I contacted Handy Cleaners to arrange carpet cleaning of a communal staircase. Maria and Lisa were very prompt in responding to my enquiry and excellent at co-ordinating arrangements afterwards, always answering my emails quickly and keeping me informed every step of the way (I was away at the time). The technician was very punctual and polite, and very accommodating – he provided an extension lead as the power socket in the hallway was out of order. He did a great job and the carpet looked like new afterwards. Excellent service, very professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Handy Cleaners and I will definitely be using their services again in the future. Thank you!

I'd give zero if I could. They were almost 2 hours late, and kept telling me they were almost there. They parked in the incorrect parking space despite reminding them constantly to move risking parking fines for myself. They missed an entire storeroom to be cleaned and there was still dust and fluff throughout property. They finished cleaning at 19:30pm and should have finished at 16:30 if they were on time. I had to cancel my evening plans and was left waiting at my flat for hours. They spoke barely any English so was very hard to communicate with them.

When I complained the next day I was told they could come and clean again the next day, but I had tenants moving in so this was useless to me. I was offered no form of discount for the original quote despite the lateness and poor cleaning job.

I used this company 6 years ago when moving out of my previous property and they did a good job but they've cleaning gone down hill since.

Avoid like the plague.

Booked an end of lease clean after a six month rental. I was pleased and both the owner of the flat and the man who inspected the flat (to return the security deposit) commented on how clean it was.

Very positive experience - we use Handy Cleaners regularly for carpet cleaning and they are always prompt, responsive and good value.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Handy. They have taken two unauthorised £60 charges from me and I have not used their services at all. The second one was despite the fact I had cancelled in May and they accepted this and stated that they had deleted all my information, yet low and behold they take £60 directly out of my bank account in June. Totally unacceptable. Do not recommend. Total waste of my time and very stressful trying to reclaim the money (they just stop responding to emails).

I have now used the company 3 times and they have always been quick to respond and provided a very good service.
Our carpet is in a tennis club and gets quite dirty but they managed to get it looking super again!

I have just used Handy Cleaners to steam clean carpet in my apartment and the whole service, from getting a quote to having the job completed today was first class. Very quick to respond to my online request (20 minutes!!), professional, very competitive pricing, and they did a great job with the carpet cleaning. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
