I'm sorry this has taken longer than expected, and I completely understand your frustration.
Looking at the correspondence between you and our support team, the refund was issued on Thursday, after our gift card provider confirmed that the card had been deactivated. Usually, automated refunds take 1–3 working days to appear back on the payment method originally used.
If the refund hasn’t reached you within the next few days, please don’t hesitate to get back in touch with our support team. We can then request the refund letter from our finance team for you and help move things forward.

Not worth the hassle
Make sure you read all the small print, there are lots of limitations on how you can redeem the gift cards. Customer service directed me to this site as I was unable to redeem the whole value of my giftcard on their sister site giftcards.co.uk without paying much more to them for a larger value giftcard which I did not want. This site allowed more giftcard options but I still had to add money to be able to redeem the giftcard. I also still have to wait for it to be delivered by post so plan ahead if you want to use it. I just hope it turns up without more hassle.
Seems like a nice way to give options to the recipient of the giftcard but just left me with a load of hassle. I wouldn't use this or the sister site and advise you not to either!
