My experience at the EIIS European Innovation for Sustainability Summit in Rome was genuinely insightful and intellectually stimulating.
Having participated in the Saturday morning panel, I had the opportunity to listen to an impressive mix of authoritative speakers, forward-thinking professionals and meaningful conversations. What stood out throughout the Summit was the quality of the content: not theoretical rhetoric, but concrete reflections, strategic vision and practical perspectives delivered at a very high level.
The atmosphere across the event was both inspiring and exceptionally well curated. The choice of venue was equally remarkable, with Rome and the historic Acquario Romano providing a magnificent backdrop for such an international gathering.
I particularly appreciated the Summit’s ability to address sustainability with depth, credibility and a genuinely multidisciplinary approach, avoiding clichés and superficial narratives.
An extremely well-organised and high-calibre event that succeeds in creating real value through dialogue, expertise and vision.

Ho conosciuto EIIS – European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability con curiosità, ma devo dire che raramente negli ultimi anni mi era capitato di trovare una realtà così seria, credibile e ben costruita.

La cosa che mi ha colpito maggiormente non è soltanto il tema della sostenibilità, oggi molto “inflazionato”, ma il livello reale dei contenuti, delle persone e delle relazioni che si creano attorno a EIIS.
Si percepisce immediatamente che dietro c’è visione, competenza e soprattutto sostanza.

Ho trovato professionisti preparati, approccio internazionale, qualità organizzativa e un ambiente capace di mettere in contatto imprenditori, manager e persone di valore in modo naturale e autentico.
Ed è proprio questo, secondo me, uno degli aspetti più importanti: non si esce soltanto con nuove competenze, ma con connessioni, opportunità e relazioni che possono davvero fare la differenza nel tempo.

In un periodo storico in cui molte realtà puntano soprattutto sull’immagine, EIIS mi ha dato invece la sensazione opposta: costruire reputazione attraverso qualità, serietà e contenuti concreti.

Una bellissima scoperta, che personalmente considero tra le realtà più interessanti e autorevoli a livello Internzionale oggi su innovazione e sostenibilità .

I participated in the Executive Program – Biodiversity & Business Sustainability between October 2025 and March 2026, and I believe it was an excellent opportunity and a privilege to have learned so much with you over these past six months.

It required determination and strong focus, as alongside the Executive Program there are many professional and personal commitments. However, biodiversity is such a fascinating topic that it made the journey much easier, and the speakers consistently brought something inspiring, week after week.

Enrolling in this Executive Program was the best decision I made in 2025.

I attended the Certificate Program on Business & Human Rights between November 2025 and March 2026. The course is very comprehensive, covering relevant aspects of the topic. The methodology, a mix of self-paced learning (readings, videos and questions to develop), online sessions and group work, promotes active learning and engagement. Moreover, the on-site experience in Geneva to launch the program is an excellent way to jump into the topic and get to meet other participants (I found the diversity of background among participants really enriching).
I recommend this course to anyone who wishes to acquire a comprehensive view of the main challenges and opportunities related to Business & Human Rights.

One of the most valuable experiences of this course was the opportunity to interact with experts from all over the world — not just as speakers, but as classmates. Learning alongside professionals with such diverse backgrounds truly elevated every discussion.

Working in teams across different time zones was definitely a challenge, but it made the experience even more enriching. It pushed us to communicate better, collaborate more intentionally, and appreciate different perspectives in a very real way.

Having the chance to listen to and directly engage with expert speakers was another highlight. Being able to ask questions and exchange ideas with leaders in the field added tremendous value to the learning process.

The live sessions were dynamic, engaging, and genuinely fun — something that’s not always easy to achieve in an online format.

And as if that wasn’t enough, closing the program in Rome was simply fascinating — the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a truly global, collaborative, and inspiring learning experience.

Ho fatto il corso come manager della biodiversità. Sin dal primo contatto telefonico con la persona addetta c'è stata tanta disponibilità e gentilezza nel spiegarmi come fosse strutturato il corso, cordialità continuata anche una volta ultimato il percorso formativo. Il corso e' ben strutturato, permette di crescere in più settori con professionisti che spiegano in modo eccellente e sempre disponibili a chiarire ogni dubbio.
La professionalità si riscontra anche nei professionisti che hanno lavorato direttamente sul corso per renderlo sempre più stimolante e ben strutturato, professionalità e competenza riscontrata anche nell' oasi che ci ha ospitato nell' uscita organizzata di un weekend perché non vi è solo studio ma anche lavoro sul campo e tanta passione. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia ampliare le proprie conoscenze per passione o per aumentare le prospettive lavorative.

The 10th edition of the EIIS food and sustainability course was not only invigorating but also introduced me to many people from diverse backgrounds around the world, whom I now count as friends. From start to finish, the EIIS staff were always on hand to assist and answer questions. A special mention to Sara and Sveva, both of whom always had a smile. The onsite experience went above and beyond what any of us expected. I can't recommend this course highly enough, as it is not just educational but also inspirational.

The Food & Sustainability course gives you a wide subject of topics relating to sustainability. From traditional farming to agroecology, to the SDG framework, the correlation between food and health, in depth insights about foodwaste- and loss ... Each topic was presented by specialists in the field, who encouraged us to reflect on how we can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Thanks to the course I had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with an international group of dedicated foodies. Each one of them focused on one goal: making the food chain a little bit better for out planet.

The culmination of the course takes place in Rome, where we were immersed in a two-day program that perfectly balances educational content with a touch of gastronomy.

The EIIS Food & Sustainability course has been equally enriching and inspiring, covering all aspects of food sustainability throughout the entire value chain. It featured highly engaging content and discussions with top-level guest experts, which encouraged us to reflect on how we can contribute (through our diverse areas of expertise) to solving the challenges currently affecting the food system.

Special mention goes to the organization of the course, both its online component, with a highly intuitive and educational platform, and the on-site experience in Rome, where training activities were seamlessly combined with networking and gastronomy.

On June, I completed the Food and Sustainability Certificate Program at the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability, and it was genuinely transformative. The course offered rich, solution-oriented content on food systems, climate change, and innovation. What truly made it special was the sense of belonging it created.

The live sessions took place every Thursday. At the time, I was working in Mallorca, in a stressful environment and those sessions became the highlight of my week. They were inspiring, energising, and gave me a real sense of community. In a moment when the climate crisis and social inequality can feel overwhelming, these sessions brought me hope, connection, and the feeling that meaningful change is still possible.

A huge part of this atmosphere came from Sveva, who led the course with incredible warmth and positivity. She connected us, encouraged open dialogue, and genuinely listened to every participant. Her presence made the group feel safe, motivated, and united.
I was also deeply impressed by the participants themselves with their humanity, professional experiences, diverse backgrounds, and perspectives that were truly enriching. The cultural diversity within the group created powerful discussions, fostered empathy, and allowed us to build meaningful connections that made the learning experience even more impactful.
The program also features an impressive lineup of high-quality experts, from world-renowned scholars like Jeffrey Sachs to professionals who have already transformed parts of the food system and turned their sustainability dreams into reality. Their guidance made the course not only informative but profoundly motivating.

One of the most inspiring experiences was visiting Quinto Sapore, a farm that embodies biodiversity, long-term thinking, and authentic care for the land. Seeing regenerative agriculture in practiced so sincerely reinforced everything I learned.

This program offers knowledge, hope, community, and a genuine sense of belonging. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking both expertise and a deeply human learning experience on the path toward a more sustainable future.

Questi 8 mesi mi hanno fatto conoscere un mondo che ho tanto desiderato e vissuto "in superficie" ma che non avevo mai approfondito. Amo il mare e ora ho iniziato a conoscerlo in molti più aspetti e soprattutto a come aiutare, nel mio lavoro, ragazzi e ragazze ad apprezzare la sua bellezza e a proteggerla in un modo più consapevole. Non ultimo, il percepire nell'esperienza On Sea, che le persone che apprezzavo dal video hanno mostrato un'autenticità e passione anche In presenza. Grazie

The Whale Watching Guide course was very interesting.
I liked the way the modules were constructed, with live classes and videos to combine the lessons.

The highlight for me was the On Sea Experience, were we created bounds with our fellow classmates and teachers, and learned to collect scientific data as well as living on a boat for three days. I highly recommend it!

Tra la frenesia del lavoro e i pensieri quotidiani, era il giorno in cui potevo respirare il mare e lasciarmi guidare dal canto dei cetacei.
Quelle ore trascorse a esplorare il loro mondo, accanto a persone animate dalla stessa meraviglia e da studiosi, docenti e guide che univano competenza, passione e professionalità sono state un rifugio prezioso.
L’esperienza on sea vivrà per sempre nel mio cuore, insieme ai volti, ai sorrisi e alle emozioni condivise con chi ha navigato con me in questa straordinaria avventura.

The Whale Watching Guide course by EIIS was an outstanding experience — both educational and inspiring. It provided a solid foundation in marine mammal identification, responsible whale watching practices, and acoustic awareness. The combination of theoretical lessons, scientific insight, and real-life case studies gave me a deep understanding of how to operate ethically and sustainably at sea.

The instructors were highly knowledgeable and passionate, creating an engaging learning environment that blended marine biology, conservation, and guiding techniques seamlessly. I especially appreciated the focus on environmental responsibility and the importance of minimizing human impact on cetaceans.

This course not only strengthened my professional skills as a guide but also deepened my connection with the ocean and its inhabitants. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in marine conservation, ecotourism, or whale watching operations.

Il corso è stato davvero formativo e ricco di spunti concreti. La challenge, che ci ha accompagnati dall'inizio alla fine dell'anno, è stata un’occasione unica per mettersi in gioco in gruppo, imparare a collaborare con veri appassionati e affrontare un progetto reale. Gli esperti sono stati fonte di ispirazione cosi come i ragazzi con cui ho avuto la fortuna di condividere l'esperienza. Sarebbe stato bello avere più opportunità di vederci in persona! During the course Food and Sustainability offered by EIIS, we were provided with a broad range of topics, from sustainable agriculture to circular economy, from food waste to international agricultural development. This made the course enriching at the same time that it provided a well rounded introduction to many topics related to sustainability. There are additional resources provided if you want to delve deeper into a particular topic, however, the course itself moves at a fast pace which makes it hard to delve deeply into specific area without one's own initiative.

The course brings people together from many backgrounds, geogrophies, opinions and ages, making conversations dynamic and intriguing.

In addition, the organizer of the course Sveva is a wonderful person, always available to resolve any challenges you might be having, from navigating the online platform to course material.

Overall I would recommend this course if you wish to have a pleasant experience exploring different themes related to sustainability.
