Eargo 6
The 6's are a definite improvement in sound over the previous versions I've had. Love that they're invisible and don't get in the way of wearing glasses. I'd definitely recommend them.

The best hearing aid yet.
I have used hearing aids for 15 years now. I went through the expensive 'name brand' aids, then the cheap on-line 'behind the ear' aids and finally found Eargo. These are intermediate in price and were the first 'in the ear canal' aids I tried. I have used Eargos for about 6 years now and find them to be much better than the 'behind the ear' aids. I find the Eargos last 2 - 3 years, which is the life of the internal battery. I am now using Eargo 7s which are the best yet. I find them easy to use and maintain, and they give excellent sound quality. Customer service has always been great and they assist you in adjusting the aids to give optimum performance. I would strongly recommend Eargos to anyone with hearing problems.

Eargo 7 not working
I had an Eargo Neo which I really liked. It had some minor problems, but overall it was a great hearing aid. When that died (they have a lifespan of a few years) I ordered the latest model, the Eargo 7 in spite of my hesitation due to the cost.
A friend ordered an open-box Eargo 7 from Ebay for half price, but that stopped working after 2 months. He had no recourse because Eargo does not support resold units, even if they are still under warrantee. But because of my own experience and the fact that his was an unsupported model, I did not let that real experience stop me.
The unit itself looks fantastic and fits the ear much better than the Neo. After tweaking with the app, it also sounds alot better, which i did not realize was possible. I was thrilled after the first day.
The next day I go out to lunch and insert the Eargo 7s at the restaurant, but they never 'wake up' to process sound. I could not use the devices on the second day. Did the aids drain the battery overnight?
When I got home, I plugged in the charger and the entire thing immediately came to life and worked fine. The Eargo 7s could not remain overnight without being plugged in. This is a MAJOR inconvenience, as it cannot be used without a charger. So I started carrying around a charger everywhere and 'woke up' the device in the car upon arrival at my event or meeting.
A few days later, the Eargos do not wake up at all. The charger connects to the phone app (mostly), but does not react to the devices being plugged in at all. Is it the charger? The device? I have no idea. All I know is that after 1 week and 6 or so uses later I am over two grand lighter in the pocket, but still have no hearing aids.
Customer service had me clean the device and when that did not work offered to send a new one.
I am giving them 2 stars solely for their customer service. I hope the next set comes back better.
Absolutely worth the money
Customer service and these are the 0NLY ones that comfortably fit in my very small ear canal.

I love my new Eargo 6
I love my new Eargo 6. This is my third version from Eargo and they keep getting better every time. This last release (Eargo6) is by far the best. The sound is awesome, maintenance is easier and the new Sound Match function is the cat's meow!

Great for dinner parties
I have well not good hearing, but not terrible either.
I use the aids when going out to hear conversations in restaurants and other venues, I now can go out to dinner at a dinner with a show venue I can hear my friends.
These hearing aids are by far the best ones in terms of sound quality and background noise reduction.
I like the different volume levels for different situations. Plus, they are amazingly comfortable. After a bit, I do not even notice them. Worth the investment for me.
The small portable case also acts as charging base and it also helps carry and store the pieces safely, but the top comes off too easily and needs a small redesign to provide a latch to ensure the case does not open by mistake.
They are tiny, discreet, and comfortable. Best of all, they are effective.
I had doubts when I first received them and spent time talking to support staff to find out what I was doing wrong and better ways to work with the aids, the staff was incredibly supportive and helped me to achieve my desired hearing levels.
My left ear has a large canal that with the large petals works great, my right ear has a small canal, and the medium petals are still a bit too large and could use a smaller petal I believe.
The iPhone application is easy to use, but I wished it gave status information, like battery levels, and other status items.

These devices have changed my life.
I have been an Eargo customer for more than three years and I couldn’t be happier. My Eargo devices have changed my life. My wife and I enjoy going to the movies and live theater. Prior to getting my Eargo devices, I had great difficulty hearing the dialog in movies and had to use assistive hearing devices at live theater. I know don’t miss a word!
I love the ability to adjust my Eargo devices using the app on my phone. I can actually hear conversations at my table in a noisy restaurant.
Customer support is outstanding. The support team does everything possible to make sure that you get the most from your Eargo hearing aids.

The best hearing aids ever.
I have had my Eargo 7's since April 23. The set up, follow-up and performance are amazing. In the ear, rechargeable hearing aids are great for my active lifestyle. Using the app I am able to adjust to every environment. Especially good in noisy places like restaurants. Rechargeable case is practical and convenient. Really good company and people.

I recently bought the Eargo #6 and I like them a lot. The amplification and clarity have me not only hearing the voices in the room, but also understanding what is being said. I have been using hearing aids for 8 years and was never really satisfied until I got the Eargo. I also love the ease of putting them in my ears and the ease of caring for them.

After a few weeks of purchasing EARGO 7…
After a few weeks of purchasing EARGO 7 (initial learning curve), I was very happy with the product and glad I made the purchase. The Eargo team had an excellent follow-up program to make sure everything was 100% satisfactory. I find this refreshing, to stay in touch with customers to help answer any questions. The 45-day trial gives reassurance and comfort for a large purchase. The APPs (Android) is very Intuitive and user-friendly, easy to switch settings (watching TV, restaurant..etc).
Would highly recommend this product.

Prompt, helpful and efficient support
Prompt, helpful and efficient support services were provided when my Eargo devices were not holding the battery charge for the expected 14-16 hrs.
I reached out to the support team, they guided me through the testing and reset of the devices. When the problem persisted, they sent out a replacement, under warranty, at no cost! Annie was amazing - professional, attentive and super helpful!
This kind of support and service will keep me coming back - I'm now on my 4th version of Eargo devices.

Upgrade from Eargo 5 to 7 made a difference
I had the EARGO 5s for about two years; and although I was pleased with them, I decided to take advantage of the special offer to upgrade to the 7s. It was absolutely the right decision for me. Although my hearing has declined in the past 2 years, the EARGO 7s have made a difference and improved my quality of life. They seem to be more comfortable such that I don't even notice that I have them in my ears. I am happy with the improved battery life, and the sound quality and adjustability. I even wear them in my fitness classes so I can better hear the instructor. EARGO customer service has been outstanding every step of the way. They are a bit pricey, but to me they are worth every penny.

Rargo Model 7
From my initial communications with Karina P to follow-up discussions with Raquel, my experience with Eargo customer service has been outstanding. I migrated from the Neo HiFis to model 7 and I couldn’t be more pleased. With the Eargo app, I’ve been able to zero in on the best quality hearing I’ve experienced in years. I don’t have significant hearing loss, but enough that I really needed to do something. My professional, as well as my personal life was suffering. But now I’m back to all cylinders!
I also really appreciate the muted black model 7s. They are truly discreet, which is super important to me. Thank you Eargo!

Good hearing with Eargo
I bought my first Eargos hearing aide in 2018. I have had great hearing with them. So easy to use and charge. They fit so well that no one knows I have them in. I have had a couple of issues but the customer service Dept. has taken care of it. I will not buy from any other company. Just bought the Eargos 7. They are Even better.

Great product. You get what you pay for.
I have had them and been using them for about 7 weeks now. All I can say is that they are exactly as advertised. The first time I wore them around family, I had to tell them (after a while) that I had them on. No one could see them but they did notice that I was acting differently. I could actually understand everything that was being said and didn’t have to ask anyone to repeat themselves. I now refer to them as my clearingaids because that is exactly what they do (clear things up). My wife is happy, my family is happy, and I am very happy.
The support from the Eargo company and support team has been exceptional from the first time I spoke to them. The instructions and videos make it extremely easy to set the hearing aids up and maintain them to keep them in top order. I would recommend cleaning them every night before placing them in the charger. They will then be ready to go the next morning.
The product may seem a little pricey compared to the cheaper products you see advertised, but I would highly recommend them. This is a case of “you get what you pay for”.

Resolution of a technical problem
I had an issue with communication between the phone app and the hearing aids via the hearing aid charging saddle. I contacted Eargo and very quickly had guidance as to the method to correct the problem. It required having them transfer me to somebody in tech support who gave me instructions which I followed and it resolved the circumstances. Every instance of having a need to communicate with Eargo has been quick, responsive with an upbeat and cheery tone, and most importantly successful
