Do not use this company
Do not use this company. They are incompetent and so not take responsibility for damage they cause.
In May, their technician created new, irreversible stains on the rug he was cleaning. Rug now needs to be replaced. After a struggle to get HandyCleaners to agree acceptable compensation, they did so in June. They have still not paid up, arguing that I must rely on their subcontractors insurance. I have no contract with him. I am taking them to court.

Deep cleaning of an empty house
We booked deep cleaning of an empty house before moving in. The house was in a clean condition, but we still wanted it cleaned because builders used the toilet and there was some dust.
The cleaning by Handy Cleaners was barely noticeable. I found small crumbs in the fridge and the over was clearly not cleaned. Also, there was dust for example on the radiators, the boiler and the ceiling lamps. The rest of the house was reasonably clean, but it wasn't too dirty to begin with. All in all pretty mediocre cleaning especially considering the price.

We needed a carpet cleaned ASAP and Handy Cleaners were able to send someone the next day. The cleaner was extremely polite and thorough and did an excellent quick job. I will be using them again in the future.

Look elsewhere for end of tenancy
Recently booked an end of tenancy deep clean with Handy Cleaners. The quality of cleaning was extremely poor (floors not mopped, missed dusting and hoovering, cupboards not cleared out). They refused to guarantee the kitchens and bathrooms due to limescale, then proceeded to not bother to clean these rooms properly at all. Needless to say we had to resort to booking another cleaner last minute to get our deposit back. Avoid making the same expensive mistake, and avoid this company.

I had problems with Handy because they… took my money when there was no service rendered.
I had problems with Handy because they never notified me as to when my cleaner would be coming, There is no one to call directly if you have a problem. Emailing takes severals days at best. So I stopped payment on my account with Handy at my bank. One month goes by no problem. Now this month August they from what I am told changed their ID number and was somehow able to take money out of my bank account. Believe me i am addressing this with my bank for sure. But as of right now I have paid for services not rendered. I think they are crooks

They cancelled on us at the last minute for a post-building work clean-up, a day before we were supposed to move in. Pretty awful.
