I got this model for Christmas from my dad. We used to build models when I was younger and this model brought back those memories. The model itself is made of high quality parts and was easy enough to put together. The best part was the customer service. Me being clumsy I lost a screw and they sent me replacements almost immediately when I reached out at no extra cost. They are a great company and if you any interest in this type of model; I would definitely recommend buying one. I will be buying more in the future especially if as they continue to add models. I would love to see an HK 146 or a Browning M1919. I would also love to see these get more complex like assembling the gas system and such.

I LOVE my Goldilocked AK47! I absolutely love the real wood kit for my AK! It makes a huge difference in the look and feel. I left one plastic piece on to show the difference.

I purchased the AR-15 and it was not even straight. They sent two replacement receivers and barrels, both of them, with barrel threaded into the receiver, angled to the right. They need to advertise that their AR-15 is not straight and that they are angled/ milled to the right. The M16A1 has the threaded barrel like the AR too. Not the detail they advertise. The flash hider on one of the replacement barrels was stripped to. Oh yea, Sarge, well, she got mad and even insulted me in an email. Also told me to just “bend it straight”. They stated,”Most of the customers just bend them”. Goat Guns would not stand by their, “leave no man behind”, policy on their website. They would not even send a paid return label to ship the products back even though there product was noticeably machined with the barrel angled right. They deleted my account on their site also, to eliminate my review. Oh well, win some lose some.

Been a fan of GoatGuns from the jump and I can honestly say, I'm not sure I've done business with a better company. Had a couple issues (quality control and shipping) and both times the GoatGuns customer service team went above and beyond to make it right. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

I had some issues with a discount code, but I was in a rush, so I moved forward with my order anyway. They were able to resolve my issue with the code after the fact, even though this isn't something they typically do. It was great customer service.

I bought some of their products for a friend of mine and he loved them. They were larger than we thought and the attention to detail is great.

Goatguns are a great gift item or nice to purchase for yourself and just collect and display!

I REALL LIKED THIS MODEL!

so over all the golden AK-47 looks cool. However it was semi difficult to assemble even with the how to video. Also the lever that lets you change it to semi/auto comes lose if you use it to much so you have to constantly retighten it. The gun itself constantly shakes and feels like parts are lose even though i have tightened all i could. Needs some better design.

Ive purchased nearly every replica from Goatguns except the variants for the AR or M16 or 1911. Just recently got my 2nd MCX model from them. They are improving on their replicas and will soon create even more bullet ejection models. They also have good customer service, if you’re missing a part just contact them and they will do what they can to help you.

personally, these are the best models ever, great detail, die-cast metal, and just fun to mess around with. would recommend 10/10 for any occasion.

I gotta say I've been impressed with each Goatgun that I have built so far. I'm really enjoying it all and there is a pretty good facebook community for Goatgun fans. I haven't had to deal with any customer service issues, but the chat line has been helpful a couple times with basic issues & info. All and all, I'm happy and really enjoying the products.

I'm the proud pappy of: 2-supply crates, 1-1911 Coyot, 1-AR Coyot plus 2-203s, 3-grips (2 angled 1 vert) about 8 optics, 6-cases of ammo, 4-Suppressors, 3 flash hiders, 2-slings 1-SOPMOD And a partridge in a pear of tree. Yep GGA (GoatGuns Anonymous) here I come. Anthony at GGs on YouTube is the man, man. I love everything about this company and I'm constantly telling foolios about my GGs. Because yes I build them but also take them everywhere with me to "clear" rooms and slice the pie at doorways. I've never begged for a job but whomever posts this please tell HR I'm their guy. I believe in these products and have always been able to get through to support staff and it's so frigging tight to interact with Ant on YouTube. I'd like to do a GG TV show with him. Anyhow go buy GGs now and order the new SIG MTX "Rattler" coming mid July. Last thing GGs are a really good time to sit with the Billy's and teach gun safety and spend some fun quality time. OORAH

Though the 1911 model is perfect, and completely made out of metal, and feels worth the money to get, the paint does not stick to the metal of my model, and there may be a defect with my magazine or gun model mechanics. The magazine looks torn and used after a few days of fidgeting with it. The handguards do not hold up their paint and are prone to getting dead skin stuck within the crevasses. You cannot clean this because the grip paint will wear off too with abrasion. My magazine has also become unfit to lock into its slot. It can easily be forced out without pressing the release button.

Freeze! This is the only review you need. GoatGuns are fun and they take care of you if needed after buying. Great support.

Terrible models mine did not go together after trying for 11/2 hours even watched a video it was the mini svd I am a gun fanatic I wanted to sit down and relax after working and just got frustrated and ended up breaking the thing out of frustration I am very depressed now and was wanting something fun for a change.
