Unimpressed. Providing me with a "new" match. But it wasn't, I already knew of the policy and the provider already has my current address. Do not understand why Gretel thought otherwise..
Set this up a year ago , they found nothing , then today got an email with a pension policy I forgot about , now in touch with them to get my money, thank you all at Gretel fast and very professional... Voir plus

Waste of time and hope
Been registered for a few months and absolutely nothing!!! Registered with another one and within seconds I had virtually all my pension info. You say you are new, but all my providers are well known such as Scottish Widows, but to have NO RESULTS is really poor!!!

We are still relatively new and have a lot of ground to cover before we have all the providers working and sharing data with us which is why a match may not happen immediately. Whilst our coverage is by no means complete, Gretel is always on. This means that once a member has created their account, even if there isn’t a match right away, Gretel will keep searching and any future matches will be notified by email.
I'm sorry that we haven’t been able to provide an instant result but we will work tirelessly to get more and more providers to share their data.

Having registered with Gretel a few months ago and in all honesty having forgotten I'd done this, it was a great surprise to hear that they had found a policy I didn't know existed. I was met with kindness and empathy. The lovely case worker kept me updated on the progress, actioned documents promptly. Gretel has strict rules and I was reassured that they will only release information once all information has been cross checked. Highly recommned this, epecially during such a difficult time. Located my deceased husband's shares
Registering on Gretel was the most productive this I have ever done since the passing of my husband in 2020. We are now in 2024 and they found! an investment for my late husband. It was not found straight away but I got a message that they will continue to search and I couldn't believe it when about 6 months later, I got an email saying they find 1 account in his name. I contacted the company and YES! there was an account with very significant amount. Without Gretel, that money would have been lost because I had no idea it was there. I will recommend Gretel to anyone in similar position.

I found this wonderful service on Martin Lewis, Moneysaving expert. Whilst in my case (5 shillings from 1965 in an old Post Office Savings Bank) there wasn't a hidden surprise, they were amazing in helping me to quickly ascertain this fact. Excellent service.

I joined Gretel a few months ago, searching for a lost investment and I had forgotten about it.
Although I was already aware of the new link Gretel found, it's good to know that they're still searching for my investment, and that the range of partners is increasing.

Gretel - give it a try.
I was sceptical at first, especially when exchanging sensitive information, but I did my background checks and I was happy to proceed to sign up. The site is very simple to use and I’ve already had a lost Financial account appear on my dashboard and as Gretel sign up more institutions, it will automatically ‘review’ for based on the info provided.
If you think you’ve also got ‘missing’ accounts that like me, you no longer have records of, then this is the best service partner I have found to date.

This is a quite easy to use website . I have completed the info but not heard anything back. I had pensions with previous employers but they don’t seem to ask any questions about them. So I wonder how and what do they search. Only time will tell.

Great so far, website so easy to use
I heard about Gretel on Martin Lewis, their website is so easy to use, especially being able to upload documents straight from your mobile!! No news yet but I have entered all my details and my late husband and fingers crossed there’ll be pots of money I didn’t know about 😁
