We booked handy rubbish to clear our yard of builders rubble and pallets.
The team were on time and very efficient.

On the Saturday before a Bank Holiday Monday i contacted Handyrubbish i had been left in the lurch by builders who had left me with a heavy/large load in my garden to have removed from my premises. My phone call was answered by a very polite & professional fellow who after viewing photos of the load that i needed to be cleared quickly called me straight back with a price and an appointment for half an hours time to have the load taken away.. Two fellows arrived to do the necessaries. Although the price did change and go up once they' arrived as we realised that the heavy load that i had was somewhat larger then we had first anticipated the same fellow who i spoke with initially then very patiently explained the reason for the price increase to me without any pressure from them to go ahead with the job so, the choice was all mine. Although, the new price did sound rather high to me i wanted the load gone so i agreed to it. However, while the two real nice guys were carrying the rubbish out to their truck i was contacted again by the same fellow who i had spoken with twice previously to inform me that they had made a mistake and that the actual cost was Infact reduced back down to a lower rate.... which saved me £60.. needless to say i was very pleased as that was a great gesture on their part and showed that they are an honest company to deal with. The whole procedure was all dealt with from start to finish in about an hour and a half if that! I would most certainly have no hesitation in booking this company again in the future to remove rubbish for me. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone whom i know who may need a rubbish removal company. The service which i recieved was 10/10 . Many Thanks. :)

We booked in for the removal of a shed and some garden waste for 9am on Friday 27 July in N12. We helpfully received a call on Thursday afternoon to confirm the booking.

My husband and I took a half day of annual leave and began removing what we could from 8am. We received a call at 9am (when the removal team were supposed to arrive) stating that the van had broken down and they weren't able to come. No alternative was offered, despite the fact that we had explained that we had arranged this in advance and calling us at the time that they were due to be at the property was not acceptable.

We tried to see if someone could come to simply remove the waste and do the shed at a later date, and were told that this would form two separate charges. No offers of goodwill were made as a gesture for the inconvenience and we were left to do multiple dump trips in our car and try and find someone else for the shed at the last minute.

Book elsewhere and don't use this company!

I have used Handy a few times and they are good. Getting rid of waste can be a pain and these guys do a decent job.

Yes they were rubbish. Booked a week in advance - cleared out my garage and they phoned me 30 minutes before arranged time to say they had to cancel. I asked for options and they actually put the phone down on me. I then called JunkBunk who came at 19:30 on a saturday to rescue the situation. Use them, handyrubbish were rubbish. Really rubbish. JunkBunk were £40 cheaper anyway.
