Order placed 7th September 2023. Received only 20 off boxes instead of ordered 30 off.
After a month still have not received my order in full.
This pseudo-company did not send me the missing items.
I will have to report to enforcement institutions.

Read other reviews and stay away from them!!!

Not only sent me the wrong item but its broken too ! No wonder as it arrived in just the box, no outer packaging. Phoned today and they said they would refund when they receive it via parcelforce tomorrow, yet there is no email from parcel force informing us of a collection. Reading the negative experiences here getting a bit worried now...wish I'd read them first before ordering !

My order was dispatched with lightning speed and Nick couldn't have been more helpful when the couriers let me down.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

Really poor

Really poor. Ordered dimmer switches at about £90 from memory. Had our electrician on site. The inner switch components did not work. Our electrician went out and bought replacements (at our cost and time). We contacted them and they said to send them back. We sent back the faulty switches. The plates were already fitted by our electrician and we couldn’t afford to call him out again at a later date to fit the plates also. The company refused a refund, said they were going to have them tested and then said they couldn’t test them without the outer plates (which is nonsense as they work independently of the switches as they are only cosmetic covers). We have gone back and forth on this now for two weeks. At no point has there been an apology. My husband got involved today to explain more technically. They have offered £7.50 partial compensation. We have the whole house to replace switches on and a good response to this issue would have guaranteed we would have used them for all switches. Now, nothing.
Most companies are less defensive but this has been such a waste of energy I can only say avoid!

Stock is not accurate on website

Purchased an extractor fan stating 2-3 days delivery, to receive an email stating "we are currently waiting for stock to come from the supplier, we are hoping to be able to get the stock into us within the next 7-10 working days"

Call to cancel order and complain. On 6th call got through to them. They happily cancelled order but Advised they don't deal with complaints as they are an electrical wholesaler. They then advised they recived my order and emailed me, emphasising they done this quicky (I agree, it was within 25 minutes)

However I advised website still shows 2-3 days depsite not being in stock. They advise they don't update the website with there stock levels

Not impressed, as I now need to wait for the refunded money appears so I can re-order from a company that tracks inventory before taking payment

I will not use them again

Buyer beware........ just avoid them!

total lack of customer care! Ordered a Zip instant water boiler on 9th March. plumber was able to fit it yesterday 28th March. Only at that point was it noted that there is a crack in the tank and it leaks water everywhere! Telephoned Electricpoint immediately and their agent said they will ring Zip and get back to me. Rang again only to find that there were no notes on the account and the new agent told me to take the matter up with Zip. I pointed out under the consumer rights act the goods being supplied by them are their responsibility. He then said we have a right to try to put it right and the only way to do it is for you to call Zip. I repeated that it is not my place to call zip - Electricpoint are the supplier so it is up to electric point to deal with Zip. He repeated we have rights that include giving us the opportunity to repair the item. I agreed - but they were not trying to put it right - they were telling me to contact Zip. I asked for his name which he refused to give me - clearly going no where so I put the phone down and rang Zip direct - they were lovely, helpful, prompt and courteous.

As they say - buyer beware....... cannot recommend this company and will never use it again

Highly recommended based on our experience

I believe we mostly only take the time to review a company when we have experienced an issue, something that happens to the best of us, hence I am taking the time to leave positive feedback. This is the first time we have ordered from Electricpoint, and based on our experience, would highly recommend this company. Good prices, easy to navigate website, good communication with tracked delivery, and received the full order within two working days of order, which was well packaged. No hesitation in ordering from this company again.

Brilliant service. Genuinely first class

I never leave reviews but feel I have too this time.
I nearly never bought from this site but am really glad I did. Not only was the pricing much better than other sites, I contacted these guys to ensure I could get the heater in time. They nessaged me back within 12 hours. I ordered that day and got it delivered the next day.

The service was brilliant. After reading the negative reviews I nearly got put off but so glad I didn't. I emailed them to say I was going to leave a review and they emailed me back about their small and very hard working team who really do care about their business and the service they give and I felt that Is definitely the case.

Yes sometimes companies get it wrong but do not be put off they are great and hope they stay in business for a long time.

I would use again

It was only after I ordered a wall heater, on back order, from this company did I read all the bad reviews on trust pilot.
I did think at least I bought with credit card. I needn’t have worried as it came by delivery about 2 weeks later which what I expected on back order. All good no issues

Had concerns but perfect service.

I looked on TrustPilot before making the order & was a little concerned. But reading the reviews I did check the items showed as ‘In Stock’ before proceeding. I had great service & received my items 08:00 the next day. Nice items at a good price.

Poor customer service

Customer service is very poor in this company. I was promised emails back, phone calls & never received them. My order never turned up from the supplier which resulted in us having to change dates with customers. Had a refund in the end & ordered from elsewhere. Won’t be using this company again.

We received great service

We received great service when we called to expedite the delivery of a storage heater for an elderly lady during the cold spell.

The communication was excellent and the service received by the driver was outstanding. They went above and beyond exceeding our expectations.

ordered a shower, waiting for a refund

ordered a shower, recieved an email after stating 10-14 days wait for stock, does not state on the webpage anything about stock, even if you change to click and collect, emailed to cancel, heard nothing, so called 5 days later, told the refund was issued, recieved email confirmation, no refund as yet. Very poor service, even though the person i spoke to was polite and helpful, opened a PayPal dispute and got my refund

Ignores customers/problems

I bought an expensive storage heater from this company (Oct. 2022). They are responsive when discussing a possible sale, and once ordered, the goods arrived promptly.

Unfortunately, the item turned out to be defective. My attempts to communicate with them to get a repair or replacement have been completely ignored.

I am now at the point of filing a claim in the County Court against them, and it seems like a pity to end up with this as my only remaining option.

UPDATE: 2023/02/02. I received a reply from the company from someone who was very apologetic about previous communications having been missed. I have been assured that the matter is going to be pursued, and that they are taking it seriously.

Hopefully this will get it resolved!

UPDATE 2023/02/22: The company have been unable to resolve the faults with the heater, and have agreed to take it back and refund me. The root cause of the problem is the manufacturer's inability to honor its guarantee.

UPDATE 2023/03/01: After many months, and more trouble than I thought possible, they have taken the thing away and refunded me. Overall, rather disappointing that this has taken so long, and the problems with the product could not be resolved.

Excellent Customer Service would definitely use this company again

I was surprised to read a few negative reviews on this company I have an excellent service. An extraction fan bought just under a year ago developed a fault. I contacted electricpoint and they were advised my different options. I opted to buy a new fan and send back the old one once the new one was fitted. I was contacted by customer services to get the returned fan refunded, the whole process was very smooth. The customer service team were very polite and helpful.

Poor service and communication, slow delivery

Poor service and communication, slow delivery.

I bought from Electricpoint noting the estimated delivery times, however they hadn't even bothered to dispatch the items after the end of the expected delivery date, I contacted them by email but received no response. I then contacted them again and finally got a response saying the items weren't due to be dispatched for another few days, after pushing back they managed to get the item sent out that day.

This was a frustrating experience and I definitely wouldn't use them again, especially if you want your order in a timely manner.

Customer service doesn’t seem to exist

Bought some screwless light switches and plugs but one came with the screws visible.
Trying to contact them but it’s not working. They don’t reply to my emails and don’t answer my calls
