It’s been truly an enriching experience begin part of the first edition of this master course by EIIS.

The many experts sharing their knowledge on various relevant topics elevate the quality of the learning process. And what always stands out the most from all EIIS courses is the opportunity they enable: a multi disciplinary program where multicultural students of different disciplines and industries exchanging ideas and knowledge while learning from industry experts and top leaders in Sustainability solutions.

The challenge driven format of this course has also been a wonderful opportunity to test our skills and develop strong network relationships among us students. 💚🌿♾️

From the moment I joined this program, I have been amazed at the depth of knowledge demonstrated by the experts. Their passion for the subject matter constantly stands out and the ease with which they explain technical concepts makes it more digestible. One particular thing that has stood out for me is the interactive exercises that promote actual application of what we learn. The exercises also help us bond with our classmates, regardless of our locations or even areas of focus. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone looking to make our world more sustainable and circular.

Embarking on the Circular Economy Masters program not only enhanced my technical expertise but also included invaluable soft skills that are crucial for success in today's dynamic world. From effective communication and teamwork to adaptability and leadership, the program nurtures a well-rounded professional skill set. I've particularly appreciated the emphasis on cultivating these skills alongside deepening subject knowledge, ensuring graduates are not only experts in their field but also adept collaborators and innovators. This holistic approach has truly enriched my learning experience and empowered me to confidently navigate the complexities of sustainable development. A program that not only educates but also inspires personal growth.Moreover, i have to admit, it was alot of fun, and the diversity in the group was very interesting, and allowed for an extra learning experience due to different backgrounds, and cultures.

I am a masters student at the institute.I will give a honest and genuine feedback about this course and a very detailed one.

Best things about the course:
- Mindset change: One of the important things when studying is to have a mindset change. With the help of few professors in the course, they did change my way of thinking to circular economy mindset.
- Soft skills: The soft skills the course has is really helpful. It helps in a lot of ways than you can think. The soft skills also tackles on management skills.
- Diversity : The ethnical diversity of the students is one of the best I have to say. When divided into groups, students have time to talk and when I hear about their experiences, its amazing how other parts of the world operate.
- Content of the course : The course has great content. Few frameworks used in the course is helpful in real life too. Few questions are questionings your long term beliefs and triggers for being more open minded.

Things that could improve:
- Recordings: In real classes, students asks questions. Those answers by the professors, certain debates of activities are not available unless requested. I wish the institute uploaded them in the app like the courses.
- Repetition of content: Few weeks, I see some content repeated. I wish the institute could categorize the subjects more accurately and its content

Overall, I would recommend the circular economy enthusiasts to take the course. Again, its my perspective and it can change from person to person.

The food and sustainability course was very good and useful, good articles and materials sent. The on-site experience was wonderful and very beneficial in terms of networking. The only thing that I think should be improved would be the schedules of some activities that did not take place on Thursdays and for those who work it is difficult, if there was the option to record to be watched at least once it would be excellent. Furthermore, friendly and professional team and I definitely recommend.

The course was very well prepared. What made it different from any other online course was the live sessions to ask questions directly to leaders of organizations and sustainable projects. This space inspired many of us and helped a lot to listen to what professionals in the area suggest.
I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in how to make the food system more sustainable, both from the personal level to the professional.

I had the pleasure to take part to the 6th edition of the Food & Sustainability certification program offered by EIIS. I enjoyed the flexibility of the online self paced and live modules, taught by experts from all areas: NGO, industry, entrepreneurs, professors, etc…the material was interesting, well presented and thought provoking. However the best part of the program was coming to Rome for the two days on-site experience, during which I had the opportunity to meet the organizers and most of the other participants. It was a great chance to network and meet very interesting people.

I completed the Food & Sustainability program and it was a great experience. The content is very rich and helps you to scratch the surface of the challenges within the Food System. You also get exposed to a lot of experts and participants from all over the world. . Plus the onsite experience in Rome it’s great.

Even though I come from a totally different background, it has been a great opportunity to learn a lot from all the teacher but especially from the other students. What makes special this course is the interdisciplinary approach, the fact that nothing is given for granted and the capacity to listen to all the different opinions about the presented topics. It is not a degree of course, but it allows you to get a very broad view about the link between Food and Sustainability, letting you decide which will be your next step. More than everything, it inspire people to trust the change and become the change that we want, now more than ever.

The Food and Sustainability Certificate course was excellent in terms of contents, mode of facilitation and the facilitation teams. I was thrilled how relevant the course to the global food and sustainability debate and gave me I great insight on how the world could manage our food resources. I recommend visionary leaders and learners to join this course.

Inspiring and well rounded course that provides a lot of perspective and deeper understanding of the challenges and solutions in the realm of food sustainability, led by global experts. The on-site experience was then the cherry on top that made everything feel more concrete, providing even greater value.

Il corso City Sustainability Manager è stata un'esperienza ricca di spunti e riflessioni interessanti, grazie alle testimonianze di esperti di vari settori. Il corso è ben strutturato, con una combinazione di lezioni sincrone e asincrone che favoriscono l'interazione e lo scambio di idee tra partecipanti con background diversi. Ogni modulo è curato con attenzione, offrendo la possibilità di approfondire i temi trattati. I punti di forza di questo corso includono il networking tra i partecipanti, l'esperienza on site e la preparazione dell'elaborato finale in gruppi. Voglio inoltre elogiare i referenti della scuola, sempre disponibili e competenti. Davvero una bellissima esperienza!

What impressed me most about this course and the institute is the energetic and purposeful spirit that drives it. They are all passionate and friendly which is not taken for granted, this creates a lively environment where you can broaden your vision. The lectures are well organized, touching on all the most critical aspects of sustainability in the fashion industry and showing the most innovative and up-to-date solutions. Then there is the fantastic on-site experience that makes you touch upon what you have studied.

The EIIS Applied Learning Approach had been a truly transformative experience for me. Beside the life session debates on each module topic we had to develop a project that helped solidify all the knowledge and skills we previously gained. The best part was that we were able to interact with experts and understand the challenges they face every day (depending on their geopolitical context).
I highly recommend EIIS for those in search of understanding the intricacies of what sustainability really implies.

I participated in the 3rd cohort of the Fashion & Sustainability program, which took place over 2 months of 2x/week class sessions (one self paced and one synchronous), a semester group project, a couple weeks of holiday break, and then graduation. Pros: impressive global classmates, active involvement of industry professionals who were very engaged and supportive of the program, and a culture of continuous improvement. Cons: the two day on-site in Italy is still part of tuition even if not attended, the pace is intensive but there’s not one professor owning all of the course content so discourse can feel stifled, and course materials were released by session rather than at the start of the course, which made managing the pace somewhat more challenging than necessary. But overall, the Pros greatly outweigh the Cons, and for every Con I brought up, the program offered an accommodation. I participated in two experiential programs during business school: one on public policy in Washington D.C. and one on regenerative sustainability in Copenhagen. Where this program requires a bit more personal initiative to engage deeply with course content due to those things I mentioned, the quality of course content is high, the moderators are very responsive, and the professional network is not just accessible but eager to grow. It’s a great, supportive program for professional development and I’m so happy to have taken the chance on it. I would recommend it to others.

Ho partecipato al Certificate Program di “Manager della Transizione Ecologica”. Corso ricco ed interessante, ben organizzato, un po' intenso rispetto le aspettative, più che altro per il tempo a mia disposizione. Consigliato!

Hello EIIS, I am one of the student who attended the Fashion & Sustainability Certificate Program edition 3.

It is a pleasure to share my thoughts regarding the educational experience at EIIS.
When I have enrolled in the programme, my ambition and desire was to elevate my at that time very blurred understanding of the status of the fashion industry through the sustainability lenses. I can say with certainty that this goal has been for a large part fulfilled. The various contributors had the right expertise to share and the content was structured in a way to reflect well the multidimensional and complex situation, giving the impression that the elements were mindfully kept connected and presented in a progressive manner.
The live contributions were balancing out the lack of interaction in the recorded sessions, in a way compensating for the lack of physical connection with the experts. Though, the on-site experience was pivotal to make more tangible the content presented during the lessons with real world examples. I would encourage to keep this format.
An important feedback for me has to do with the learning experience in a very practical sense. In the recorded sessions, it looked at times that the contributors were "just" reading a text, forgetting they had to convincingly present content. These cases were quite evident if contrasted with contributors that were genuinely speaking out from their expertise bucket. I often lost focus and I wish I could read later on my own the text they were reading. Of course this has to do with presenting skills of the contributors, but I would have certainly benefited to have a complementary resource to follow the content in a later stage without watching the video again (e.g. by sharing the script of the video). MIT successfully does in this way, and it enhances the learning experience. Also, more work could be done on making sure that the contributors record their video in a more neutral setting (using backgrounds for example) - somehow I think it is a distraction from the lesson content not doing so.
Finally regarding the community aspect. The digital container does not really help to let the students to really engage in conversations as much it would happen in a physical space. Though the EIIS campus on mighty has a huge potential to create debate and networking opportunities. I believe thought that students need to be stimulated to be able to share/post content there and create conversations. For example, experts could also be asked to bring in content, ideas, initiatives (workshops, events, webinars etc), that could sparkle interest among the members and initiate conversations either public or private.
I hope this feedback can be useful and looking forward to a continued relationship with EIIS in the future.

se avete 1600 euro da buttare, questo corso fa per voi. Se volete che i reclutatori a domanda specifica: il corso è fatto per persone che non hanno nessuna esperienza nel campo, e offre cioè possibilità di lavoro? rispondano assolutamente si, è fatto proprio per voi, salvo poi scoprire ( dopo aver versato tutti i soldi) che l'ambiente della biodiversità non ha fondi, non ha soldi, e che non trovano lavoro nemmeno i superspecializzati, e che tutti gli insegnanti del corso parlano sempre di " post laurea in biologia o scienze". Se volete delle slide che sembrano fatte per ragazzini delle scuole medie, questo corso è fatto per voi, se volete delle informazioni che potete trovare tranquillamente online e pagarle 1600 euro, questo corso fa per voi. se volete ricervere un " certificato" che non ha nessun valore, ne a livello academico ne a livello lavorativo, avete trovato il corso giusto. Mi pento solo di non aver registrato la telefonata del reclutatore, probabilmente mi sarei fatta restituire i soldi.

Ottima occasione di scambio di esperienze in presenza, fattore importante all'interno di un corso on line, ma soprattuto una grande opportunità di entrare in contatto con realtà altamente qualificate nell'ambito della rigenerazione urbana e la possibilità di confrontarci direttamente con figure apicali che ci hanno permesso di entrare nel dettaglio del loro operato.
