Not finding the reservation after a search is frustrating. Without the booking number, we can’t dig into the details properly, and if no confirmation email and number were issued, the booking may not have been finalized. It can also happen if a different email address was used at checkout. Without the reservation number, we can’t see what triggered it in the booking record. If the supplier logged a missed requirement, a late collection, or another term-based issue, that’s where it would show up — but the review alone doesn’t tell us which applies. The missing cross-border option on the rental and the cancellation credit are both fair things to flag. Those extras aren’t available on every booking, as they can depend on the supplier, car category, and pickup country. For the credit you received after cancellation, you can usually either keep it for a future booking or send it back to the original credit card from your profile on the website. If that option isn’t showing, our Help Center can check the booking and help from there.
