Recovery guy arrived promptly, exceeding my expectations. He was very friendly and helpful and gave me additional advice to address car issues. Great experience!

Local recovery vehicle attended quickly - great bloke, friendly and professional. My cover is with Green Flag via my Car Insurance provider, and these guys must be part of their subcontracted local recovery network - that said, if ever I'm in a situation where I need to chose the breakdown service myself, I'll go with these guys - and I'd have no hesitation recommending this business.

This is my second review for Egertons Recovery/Green flag and coincidentally for Jordan who came to my rescue last time! Jordan and in fact all of the Egertons employees I have met have been a godsend; polite, informative and truly helpful. I can do without many things, but NOT Egertons or Green Flag and Jordan the helpful mechanic who is skilled and intelligent! Chris Trueman

Josh came out to help me with my burst tyre. Quick response. Kept me up to date when he would arrive and was fantastic when he arrived. Was very informative, quick to get the work done and leave me safely to drive my car. He is a credit to your company. Very kind person. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend your company.

Terrible customer service. First I waited over half hour in reception, was told the guys were very busy in the compound, finally I was instructed to go over , wasn’t sure where it was, the lady in reception said you will see the guys loading and unloading ,there was no one outside doing anything like that all the shutters were down, no staff members were there when she phoned them up in front of me telling them she was sending me down, I had to bang on the shutters so I could go in. 3 members of staff there not doing any work, and then had the cheek to ask if I was told to come down. All I wanted was my property from my car, for the price they charge you would expect basic customer service

I was fortunate to have my car rescued by Jordan from Egerton’s Recovery via Green Flag today. Jordan was exceptional. No doubt I was having a bad day, but Jordan made it a whole lot better and got my car up and running again very quickly.
I’d also like to thank Julia, who phoned soon after my breakdown to arrange the appointment. The entire experience was efficient, reassuring, and genuinely impressive. It was such a relief to get back on the road. Thanks Jordan!

lovely friendly fella came and mended my car even tested another part for me. . we even had a bit of banter about manchester got car going within minutes and gave me some good advice cant thank him enough

I was kept informed of arrival time and was lucky that the expected time was reduced. I was notified that the call would be sooner. I was contacted to guide the van to exactly where I was, as difficult to find. On arrival the technician was polite and efficient and quickly got me back on the road. The only one downside was having to wait a few hours.

Excellent service, I broke down they reached me in about 20 minutes. The driver was very friendly and good at his job.

Our van was taken by Thames Valley Police for investigation after a motorcyclist fell nearby. We were never charged or found at fault, yet the recovery compound demanded a £195 surcharge just to release our vehicle. No update from the police, no explanation—just a hefty fee for something completely outside our control.
Thames Valley Police were extremely difficult to get hold of throughout. Despite repeated attempts, they never confirmed in writing that no charges were applicable, leaving us to deal with the compound’s demands without any formal support or clarity.
This setup feels exploitative—profiting off people caught in police procedures, even when they’ve done nothing wrong. The lack of transparency and compassion is appalling. If your vehicle ends up here, prepare to pay—whether you're guilty or not.

A review for the Tredegar depot in South Wales, Honestly one of the best experiences of help and service i've ever had anywhere. All of the people here were extremely helpful and understanding when i was trying to recover my car from them. They really went above and beyond to help me get the car sorted out and even helped me push it to the carpark and helped to change the dead battery in it. I also left my other car in the car park close by until i could collect it later and one of the lads made sure to keep an eye on it for me (even checking if i was the owner when i came back to collect it) honestly some of the best people you'd ever meet. Special mention to Wayne and Dean who were the main 2 guys who helped me out no end.

Came out to us within 30 minutes. We were just setting off on our 2 week trip across france to Spain when our coolant pipe split. He managed to get it fixed temporarily until we could get to a garage, which he also helped us find and followed us there to make sure we were safe. Brilliant service.

I had been at a festival arriving Thursday morning. When I came to start the packed car on Sunday, late morning, to return home the battery was flat. I rang green flag who took my details and said Egertons would contact me letting me know when they would be coming. Within minutes I received a call from a technician asking me which field I was on as he had just finished another call on field 7. I explained where I was and he was there within minutes, got my car started, advised me to drive for at least an hour before stopping and I was off! What a relief!
The technician was a very pleasant, cheerful young man who'd had a very busy morning. Can't recommend Egerton's highly enough

I used Egertons (via Greenflag) twice for the same breakdown, once to diagnose the fault and the second time to recover the vehicle to a garage for repair. On both occasions Egertons turned up very quickly and each time I had a phone call from their office giving an estimated arrival time that turned out to be completely accurate. The technician who diagnosed the fault was quick, efficient and friendly, as was the man who came with the recovery truck. What could have been a very difficult afternoon after losing all engine power while going round a roundabout turned out to be very straightforward, thanks to the excellent service Egertons provided

Ben the technician was excellent too, very polite and professional. He got me moving to the layby for a pickup after my car completely died.
