I had a very poor experience with ePower who installed my electric car charger. The charger was initially installed by two ePower engineers on the day. They never tested the unit before leaving. When I went to charge my car for the first time I was getting error fault messages on the Zappi. I was back and forth via email to the support team who were getting me to change all sorts of settings but still now luck. A service call out was arranged to find the ribbon wire on the inside of the Zappi had been punctured in two locations. A new ribbon wire was installed. Still the Zappi wasn't happy and the engineer was onto MyEnergy tech team to change all sorts of settings. He then had to go and left me on the phone to MyEnergy for another hour back and forth changing settings. While the Zappi then started working it still wasn't happy and would occasionally give error messages. It transpired the CT Clamp for the Zappi hadn't been installed by the first installers. This was corrected on a third engineers visit however the CT clamp was put on backwards and was showing the energy flow on my Zappi and Eddi in the reverse direct to what it should have been so another service call was arranged to sort this. Finally I have a working Zappi as it should after alot of time on the phone and time off work.
What really annoyed me was during one of my conversations with the customer support team, I was told I needed to contact my solar installer or MyEnergy to correct the issues. I put my food down and said I was raising a formal complaint as it was they (ePower) caused the issue in the first place, my Solar & Eddi were working perfectly fine until they went at it to install the charger. As soon as I mentioned "formal complaint" they agreed to the service call.
Poor customer service . Trying to get a home charger sorted since Dec 2025 but the main guy I am dealing with is appalling customer service wise . No replies despite mutiple emails and calls. Wouldnt recommend these guys at all.
Got the charger with a good price, there were some hiccups with the way installation was done and some communication, but Patrick and Chantelle were great at the end and everything works well now.

I recently had a problem with my home charger and was very impressed with the level of customer service - probably the most helpful support I can remember in recent years. Ultimately the unit had to be replaced, but with minimal fuss and maximum customer service! Thank you.

Installation was fine but support service is delayed to the point of being useless. I have an issue where the unit itself won’t charge my car & I’ve been told I can expect to wait 48-72 hours for a call back as they are busy with new installations ??? Seriously that is terrible customer service. Very disappointing

Got our new EV charger installed today by Epower . The electrician was Rachel and we have to say she did an amazing job from start to finish . Arrived on time , did the job perfectly and left the area spotless when finished . We are now up and running with our new Autel charger . Thanks Rachel 👍🏻 Top marks 👍🏻👍🏻

We got the Zappi Glo charger for our EV car. I find the ePower very efficient all the way from Sales to after sales service. Sales girl Hannah is amazing and Technical support guy Patrick is wonderful too! Thanks a lot guys

Great customer support from Patrick who helped me get myenergi app running on my phone and successfully paired with my charger. He was very patient, knew the menu options for the Zappi inside out and was able to guide me clearly through the process.

Do not ever use E‑Pair.
I had one of the worst charging experiences I’ve ever had. I was charged €50 for a 40-minute charging session, which is already outrageous. On top of that, I signed up for their app once, and without any clear warning they started charging me a €20 monthly subscription.
When I tried to cancel that subscription, it somehow got even worse, they charged me another €50 just for cancelling. Yes, you read that right: paying extra money just to stop being charged.
This feels predatory, opaque, and deliberately designed to squeeze money out of users who just need to charge their car. Prices are unclear, subscriptions are sneaky, and cancellation is punished instead of being straightforward.
Worst service I’ve ever dealt with in EV charging. Zero transparency, zero trust, and zero chance I’ll ever use this company again. There are plenty of other charging providers out there - use literally any of them instead.

I have to start by saying that Patrick (Technical Support) was excellent. He was so helpful when trying to resolve the issue remotely. However, I contacted EPower on a Friday to let them know that my car wasn’t charging and was told it was a callback service. When I didn’t get a call on Monday, I rang again. Still no callback on Tuesday so I rang a third time. For this period, I had a car which wasn’t charging but was using up what charge was in the battery. I found this to be very stressful and poor customer service.
