Scam, Already reported for fraudulent activity. No idea how this company still exists..

Its a scam. You domt receive any gift card

Sent a gift ya and asked my sister if she received. She did not and then in order to try and resolve matter, you are chatting with a bot and waiting for a call to get full refund. This company appears to be a scam. If they call back and refund my money I will update my experience but for now not a reliable company in that it didn’t deliver what was deducted from my credit card account. Scam. Stay away unless u want to lose your money.

Giftya is awful. They charged my card and then sent me an email hours later saying the order was canceled and there was nothing they can do about it. They emailed me saying there was nothing the call center could do and I should go to the online support which didn’t help me at all. This is the email I received. “Unfortunately, we cannot solve this issue in our call center or by sending in a ticket. If you are an existing customer, please visit our Help Center.” This is unacceptable customer service especially when a customer is spending hundreds of dollars to deliver a gift to someone very important.

I ordered a $50 Chipotle gift card on Christmas Day 2024 through Giftya, to be sent via text. Then I read the reviews on this site which stressed me out and had me pretty worried. But the person I had the gift card texted to was able to click on the link sent in the text (it was sent just a few minutes after I purchased it) and then choose the button requesting to redeem it as a Chipotle gift card. She was not asked to enter any personal information to do this. She used the gift card today with no problems. So for us this site worked well.

Sent $75 to my daughter for Christmas. It is so disappointing that she isn’t able to use the money. There is only a chat bot for customer service and it doesn’t ever answer my concerns. This seems to be a scam.

Complete crooked scam! Bought 4 gift cards, $300 in total. None work. Trying to get customer servcie, they say they will call me, never did. Out $300 and very embarrassed. SHUT THEM DOWN! But don't use them.

My mother-in-law sends me an "Amazon gift card" every year for Christmas. So I didn't pay much attention this time when it asked my bank information, which I stupidly gave "to connect the gift card to my Amazon through my debt card". Boy, oh boy. Too late I realized the scam. The money is invisible, and I keep seeing this "company" adding small amounts into my card only to immediately taking them back. It does not help trying to talk with them. I guess I am in trouble.

I bought this gift card with picture for my granddaughter. BEWARE. They don’t work. No money on the card when I went to redeem. No one answered customer service line. SCAM

Horrible--This is THEFT!!! I bought a gift card for my daughter that she was unable to use. I can't get my money back. I can't reach anything but a computerized chat. She didn't get anything but embarrassed when checking out and unable to access her money. I will find a way to report them.

Scam! stay away! found it odd at first that they had a Sirius XM gift card for the amount of $5, an amount which doesn't exist anywhere else, but went ahead and paid anyway and was never sent the code to my email.

This a scam. My daughter can not tie her Giftya Door Dash text to her DoorDash account to use it. They are asking her for her debit card or banking information to send the money to that, instead of it being an actual gift card. You should NOT have to give personal banking information to use a gift card. Their customer service is a CHAT BOT that can only answer pre programmed questions. No refunds no returns.

SCAM. DO NOT USE! Purchased an Amazon gift card that had a $1.95 purchasing fee. Recipient never received it despite accuracy of email address. Contacted giftya phone number and there is no way to speak to live voice. “Live chat” was ridiculously unhelpful. Only way I received refund is by contacting Better Business Bureau. This site should be renamed” griftya” and permanently shut down.

Giftya is plainly a scam; their own website tries to explain away all their negative reviews on a page dedicated to telling people that the company ISN'T a scam. The snake-oil sales continue as Giftya claims that their proprietary gift "technology" is "next-generation" and that people are merely skeptical due to their fear of change...
My mom tried to order her friend a DoorDash giftcard and ended up with Giftya; her friend did not want to redeem the "card," as it requires giving Giftya your bank card information (so they can "reimburse you" after you buy things with your own money). Not wanting to lose her money, my mom tried getting on the Giftya website, but kept running into problems figuring out how to redeem the money herself. She changed the recipient to be me, because you can Zelle yourself the giftcard balance instead of spending it; this option will cost you an additional $3.99. There are other weird options like "transfer your balance to an egift card after 24 hours." So what they are selling is not an actual giftcard, "e" or otherwise, and you don't seem to be able to access the money until some later point. I did get the $31.01 through Zelle after a few hours. Adding in the initial purchasing fee, my mom basically paid Giftya $6 to hold on to her money for a month.

Cannot recommend. Card has been denied many times, followed directions still no satisfaction. Called customer service #, after many prompts waited patiently for customer service rep and after minutes waiting, twice disconnected. Not sure if scam or not, feels like one. There are many better choices! Don't waste your time and money. This was a card my wife received. I received one also and had it sent to me as a Zelle payment, was charged a 3.99 fee on a 25.00 gift, recieved 21.10. Zelle is a free service! Made another call this morning (9-30-24) regarding my wife's card, waited 3 minutes with music, then disconnected again. Tried again after 10 a.m. thinking maybe they start late, waited to 3 minute hold time for a Rep and was then disconnected.

Giftya is a total scam. I sent a gift card to my son and he cannot activate it and there's no one at the company that can help. The virtual Chat is totally worthless. I am out $100 and will dispute the charge on my credit card.

Less than one star. Impossible to get any customer service. A total waste of my time.

Do not under any circumstances send this company your money. Let me break it down for you if you send someone $100 giftya card they have to link that card to an active bank card and when they use that bank card to shop at the appointed Merchant gift will reimburse them 3 to 5 days later. My card was appointed for use at uber. I linked it to my card but couldn't use the gift card because you first have to have the money in your account to cover the charge at the merchant and then gift your will reimburse you 3 to 5 days later. They didn't reimburse me I have three charges at Uber from over a week ago they haven't reimbursed me and now they keep sending me a code to log into their website that's not being received by my phone so I can't even log in. Do not do not do not I repeat do not involve yourself with this company

Less than a star. I used to send my cousin a gift card to purchase food. It was a complete disaster. They take the money and the 1.95 fee immediately and take their time to send the gift card. Once my cousin finally got it she had issue after issue getting to it. She still hasn’t been able to use as what was supposed to take “seconds” still says pending and now she has to wait on an email from support because there is no live support option. Meanwhile no food and canceling and getting a refund takes days and now I do t have more money to send her. Don’t waste your time or money this is a huge scam to soak up fees. She can’t even re-gift it without paying an additional 1.95. Such a scam!

Terrible - ordered gift card for someone's bday (to be delivered digitally - never arrived - no chat on site/pathetic.
