GID are a financial services business operating exclusively in the automotive industry. The company was launched in 2010 having previously provided the same service for 15 years when part of Bank of Scotland. Changing vehicle is a significant event in people’s lives. The compliance-led service is designed to provide important information and offer free financial services advice enabling customers to make informed decisions in relation to certain Financial Services products such as Mechanical Breakdown Insurance and GAP Insurance which is only available for a limited period after taking delivery of the vehicle. GID partner with dealers, lenders and brokers who prefer to outsource this work to a specialist firm.

The lady was very friendly, explained the product very well that was easy to understand. Gave a first class presentation of the product, nice to talk to a human being.

recently arranged my new car finance and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The process was smooth, straightforward, and clearly explained from start to finish. Everything was handled quickly and professionally, which made what can sometimes feel stressful completely hassle-free.

Had a phone call with Wayne Taylor…

Had a phone call with Wayne Taylor today and couldn’t thank him enough. Excellent customer service from him, he was so lovely and patient with me and just a genuinely lovely person to talk to. He thoroughly explain everything to me to ensure i was fully aware and understood the information being given to me, Really reccomend and can’t thank him enough.

Great customer service

Just had a call with Wayne Taylor from GID ltd. Exceptional customer service. Extremely friendly and informative. Was very helpful and explained everything very clearly. The product is good and very reasonable. As someone who is now using g their car more for work the gap insurance is great peace of mind should the worse happen. First time I’ve ever considered Gap insurance since I’ve been driving but the benefits out weighed the cons. Thanks again. Bev and Mike

Wayne was a smart and professional rep.

Wayne was very professional, respectful and friendly,
Explained the process and products to me very clearly, was not inpatient with me despite repeatedly asking him to repeat some of the things I did not fully understand.
At the first instance, he could not secure an appointment with me, he persevered, calling daily at same time until I gave in.
He was also not patronizing, yet convincing. A very smart representative of GID.
