Got my hard hat sports watch for my birthday four months ago and had nothing but problems and now my touch screen does not work so it is unusable I had high hopes for this watch but instead very disappointed

Worked great for 7-8 months, just out of its 6 month warranty it failed and stopped telling the time!
Hard hat Australia would not honour the warranty.
So much for indestructible!

Didn’t last 8 months make sure you get the extended warranty cause it isn’t covered after 6months didn’t even get treat roughly definitely not as tough as they claim wouldn’t buy again

You get what you pay for and these watches are crap. Bought a Sports Model, went swimming for 5 mins and it stopped working - 5 emails and over two weeks and still have not seen a replacement. Appalling quality and customer service.

I bought a watch from these guys a little while ago. Delivery was fast and the watch was solid.
I see a lot of reviews saying there are cheaper ones online but I wouldn't risk buying from a chinese website. I noticed my watch has the hard hat logo on it but the other ones are unbranded so they could be fakes. you can buy a fake rolex online as well lol
all in all its held up good, survives my work battering and dont have to charge it often. im happy

Piece of crap
While winding the window up in landcruiser my wrist bumped the rubber/plastic door handle the plastic where the band attaches to the watch completely snapped making it unwearable and the Aholes don’t even respond

The watch is one of the best things Ive had. Their customer service is A+. After enquiring with them online about the product, their response was quick and helpfull.

I wanted to upgrade my smartwatch, but i wanted something large/chunky, but at the same time durable to wear at work. I'm not a builder or anything Industrial, but I do work in a warehouse from time to time when I'm not in the office. I just didn't want my next smartwatch to fall apart after knocking it on something.
Through a Google search, I found 'Hard Hat' Watches.
I was put off a bit by the price and some of the reviews I found online, questioning the build/quality and manufacturing location/Delivery times etc.. But decided to go for it. I received a 'In Transit' email with a map showing it was somewhere over Asia, which made me nervous, bit went with the flow.
It took a little while to get to me, roughly 2 weeks, give or take, As soon as I took it out the box, my earlier reservations about build quality faded away and the UI was very receptive and seemed decent quality. It was a bit of a faff, to get the app set up tailored to my requirements etc.., but in the end, very happy with my purchase. If i had to find a negative, it would probably be the battery life. Its not terrible but could be better.

Have had 3 watches - all have been faulty within 48 hours of wearing them. Try to contact customer service with slow replies.
Definitely would not recommend.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Hard Hat Watches Australia.
I purchased a watch in 2025 (Foreman), which stopped working. While the company did replace it free of charge (because of the warranty) in December 2025, the replacement watch also stopped working only a few months later in February 2026. This means that two watches failed within a relatively short period of time, without misuse or damage.
When I requested a refund due to repeated product failure, I was only offered a 50% discount on purchasing another Hard Hat product. I found this resolution unreasonable, as I do not feel confident purchasing a third product after having two watches stop working.
I appreciated the initial replacement, but ongoing product reliability issues and the lack of a proper refund or alternative solution have left me unsatisfied. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product or service based on my my experience.
My partners Hard Hat watch I brought about 2 years ago is still working (the square one)

100% recommend watch is holding up while scaffolding ….i some how ordered 2 … i emailed and spoke to employee and got my money back for 2nd one and it was delivered very quickly … 10/10

Just wanna start by saying I would never have ordered this watch if I was to know it was coming from china, it’s advertised as an Australian company. The watch is still showing as in transit in Hong Kong and has been now for over a week I ordered the watch Wednesday 11th February and it stated 3-5 day delivery. The last update was it was in Hong Kio on the 16th February since then no tracking update I have reached out to the company who have apologised for the delay saying it’s in transit we’re now on day 9 and it’s still in Hong kio it’s a joke I wouldn’t even waste your time ordering from them although I
Did get a response from my email the communication is 0 no updates nothing!
False advertising if you ask me as it definitely not 3-5 working days!!! Avoid

Watch stopped working after three weeks. Cannot talk to anyone over the phone and emails were responded to slowly. Got the old "you need to expect some problems with Tech'... Not what Garmin, Apple would say. Did get a replacement watch, however not confident. Should have read the review by a guy in New Zealand. Leonard Funk - very in depth review. Would not have bought if I had seen this. I think you can buy these watches from Temu for about $30.00. Buyer Beware.

Avoid!!!! My husband Karl purchased a big rig watch... looks like a cheap Chinese copy. Didn't even get it out of the box. Postage shows it was shipped from London but to return it we have to pay to post it to Australia and there will be an additional administration fee!!! What a joke of a company.
