I got an EV charger installed under the SEAI grant scheme and the staff at Epower were fantastic from start to finish. Emma was very helpful throughout the initial sign up phase and simplified the process tremendously. The installer that came, Rachel, was fantastic and so personable. She did an impeccable job and could not have been nicer or more helpful. The charger is working great. Thanks to all for their help!

Patrick Keane conducted a remote inspection using camera on my mobile phone of my home electric car charger which was not functioning.
He was pleasant, patient, gave clear instructions and helped me through the trouble shooting process and reprogrammed my charger quickly and efficiently.

Easy to find the nearest chargers, easy to filter the ones I needed and navigation to one I chose was seamless.
Great customer service from an informed team. They were easy to deal with and explained things very clearly. We had a 12 panel solar installation and saving money already. Very happy.
Installation was delayed for 2 weeks. Also not happy how the charger was installed. I have asked them to fit the cable so that it won’t be visible on my wall (either go though the ground or inside the wall. At the end they used white channel which makes my front of the house not very appealing. Also they drilled into brick and not into a mortar, which will make it harder to fix that in the future. + the charger was not sealed around the edges where it touches the wall. All around terrible.
Got a car charger through epower. Twice it has broken. Still waiting on a replacement charger. Emails going unanswered and no sign of a promised call back. Also told i'd get a call from sales to discuss options for an alternative charger. No call either. Very unprofessional. Also avoid EO chargers if possible - sourced by epower. They are a disaster.
I had a problem with house router not connecting with zappi car charger. I rang up Tech support which were helpful and knowledgeable. They sent a technician Derek Crowe out to my house to resolve the issue and i found him and his expertise absolutely excellent. Issue resolved quickly and professionally.

Sub Standard scheduling, service and warranty, unfinished installation, configuration and communication, avoided warranty and technical support, "pass the parcel" save yourself the stress and find another provider
I enquired about purchasing a Zappi ev charger and was asked to submit photos of my electric meter and fuseboard which I did. I then received the following reply which is totally incorrect. Due to the incorrect information I was given I had to pay €120 for an electrician to call to my home and was advised by him that the wiring is in fact entirely suitable for an ev charger unit as it is sixteen square cable. Needless to say I wont be using epower . Train your staff properly ! If your customer service is as you portray I should be reimbursed for this charge as it is ePower's fault ???

Thank you for the information which you have sent so far.
Upon review it looks like the supply tails coming into your property are undersized to take the demand of a home EV charger.
Safe Electric Ireland regulations state that the tails supplying both the meter and fuse board need to be a minimum size of 16 square.
You will need to contact a private Safe Electric registered electrician in order to complete a certification of your property and have any upgrades identified complete prior to the installation of a home EV charger.
You can find a list of registered Safe Electric contractors in your area here.

ESB Networks will also need to be contacted to complete connection of the supply tails into the meter.
After this work has been completed, we would be able to continue with the process. I have attached a quote for after this work has been completed. The quote includes upgrading the main switch in you fuseboard and adding surge protection to the main fuseboard which are both required. Alternatively, you could have your own electrician do this when he is upgrading the tails in your meter. If you don't already have an earth rod, you will also need one of these installed before installing an EV charger.

Atrocious Customer Service. Ordered an EV charger on 19th May no sign of delivery after a week. Emailed to query and took 48 hours for a reply. No apology. Eventually discovered that item was out of stock and just offered a refund. Am still waiting for Manager to contact me 29th May.
Extremely disappointing Customer Service
We had our Zappi ev charger by Rachael H. and her workmanship was first class. Rachael was very easy to deal with and gave me great advice and help on how to operate the Zappi and also cleaned up any dust she created (which was very little really).
Thanks also to Dzan for his efficient process while ordering, purchasing and paying for our Zappi.
And also thanks to Patrick K. for solving our software issue. First class service throughout.
Excellent customer service experience. They fitted an Ohme Pro home ev charging unit for us a couple of weeks ago.
Prompt responses by email and phone calls to queries.
Installed by a very efficient helpful fitter who explained the operation of the unit in detail. Also cleaned up and removed waste material and packaging from our house.
Would highly recommend Epower.
The Ohme charger they supplied is very easy to use and programme through its app. Calculates most efficient charging time based on our electricity provider's plan.

Planned an installation for two weeks after ordering the unit. Worked from home to be around for the installation process. My ev battery was low as I was expecting to be able to charge that night. They cancelled my installation at the time they were supposed to arrive, suggesting a new appointment two days later. Now I’m struggling to find a charger so I can get the kids to school and myself to work tomorrow. Shit service.
Had an EV charger installed very efficient and always someone to talk to on phone. 2 years later small problem with fuse, sorted very quickly with no charge. Very responsive and customer focused. Great company well done!
