set up and use. However, it is extremely glitchy. If the patient is using their phone and they get a call during the session, they decline the call but suddenly there is no sound on Doxy. We often have to disconnect, refresh, and reconnect. More recently, for the first 20sec to 2min of every session, patients state my voice is robotic and scratchy. We have to wait for the sound to correct itself or they cannot understand me. Often times, it will show both parties have a strong signal but video and audio cut in and out. It makes therapy very difficult, especially when the patient is already stressed/upset. My agency is switching to a new platform next month.

Have been using doxy.me since March, 2020. In the beginning, the platform worked very well. In the past two or so months, I'm finding it taking longer to connect to patients. The video is fuzzier. It also glitches in and out. Not always because of a poor internet signal. In general, I would rate doxy.me a
4 1/2 in April. Now, only a 3. I'm using the free version and do not know if the paid format is better.

I enjoy the platform and do recommend it to other therapists. I upgraded my package hoping for improved overall quality (i.e. both sound and visual) however I have not found a significant difference. I may appear with slightly more clarity and crispness to clients however their images often continue to be appear diffuse and grainy. Delayed and poor sound as well as freezing remain issues on both sides at times. I also have a few clients for whom the service just does not work (i.e. a consistent poor and broken connection due to their Internet I presume) and we have to use alternate platforms.

There have been difficulties with many clients who cannot hear me and/or see me at the beginning of some sessions. I am in a rural area, so not sure how much of it is the lower quality broadband and how much is the Doxy program.

Quick and efficient, glad we turned to doxy.me to initiate telemedicine visits for our clinic.

I appreciated how easy it was for my clients to come into my waiting room. The reception was as good as Zoom and often better. Your platform was a critical piece of my success as an online therapist during COVID.

I have used this platform for almost 5 years it’s been great! Representatives are always helpful.

This is a great platform to use for telehealth. I feel confident that it is HIPAA compliant.

Difficult on patients phones

I have no complaints with doxy.me, overall has worked smoothly. This observation also has been the case with patients that I have engaged with living in Southeast Asia. Any “ problem” is traced to operator error... thank you

When the site works it is wonderful. Unfortunately it often freezes during a session with a patient, the sound disappears on both sides at different times, the invitation has nothing on it and I have to resend several times, and I often have to call my patient as I don't see them in the Waiting Room and they tell it says I am off line. I often have to keep refreshing the page, and at times I have to end my session and use another method.

I so appreciate doxy.me for their dedication to providing a secure, quality platform for healthcare for free. It has a flexibility that allows healthcare providers and clients accessibility in many different circumstances. I have found it quite reliable.

Doxy is very easy to use and a great platform. I only have problem with the sound quality. For the first few minutes of most interactions the guest says my sound is too distorted to understand. This is often helped by signing in and out again or waiting the few minutes but either way it's disruptive.

Poor video quality/ freezing. I wanted to continue using Doxyme, but had to switch to Zoom.

The free version provides the basics to get started in offering telehealth. It does a decent job. Sometimes though there are reliability issues with sound and connection quality that can be difficult for users to trouble shoot during an appointment. I would still recommend to a colleague nonetheless.

Doxy generally good despite periodic problems with a stable connection.

Lately when I try to use doxy even though I have done a check I can't understand the person I am talking to. It sounds very staticky. I am not sure why. I tried all of the trouble shooting ideas. I have had to switch to FaceTime. Very disappointing.

Meets my basic needs for individual and group counseling. Most problems appear to with client's strength of connection.
