Knowledgeable, efficient, and polite plumber
We had a slow leak from our bathroom into our kitchen through the ceiling. Our insurance company arranged for Go2gas to visit. They called and gave us a time slot as soon as they recieved the job and gave updates on the plumbers arrival time. Brandon/Tyler was very knowledgeable, efficient and polite. Our leak was fixed quickly with minimal disruption. Would recommend.

Go 2 Gas- Disappointing and Unprofessional Service
My experience with Go 2 Gas, as part of my insurance claim through AXA, has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. The unprofessional conduct of, a manager at Go 2 Gas, combined with the negligence in handling repairs at my property, has left me deeply dissatisfied.
On January 7th, 2025, I notified AXA that I no longer wanted Go 2 Gas to perform work at my property. Despite this, I was told I had no choice but to allow them to proceed. This decision has caused significant stress and inconvenience, exacerbated by Go 2 Gas’s negligence and managers dismissive attitude.
The managers conduct during a phone call was particularly appalling. When I raised concerns about a blown PCB board, which I believe resulted from their failure to properly inspect the boiler, manager responded condescendingly, stating, “What do you know? You are not a heating engineer we don’t need to inspect the boiler” so why did the make me wait for 36 hours for initial call out they could have just ordered the parts ! The manager was clearly deluded, Such remarks are unprofessional and unacceptable.
Additionally, Management assured me that replacement PCB boards were readily available on their engineers’ vans. However, when the engineer arrived on January 8th, 2025, not only did he confirm the PCB board was blown—as I had anticipated—but he did not have the part and stated it needed to be ordered. This directly contradicted managers assurance and appears to be part of a pattern of false promises and poor communication.
The damage to the PCB board could have been avoided if proper inspections had been conducted. Their failure to remove the boiler cover and detect the leak demonstrates clear negligence.
This ordeal has been exhausting, and the dismissive, threatening tone from the manager, combined with the mishandling of the situation, has eroded any confidence I had in Go 2 Gas.
I will report to any governing bodies that Go 2 Gas are a member of.
I strongly advise others to avoid Go 2 Gas for their lack of professionalism, integrity, and accountability I got a reputable company to come and put right their mistakes this was done in less than 24 hours unlike the 6 days without hot water and 4 days with no heating caused by Go 2 Gas incompetence. They also had my original review removed as I named the manager ! Your only allowed to name people if you write a good review as you will see on other reviews but they will ask for review to be removed if you call out individuals for bad service and abusive behaviour
Friendly and competent
Jake H had a lot of jobs to get through before us, with more to attend after on a busy cold evening ... but was still friendly, polite and worked through the causes of our leaks, solving them both. Really pleased he got to us!

Freezing to warm in seconds
Two days of no heat in a living and business area. This company were sent as part of an insurance policy I have. The slot was 9 to 6 originally and I was giving up by 8 when a very personable call came saying they were on the way, I have never encountered service like this. Fantastic approach and amazing diagnostic skills. Literally got to the heart of it all in seconds. And didn’t make me feel stupid! Thank you to the lovely Jamie and I am definitly going to be using this company again. Totally amazing service.

Brandon and kitchen leak
Brandon came to look at a kitchen sink leak just before Christmas. Although we had to wait longer than we would have liked for the appointment, he was worth the wait. He was thorough, polite and checked everything for us before he left. We were so relieved he fixed the problem for us and checked everything else under the sink whilst he was with us.

Boiler repair.
Boiler repair had been attempted by others and failed. Direct Line Insurance arranged go2gas visit on New Year's Eve as it was classified as a Home Emergency under my policy and it was fixed, including a replacement part, in 25 minutes. Very thankful.
If you don’t have a home emergency plan, the hang up on you .
My Direct line home insurance recommended to give them a call regarding my boiler. I called and been told they only deal directly with direct line insurance claims with customer with home emergency included in their plan. Direct line confirmed that although my plan doesn’t include the emergency service, I will still be able to use their services and pay directly . Go2gas reused to take the job unless claimed by direct line insurance. The receptionist jsut hanged up on me! Well go2gas only deals with customers with home emergency plan. No need to call . They hang up on you .
They spent two hours wasting time and…
They spent two hours wasting time and making our boiler even worst before telling us we need a new diverter valve.
Then called Vailliant and Vailliant engineer said another engineer had messed around and put in wrong diverter valve and voided Vailliant guarantee. The engineer also left loose washers and screws and tissue paper inside the boiler.

The only issue came via the company who said that the claim was not valid as we had another toilet. However, as the mains water had to be turned off because the isolator had broken and so could not stop the leak we would never have been able to use our other toilets as they were starved of a water supply of any kind. Therefore. IT IS AN EMERGENCY and meets the insurance claim criteria.
If it is ratified as a claim, do I get my money back 🤔??

Boiler repair…
Our boiler had gone off and we have been waiting for ages to get it fixed. In the end we went to our insurance and Roger came out via Admiral. He couldn’t find our house but kept going knowing we were stuck in the cold in December, he was hugely helpful, fixed it in 20 mins and gave us some great advice having just moved to the house about how to maintain the boiler. Great guy and company! We would 100% recommend.
