They take time to listen and you dont feel rushed, its nice to know you can speak to a gp when needed and not 3 weeks after the ossue

I went on the app, booked a slot, the doctor rang me right on 11.48 and by 12.30 I was at the chemist collecting my prescription. First class service. Well done Westfield

Easy to make an appointment and speak to a g.p, they listen and give you time, and are incredibly knowledgeable, would highly recommend.

My employer uses their services as EAP.
I don't want to share too much of my personal situation but I felt like I could benefit from speaking to someone, because I'm going through a very difficult time.
My employer described the service as "50 minute appointment/session with a mental health professional" or something close to that.
I called and couldn't speak to anyone on the day and so we scheduled a call the next week. I was a bit disappointed to find out an appointment is actually only 30 minutes.
The person was late to the appointment.
The appointment felt rushed and lasted 24 minutes.
We have come to a conclusion that I should try doing things that make me feel good and also relax and do things I enjoy and just.. stop being depressed.
Having had previous experience elsewhere, I did not feel like I had a conversation with a qualified mental health professional. I felt like a had a conversation with someone who took psychology for a year, in secondary school.
I felt really embarrassed and let down but I didn't have it in me to tell them they were unfortunately unhelpful. I am just really disappointed and not sure where else to turn now.
Looking at all the glowing positive reviews here (some for some app?) I feel like I must have been really unlucky, or, maybe I'm the problem here.
Based on my own experience, I would not recommend, but why not try for yourself.

An almost immediate appointment advising that my symptoms needed to be checked urgently with my own GP. This reassured me that I wasn't wasting anyone's time and gave me to confidence to ask for a referral as I had been symptomatic for over and the GP had brushed off with antibiotics

The doctor who called me listened to me and asked questions about the BP readings I had taken and advised me to contact my own GP when they opened again. Thebconsultation put my mind at ease.
