EPower have some of the best customer service out there. They respond quickly, with professionalism, and without drama. I had an unusal issue with a Zappi cable that was stuck/affixed in my dead car - they unthethered the cable from the house unit so the car could be towed. They also returned as soon as I contacted them to reattach the cable. Zero fuss, and excellent follow up by Patrick.

E power said there is NO standing charges I was informed that there is standing charge because of what type of smart meter I have think this company is telling wee white lies!!

E-Power – Zappi Glo Installation & Experience
E-Power installed our new Zappi Glo EV charger two weeks ago. The installation team arrived on schedule and were professional throughout. However, there did seem to be a disconnect between the sales team and the installation contractor (Circet). I had originally been led to believe the charger could be installed on a wall opposite the fuse box, but the installers flagged several issues with this location. In the end, we had to place it at the front of the house—a position I hadn’t wanted—and now the white casing is sitting on red brick. Not ideal, but manageable.
That said, the installation team of three were excellent: efficient, helpful, and genuinely focused on making sure we were satisfied. The only downside was that, due to spending longer than expected on-site, they left before confirming that the charger was actually charging the car. All electrical tests were done, but unfortunately the car wasn’t receiving a charge.
We discovered this the next day and contacted E-Power, thinking it might be an issue with the MyEnergi app conflicting with our solar setup. After some back-and-forth, E-Power logged an emergency call-out. As it was late on a Friday, the engineer came on Monday afternoon. He found a loose internal connection in the unit and had everything working within 20 minutes. Since then, the charger has been performing well.
A few comments on the Zappi Glo itself (not E-Power’s fault):
• Authorisation requires a physical tap card, and only one is supplied. It can’t be stored digitally, which seems risky if the card is lost.
• Adding the charger to the MyEnergi app is not straightforward if you already have an existing ecosystem—for us, it required creating a second ecosystem, which feels counterintuitive.
• Cable storage on the unit is limited, and the cable doesn’t sit neatly when not in use.
Overall, I’m happy with the charger and very satisfied with E-Power’s customer support—they were a pleasure to deal with throughout. I just wanted to highlight these points for anyone considering the new Zappi Glo.

Patrick was unbelievably helpful in helping deal with software update problems in a Zappi car charger and Eddi. After 3 phone calls today they are both working perfectly. I have not such excellent customer service in a very long time! If only other businesses were as good!!!

Epower installed an EV charger in our house yesterday. Their staff are incredibly skilled, friendly, efficient and courteous. The Sales Executive was clear, quick and efficient. Their electrician was meticulous, worked none-stop -in the pouring rain- and he cleaned up after him. Finally, their technical support wizard solved a problem quickly, patiently and beyond his normal working day. Could not have wished for a better business to deal with. Epower staff are a credit to their organization.

Great experience with epower from the first call to the day of installation. Would highly recommend. They lay out everything you need to do in a very simple manner including how to claim back the SEAI Grant.
